Arsenal_AM_Episode_059 Clive Allen and Kenny Samson transfer

In the Summer of 1980 Arsenal signed one of the hottest properties in English football but he never played for Arsenal, so what happened?

  2. 60

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_058 Éiresenal Éiresenal Éiresenal

In the absence of any real news of substance and trying to avoid the World Cup I decided to look at the Irish players for Arsenal and found some interesting things

  3. 59

Arsenal_AM_Episode_54 Sakas' Time is now and transfer rumours

I react to some transfer rumours and I speak to my thoughts on the Saka documentary and I try not to give too much away but if you don't want to know anything come back after you watch it.

  4. 58

Arsenal_AM_Episode_53 Youth targets and future proofing, Greek rumours

I discuss rumours of an under 19 left back and a left winger from Belgium

  5. 57

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_52 Statistical change

I do not claim to be a statistician or a data driven commentator, but I did feel there were changes in the premier league the season gone. Were there less goals?Did restarts take longer? Was the league less entertaining? To find the answer to the above listen to the pod for the entertaining part let me tell you, it was made far more entertaining by us winning and less remarkable when we didn't win. In other words it was poor and I watched very few games that didn't involve Arsenal.

  6. 56

Arsenal_AM_Episode_51 Transfer Rumours, Saka the movie star and Monga agrees terms

Arsenal are being linked with some pretty big names and seem set to sign a new name.

  7. 55

Arsenal_AM_Episode_050 Squad Evaluation Part 3 The attack issues

Our depth chart on the right looks like an issue but maybe it gives us an opportunity to protect Saka early on in the season? On the left we have a lower ceiling than we'd like who can we get to raise the bar? Up top, we have three at least one must go, does Kai stay a striker option if we get a new number 9?

  8. 54

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_049 Squad Evaluation Part 2

I continue the evaluation into our midfield big questions remain over Ethan Nwaneri for me, I hope for him to prove me wrong. After the show I used Louis Dunfords instagram post the story on the Angel because I felt it to be touching, I hope he doesn't mind.

  9. 53

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_48 Squad Evaluation Part 1

In todays episode I look at our goalkeepers and our defence with an eye to next season, does Kepa stay, is Setford set for a loan, is White going to challenge Timber for a starting right back spot? Can Ricky appear as the first 3,10 hybrid? Probably he can but can he stay fit?

  10. 52

Arsenal_AM_Episode_47 A record breaking Parade North London is Red

Benny White lived his best life today atop the open top bus and I am here for it. I am so happy the Champions league result didn't impact the joy of the parade. Arsenal are huge! Massive! Champions!

  11. 51

Arsenal_AM_Episode_46 So Proud of our Gunners the hurt is yet to come

This was not the podcast that I hoped to do, this was the podcast I needed to do for therapy purposes. On the off chance Big Gabi or anyone reads this description we love you Gabi and you are still our King of Brazil. It was the best defence against the best attack and all they got was a penalty we scored from play, sadly for us we emptied the tank and were short of seasoned penalty takers at the end. Let's take a moment savour what we did achieve this season and we'll go again in 26/27.

  12. 50

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_45 Champions League Final day

History stands before us with PSG between us and the trophy make it count boys. PikesPeak got their shout out in.Its going to be an emotional rollercoaster

  13. 49

Arsenal_AM_Episode_44 Josh Speaks and Arsenal fans start to arrive in Budapest

Some great quotes out of Josh Kronke as he does the media rounds, lots of different takes on Mikel Arteta taking over and building us back up. The Orlandogooners got in touch with their viewing party details so if you are around Orlando you know where to go. 1 more sleep to the champions league final come on you Gunners!!!!!

  14. 48

Arsenal_AM_Episode_43 1,725kms from London to Budapest

There are some incomings and outgoings rumoured, Arsenal look to establish some selling credentials. Timber has trained and Arsenal prepare for a champions league final. The @Denvergooners got their shout out for their Champions league events sounds like a great bunch of fans.

  15. 47

Arsenal_AM_Episode_042 Attention starts to move to Budapest

With just 4 days to the champions league our focus is drifting east to Budapest. It's still early to know anything about the teams and we are thinking about the game.Doesn't mean we don't have moments to enjoy from the last few days.

  16. 46

Arsenal_AM_Episode_41_Champions league Preview with Alex from PSG Ireland

  17. 45

Arsenal_AM_Episode_40 I cried tears of joy

With nothing on the game the main thing was to avoid injury getting a positive result a nice to have but the meat of the day was simply to get the trophy back into our hands. It was a beautiful moment full of joy and tears and wonderful memories I saw the haters try stuff I didn't even care I will have a day of catching up on content before we build up to the champions league final on Saturday.

  18. 44

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_39 Give us that trophy!

Its been 22 years 8,044 days and 836 games since we were presented the premier league trophy in 2004, the wait is over around 6pm today Arsenal premier league campaign will end with a trophy presentation to our captain Martin Odergaard. Love every second of it!Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal Champions of England!

  19. 43

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_38_Whats PSGs season been like

In the aftermath of Arsenal winning the league I have turned my focus to our champions league final opponents PSG. To discuss them and their season I have been joined by Alex founder of the PSG Ireland supporters club.

  20. 42

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_37 Mikel has Edu's BBQ

We all knew Mikel has been cooking with this squad for a while and we finally got the Well Done fillet of the Premier League title on Tuesday night. The boss left the training ground and went home before the Bournemouth game and started cooking on his BBQ and distracted himself from the game to be given the news that Arsenal had become champions by his tearful ten year old boy, a moment I am sure he and his family will cherish forever. Aside from that the squad came back for a light training session and champions league press conference ahead of next weeks Champions League final. Oliver Glasner throws shade on Spurs Come on you Gunners

  21. 41

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_36 Super Mik Arteta

We are Champions and the man who lead us there brought us a long long way, fixed many things that were broken and created the foundations for Arsenal to step into the upper levels of the league. Its the Fogging eStandards and we are lucky to have him, thank you Mikel gracias.

  22. 40

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_35 Arsenal Premier League Champions

It's been 22 long years, there is a generation of Arsenal fans that don't know what it's like to celebrate a league title.......they do now! After Man City failed to beat Bournemouth (Some may even say bottled it) Arsenal were crowned Champions of England for the 14th time!In todays episode I try and gather enough thoughts to make some sense, I thought of the suffering of Arsene Wenger, the courage and commitment of Mikel Arteta and that the Emirates stadium which often seemed devoid of history is now the home of the 2025/26 Champions Arsenal Football club. To all the haters you can do one!

  23. 39

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_34 That was torture

Arsenal made us suffer through to a 1 nil victory with no room for error and the tension was palpable across the Gunnersphere. Kai Havertz with a header from a Saka corner set piece FC strikes again. Beyond that we are likely to be blamed for driving Pep out of the premier league with our margins football but let us revel in the moment as we try and become champions for the first time in 22 long years

  24. 38

Arsenal_AM_Episode_33 We could be champions on Tuesday Night

It's match day and Arsenal are at home to Burnley knowing two wins and they are champions for the first time in 22 long and painful years. While we are heavy favourites for the game there are considerations around team selection with the champions league final at play. We have a job to do, lets go and do it!Come on you Gunners!!!!!!

  25. 37

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_32 Everybody hates Arsenal

I look at the hatred of Arsenal and the financial doping that's overlooked at our expense.

  26. 36

Arsenal_AM_Episode_031 Cup Final days (fixed audio)

I don't want to give any credit to the financially doped teams participating in the cup final so I discuss Arsenals cup finals in 1993, 2001 still haunts me. The cup is only ever on loan from the 14 time winners!

  27. 35

Arsenal_AM_Episode_30_The Boss speaks and MLS learns to cook

Mikel had his press conference today, a nice lighted moment about MLS learning to cook with his grandmother and he spoke about the injuries and the right back situation.

  28. 34

Arsenal_AM_Episode_29 RIP Peter Simpson, Is the Emirates headed for a rebuild

Arsenal must wait until at least Tuesday to become champions after Man City won 3 nil against Palace (I guess they don't want the extra 10 million to hit their accounts just yet). It was announced that Peter Simpson had passed away at 81, holding 10th spot in our all time appearance list with 478, RIP Peter and condolences to his loved ones. Rumours that there could be a rebuild of the Emirates stadium are floating around, I discuss some of the top moments in the Emirates era.I also provided the quiz result so shout out to Andy Kelly who referenced this article in response to who was the Arsenal manager when Patrick Vieira signed. https://thearsenalcollection.org.uk/?p=35587

  29. 33

Arsenal AM episode 28 Benny Blanco you've been immense

Slow news day as we await Palaces visit to Man City, Ben Whites season is seemingly over and he's been a hero of a player for us

  30. 32

Arsenal_AM_Episode_27 the media discourse is stealing our joy

Following our 1 nil win away to West Ham the media are intently focused on VAR correctly disallowing what would have been a West Ham equaliser. It has taken a toll on the enjoyment of the result and the title run in as once again we are subjected to ragebait and other energy sapping content based on at best whataboutery and most likely what is disingenuous media reporting. Spurs are still in a relegation battle so that's nice

  31. 31

Arsenal_AM_Episode_26_Leo scores again and Raya is our hero

That was joyous and pleasurable for 20mins until Ben White went off and Mikel Arteta went mega mind with the replacements and induced much more stress than we wanted or needed. Gary Neville was insufferable on co-coms, Leo Trossard and Martin Odergard stepped up and David Raya saved out backside, but the title is in our hands and we edge ever closer to it.

  32. 30

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_25_London Stadium Calling

Arsenal head to the London stadium knowing we have a 2 point lead after City won 3 nil against Brentford, so our margin for error is still low but we maintain control of our own destiny.Start strong start right put the game to bed as early as possible and rest players when the job is done.

  33. 29

Arsenal_AM_Episode_24_East bound and West Ham on the verge of going down

We are match day minus 1, Arteta gave his press conference we have a near fit squad and we are chasing historySend us Fan Mail

  34. 28

    Arsenal_AM_Episode_23_Celebration Police out in force

Arsenal have been portrayed in a negative light in the media for a long time, we were rarely the cool kids, we didn't have the best players and when we did they came from the wrong place or couldn't stand up to the rough and tumble of the British game. Well we could have and are doing so again, I respectfully tell the media (the disingenuous parts of the media at least to shove their narratives up their holes) Send us Fan Mail

  35. 27

Arsenal_AM_Episode_22_Budapest bound and we have come together

A look back at the Arsenal At.Madrid semi-final the magic of the fans and the harmony that we have found over the years since Mikel Arteta took over and the distance we have come from finishing 8th to favourites for the league and in the champions league final. Send us Fan Mail
