Putin' On The Ritz
What better tune to play after watching "Young Frankenstein"? Another of my "you can't play that on the banjo" tunes; played out of Open Gm tuning on my Vega Tubaphone. (Yes, I know it's properly spelled "Puttin' On The Ritz". This is merely an a-political Transylvanian joke at the expense of the Russian dictato......er, sorry: President-For-Life.)

Only Time (2 Violins and Banjo)
So you still think that a banjo can only play fast and happy stuff? Here is something to bring you some tears in your eyes! Yeah thats pop banjo! Actually I do not listen to pop music that much but this is just one of the most touching melodies I have ever heard in my life. I came across this song on youtube and I was so amazed its beauty that I immediately cancelled all plans for this day and I started to write my own arrangement of this piece. It works so well on banjo and violin! After 3 hours it was done. The next day I recorded it. Everything is played by myself including the mistakes LOL! Please get me some comments. Picked on the HUBER BANJO.

My wife, Lynn, is on bass and I'm struggling along on the banjo and guitar.

This tune was a big challenge. My wife, Lynn, is on bass and "Hoo-Hah's;" I'm on banjo, guitar, whistling and "Hoo-Hah's." :^D I hope you enjoy it!

Brazil
A classic old samba. I recorded it on an old tape multi-track, and the tape stretched, so it's slower than recorded, but I still like the groove. I used my Ibanez Bi-Centennial banjo, an Ibanez AE100 jazz guitar run through a phaser, a Gibson AJ, and an old drum machine.
