Beats for Journey to Alpha Centauri
by PolyGroovers
This album is a hypothetical soundtrack to the first human mission to Alpha Centauri using the warp drive that was recently confirmed viable. A few years into the journey the crew encounters a wormhole. A bunch of unstable tychions in the fusion reactor result in an explosion, disabling the ship's engines. An unexpected message with an unknown source arrives, giving the crew a strategy to fix the engine and continue the journey. Several months later the ship arrives at Alpha Centauri and makes a crash-landing on the planet Proxima Centauri B. Within the first week the crew discovers ruins of an ancient civilization called "alpha-neuronaphts" spread all over the planet. A month later they encounter the first living offspring of alphaneuronaphts, called "betasync-prontoaphts" inhabiting the planet's underground systems.
