Bat-Supe!

Legal sleight-of-hand and chicanery abound, and the rubber's about to meet the road in the case of The People VS Bat-Supe...and back in Metropolis, Superman is preparing for his next encounter with the Atom Man, or so he thinks. Meanwhile, the Atom Man and Sidney have other plans...

The lawyers have locked everything down pretty tight, but we have a feeling our team has a few loopholes to play hula-hoop with…meanwhile, back in Metropolis, the Atom Man and Superman have something new in common: they’re both in big time medical trouble. The Atom Man has a reasonably qualified medical staff standing by. Superman’s got Perry White…

The news out of Bat-Supe's legal situation is that there won't be any news. And meanwhile, in Metropolis, Clark Kent has come staggering back into the office after a rough night out…or three. Will anyone finally believe him about the Atom Man...? (I'm doubting it because if you'll recall, he spelled it out in great big letters for Lois Lane, and not only did she not believe him, she didn't care enough to sit on the story for 24 hours...which is how we got here. But hey. What's one power-hungry atomic monster among friends, am I right??)

The only word out of the Bat-Supe Corporation is that the scholarships are still on. The only other words out of the Bat-Supe Corporation are “no comment.” Meanwhile, back in Metropolis, Superman has disappeared, but nobody knows it because nobody knows who he is…is this a good time to remind everyone that Clark Kent begged Lois Lane not to write a story about the Kryptonite and the museum? “But other than all that, Mr. Kent, what did you think of the punctuation in the article, eh? Pretty great, eh?”

There’s legal shenanigans afoot in the land of Bat-Supe, and the showdown between the Atom Man and Superman didn’t go well for the Man of Steel. In fact, if this is any indication, his life really seems to be going to the dogs…

Can Bat-Supe make a prerecorded podcast interactive? That’s a stretch even for them…but maybe…just maybe…if you believe hard enough…you can accomplish anything! Like, take good ol’ Hank Miller for example. He believed he could be the Atom Man as hard as anything and look at him now. Getting ready to turn Superman into a puddle of Souperman…

More talk about scholarships, but no word on the prizes? Hmmmm, something’s afoot for the Bat-Supe people, gang, and it seems like for now, Mum’s the word. Meanwhile, The Atom Man is on the verge of discovering exactly why Clark Kent gets weak when he’s in the room with Henry Miller, and it’s looking like bad news for Superman no matter how you slice it!

Things are still quiet on the Bat-Supe front, which means…well, the only thing we know for sure is that the scholarships are still a thing…so…we’ll see what happens next. Meanwhile, thanks to some quick thinking by Lois Lane, Superman had to bust himself out of a “rest farm” and ended up confronting Henry Miller, who is really the Atom Man. Will he survive? Will Lois ever learn? Will we ever get to the ellipsis…?

They say less is more. So all the “not-talking-about-much” that’s coming out of the Bat-Supe Corporation is speaking louder than all the not–words they’re not-saying. And remember how Clark Kent told Lois Lane not to breathe a word about the Kryptonite and she did and now there’s an Atom Man? Well, Fellows and Girls, for her next trick…A PADDED TRUCK!

Things are a little topsy-turvy at Bat-Supe HQ, and it’s not looking much better for the Atom Man, who wasn’t looking like he was long for the world when last we left him. Of course, if he recovers it’s bad news for The Man of Steel, so this is quite the moral dilemma…On the plus side, maybe this is a problem that’ll solve itself…Then again, this storyline is named after him...so...

Lawyers, lawyers everywhere, and it's not looking good for Bat-Supe, Inc. Let the legal wrangling begin as the fate of the Swell Prizes Program could hang in the balance! And meanwhile, in Germany, Superman has just about had it with all the standing around and waiting. After all, he can do that in Metropolis! But you can bet your Bat-Supe Decoder Ring that Der Teufel isn't just standing around...

Looks like somebody’s had to Lawyer-Up, and already the fat is in the fire. Something’s up, and it’s not looking good for the Bat-Supers…Meanwhile, the Kryptonite is on a world tour thanks to Der Teufel’s little jaunt back to Germany. Not to be outdone, Superman has joined the chase (in his guise of Clark Kent, of course…) Will he be too late?

Even in the face of adversity, the Bat-Supe team knows that it’s never good to be hangry. Meanwhile, in Metropolis, Superman in his guise of Clark Kent is on the trail of the stolen Kryptonite by way of a murdered man and his dying accomplice. Of course, he’s got Inspector Henderson on his side, so the odds may be stacked against him…

From here on out it’s all Superman, all the time! It’s the first episode of the Bat-Supe Season Two PREHEAT! Batman And Robin will be returning to help Superman deal with another Kryptonite problem soon. But how did it all start? Well, you already know about the Scarlet Widow, but what happened next? This is where we find out! It's time to meet someone named Adam, man. No. Wait. That's supposed to be "Atom Man." HELP WANTED: PROOFREADER...

All good things must come to an end, Fellows and Girls. And sometimes they should come to an end. The program may be over…ish…but the story will continue. It has to because there’s plenty more to come from Superman and his struggle with the Scarlet Widow and her pesky Kryptonite…
