Back Pocket Theology

Back Pocket Theology is a theology podcast geared towards teens and tweens. We’re centered around Christ only, and our goal is to change your teen’s view on the Bible. Every other Wednesday, we’ll take a trip into this amazing book and teach your teen something new about God and the never-ending story! We’ll take a headline, work on habits, and other beneficial information and along the way access it and align it with God’s word. We’ll also read a verse of the week and pray at the end of each episode to sign off. Hope you all enjoy the show or at least learn something about our Creator! Peace out!

Christianity vs Artificial Intelligence?!? (S1 E3)

Hey guys! Welcome back to BPT!! We have a couple of announcements for you before we start. Sorry guys about not diving into the theology on topics. We discuss them but don’t really go over them so today we will try harder to go into detail. Also, to give ourselves a more flexible timeframe, each episode will now come out some time between Wednesday at noon and  Friday morning. Sorry guys for the previous delays. We simply underestimated how long it would take for editing for complete. Today we’ll cover a series of topics. We’ll discuss the pros and cons of AI from a Christian perspective. We’ll go through how to use it without going overboard and idolizing it. We’ll also discuss the true meaning of one of the most overlooked topics in churches all over: the Fear of the Lord. We’ll give you an introduction to it and compare the differences between Fearing God and “do not be afraid”! There is an important difference that you MUST know. “The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”. Now, last but not least we have the 2026 Youth Theme: The Walk With Me Challenge! We will talk about who created it, why they made it, and why we should participate. Anyways, thanks all of you for listening! See you in two weeks!  Peace out!

The International Spiritual Renewal (S1 E2)

Hey everyone! This week we’ll start off with the ISR (International Spiritual Renewal).  Lately, there has been a surge of Gen Z Christian attendance at churches around the world an and apparently they have a better track record of going than Millennials! Today our plan is to look at what’s happening and why, and the answer might surprise you! Also, there's a saying that says something along the lines of "God will never tell you to do something and not give you the ability to do it". Essentially, if you feel the need to do something or if you feel conviction from God, He will give you the ability to do it. If He wants you to start a YouTube channel or a podcast like us, He will provide.Another thing, we'll give you tips on memorizing scripture in today’s episode. Some people struggle with memorizing scripture, whether it’s for a church event or it’s a verse that connects to you. There are many ways to do this. There are also ways to motivate yourself and others to memorize scripture. This will cause spiritual growth within you and the other people you influence. Today, we’ll talk about knowledge, whether true or false. We’ll talk about the differences, how to identify each, and how to determine whether such and such aligns with one or the other. Aligning different things with different tests (we discuss them in the episode) will allow you to make your own decisions (by the grace of God) while making good biblically sound decisions.Anyways, thanks all of you for listening! See you in two weeks!  Peace out!
