I was shot nine times. It was a miracle that I survived. I spent many days in the hospital recovering from my injuries. During that time, I had a lot of time to reflect on my life. I had been living in a state of denial, pretending like everything was okay. But now that I was faced with death, I realized that I needed to make some changes.One of the things that I realized was that I needed to get help for my mental health. I had been struggling with depression and anxiety for a long time and I hadn't been dealing with it. A Life coach was something that had always intimidated me, but I decided to give it a try.It was one of the best decisions that I ever made. The Life coach helped me to deal with my emotions and to see things in a different light. He showed me that it was okay to be vulnerable and that it was okay to ask for help.Most importantly, he helped me to see that my life was worth living.
