This is the most well known of Erik Satie&#39s 3 Gymnodepies. Written in the late 1880&#39s, it is considered to be one of the most tranquil piano pieces ever written. Arrangement by Tom Arri.

Composed this years ago but just decided to record it. Added some guitar backup to fill out the sound a bit. It&#39s not bluegrassy or Old-Timey, but it sounded a bit classical to me so at the risk of offending the purists out there that&#39s how I classified it, and that&#39s how I settled on the title, which may be pronounced Broken if you so desire. :>) In G tuning.

This was an outtake from the recording sessions from my third album with the band &#34Defiance&#34 back in 1991 (album of the same name was released in June 1992).

The Indiana jones theme played first in the lowest octave, then up an octave, then the tracks merged and both octaves synched to play the same time. Played on helix zephyr with chris sands medium nylon strings.
