This week I'm going back to the archives. Early in my career, as a brand-new assistant, I said yes to a service I had no business doing, on a client I should've turned away. She muscled me through the whole appointment, and by the end my fingers were cut up and she ripped the work apart in front of me. I cried. This week I'm not coming from a place of resolve. I'm coming from the middle of it. My books have been full for over a year, but when I actually looked at them, they told a different story.
