This week Tia convinces me that playing in a cover band is okay! Tia plays in a ton of bands (Liturgy, Huh, Reservoir Dawgs, The Rocket Queens, Girls Of Summer, Army Of Eve) and was the bass player for one of my all time favorite punk bands, Pygmy Shrews, and she also play in cover bands! We talk about going from one world to the other, why cred doesn't mean anything, and if you love playing music you just gotta do it. 

This week I'm airing an interview I did last year with my friend Jeremy Bent. Jeremy is primarily a comedian, but he's also a bass player who's played bass in different comedy shows and comedy bands. This week I'm talking with my literal hero, Joe Lally. You might know Joe as the bass player of a little band called Fugazi. He's also got two newer great bands called The Messthetics and Coriky. I can't understate the effect that Joe has had on my life, and getting to talk to him was surreal. We talked a lot about his history, getting into music, and how music saved his life.
