Building regenerative leadership and business through sports recycling | Erin Cunningham

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Erin Cunningham, CEO and Executive Director of RecycleBalls, to explore life, leadership, business, regeneration, community and the liminal space between what is ending and what is becoming possible next.Erin leads an organisation transforming sports recycling, collecting and repurposing millions of used tennis balls each year into new products and new possibilities.Erin described what she calls the liminal side of transformation, the often uncomfortable space between what has been and what has not yet fully formed. For me, this is being formless: remaining present in the unknown long enough for a new shape to emerge. As Erin beautifully shared: “Sometimes we try to rush out of that space. But that’s where the magic can happen. That’s where the regenerative idea is born.”We discussed why regeneration is becoming the next evolution beyond sustainability, why meaningful transformation never happens alone, and why the future of business may depend less on having all the answers and more on our willingness to reshape ourselves, our systems and our communities together. Regeneration isn’t simply about what we do with waste, it’s about recognising what still holds potential, reimagining what it could become, and creating the conditions for people, businesses and communities to continually evolve.I loved when Erin asked me a question about leadership and change: what happens when the leader has already leapt into the liminal space, and the team is still standing at the edge? You'll have to watch to see my response..THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from sustaining what exists towards regenerating what could become next. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that waste is the natural end of a product’s life✨ The idea that sustainability is enough when regeneration is now being asked of us✨ The assumption that leaders must already know the full answer before stepping into changeUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine waste as material waiting for a new life✨ Create systems where people can participate in change rather than simply believe in it✨ Reshape leadership as the ability to stay present in the liminal spaceRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build through inspiration, innovation and infrastructure✨ Bring teams into change through trust, connection and shared humanity✨ Let regeneration become a living practice, not just an environmental conceptACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you trying to rush out of the liminal space too quickly?✨ What in your business, leadership or life still has another life in it?✨ What would change if you moved from sustaining to regenerating?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/erinccunningham/🌐 https://www.recycleballs.org💭 What could emerge if you stayed in the liminal space just a little longer? If something is shifting in your life, leadership or business journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #recycleballs #regenerativebusiness #sustainability #sports #socialimpact #liminal #community #insideouttransformation

Why the future starts with human potential | Neuroscience & Venture Capital | Rudi Adigbli

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Rudi Adigbli, Founder of Reewire VC, to explore one of the biggest questions facing founders, leaders and investors today:What if the greatest opportunity of the next decade isn’t artificial intelligence… instead human intelligence? As technology accelerates, attention is shrinking, mental health is declining and more founders are discovering that productivity alone is no longer enough. We discussed neuroscience, flow science, neuroplasticity, venture capital and the deeper relationship between performance, the nervous system and human potential.Rudi is building Reewire VC around a bold investment thesis: that the future belongs to technologies that help us think more clearly, regulate more effectively and reconnect with what makes us human. What fascinated me most was that while Rudi was building a fund around rewiring the human mind, he found himself having to rewire his own. As old patterns, trauma and leadership challenges surfaced, his venture became as much an inner transformation as it was an investment thesis.I loved how Rudi shared his own lived experienced, the journey he is on, what happens when founders stop optimising for more output and begin understanding the biology, behaviour and beliefs driving everything beneath it.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from productivity-driven performance towards nervous system awareness, flow state, whole-being and human-aligned technology. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that more time, more pressure and more output always create better performance✨ The assumption that mental health, cognitive decline and productivity are separate problems✨ The idea that technology is neutral when it is actively shaping human behaviour and habitUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine performance as something shaped by the nervous system, body and mind together✨ Create technology that supports agency, clarity and human alignment rather than addiction✨ Reshape venture capital around mental health, cognitive performance and human potentialRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Listen to the body as part of the intelligence system✨ Use breaks, recovery and presence as part of high-quality output✨ Build from the inside out so the founder, the company and the mission evolve togetherACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you confusing constant output with true performance?✨ What old wiring is shaping the way you build, lead or respond under pressure?✨ How might your work change if your nervous system became part of the strategy?🔗 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rudi-komi-adigbli/🌐 Reewire VC: https://reewire.vc💭 What changes when we stop forcing performance and start rewiring from within? If something is shifting in your life, leadership, business or investment journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #reewirevc #venturecapital #neuroscience #flowscience #humanpotential #mentalhealth #cognitiveperformance #neuroplasticity #founderjourney #nervoussystem #insideouttransformation #highflow #antifragile #soul

Spiritual awakening, pattern disruption & feminine power | Janelle Bridge

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Janelle Bridge, Psychic Pattern Disruptor, author of The Process of Breaking Open and host of The Inner Know Podcast, to explore life, leadership, motherhood, learnings from a being a celebrant spirituality, feminine power, intuition, pattern disruption and what happens when we stop looking outside ourselves for permission.Janelle helps women reconnect with their inner knowing and uncover the patterns keeping them disconnected from who they truly are. What makes Janelle’s work so powerful is that she does not use psychic guidance to take people’s power away, it's about them getting it back.Janelle shared how motherhood became one of her greatest awakenings. As the mother of two neurodivergent children, including a son with ADHD and a daughter who is autistic, she found herself questioning everything she had been told a “good mother” should be. The more she tried to follow outside advice, expert opinions and social expectations, the more disconnected she felt from herself and from what her children actually needed. What stood out most was Janelle’s honesty about wanting people to see how hard she was trying, not because she wanted praise, because she wanted people to know it was not her fault.Janelle’s reminder was simple and profound: sometimes the first step is not to fix, force or find the answer. Sometimes it is to sit in the unknown long enough to hear what is actually being shown.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from external validation towards deep self-trust, inner knowing and the courage to stop pretending. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that being a good mother, leader or woman means getting it right in everyone else’s eyes✨ The pressure to perform strength, success or certainty when we are actually breaking open✨ The habit of looking outside ourselves for permission, validation or predictionUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine intuition as a form of self-trust, not something separate from everyday life✨ Create space to sit in the void instead of rushing to fix what is shifting✨ Reshape power through softness, honesty, vulnerability and feminine wisdomRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Trust what feels true, even when outside advice says otherwise✨ Notice the patterns that keep repeating and ask what they are trying to show you✨ Let breaking open become the beginning of a more honest way to live, lead and buildACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you still performing for external validation?✨ What pattern keeps repeating because it has not yet been seen?✨ What might shift if you stopped pretending and trusted what you already know?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/janelle-bridge-03996ab8/🌐 https://www.janellebridge.com📖 The Process of Breaking Open💭 What changes when we stop pretending and start trusting what we already know?If something is shifting in your life, leadership, business journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #janellebridge #spiritualawakening #patterninterrupt #femininepower #intuition #love #neurodivergent

Building what matters | Conscious venture capital & founder alignment | Bryce Gilleland

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Bryce Gilleland, Managing Partner at California Innovation Fund, to explore life, leadership, venture capital, founder alignment, innovation, energy, spirituality, purpose and what happens when performance is no longer enough on its own.Bryce’s career has included leading the world’s top performing hedge fund in 2020. From the outside, it is a story that could easily be framed around achievement, performance and investment success. He spoke openly about the point in his career where everything looked right on paper and that led him to step away, take a six-month sabbatical, travel, explore spirituality, spend time in Bali and begin asking deeper questions about purpose, identity and the life he actually wanted.Bryce now brings that lens into venture capital and what stood out was how much he values not only technical excellence, as well as founder alignment: the difference between someone building because a market looks hot and someone building because they are deeply connected to the problem they are solving.Bryce’s perspective is a reminder that capital still needs discernment. The strongest founders are grounded, curious, diligent, coachable and connected to the work they are choosing to give the next five to ten years of their lives to.I love how Bryce, captured in our chat; If you know the exact path you are on, you may not be open enough to what else wants to emerge.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from pursuing success for its own sake towards building a life, business and investment philosophy that is deeply aligned with purpose, curiosity and the impact we want to create. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that success on paper means the path is right✨ The assumption that capability is enough without clarity of why✨ The idea that venture capital should only measure markets, numbers and momentumUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine performance as something that needs purpose underneath it✨ Create space to hear what is actually aligned before choosing the next path✨ Reshape founder-market fit around lived connection, curiosity and deep commitmentRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Back founders who are grounded, diligent and connected to the problem✨ Build from expertise rather than chasing any good deal✨ Let intuition, analysis and purpose work together when making decisionsACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you performing well but feeling misaligned?✨ What path might reveal itself if you created more space to listen?✨ Is your current ambition connected to your deeper why?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/bryce-gilleland-574b74a/🌐 https://www.linkedin.com/company/californiainnovationfund/💭 What changes when performance is guided by purpose, not just achievement? If something is shifting in your life, leadership, business or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #californiainnovationfund #founderalignment #purpose #innovation #consciouscapital #insideouttransformation

Confidence, human performance & sports tech | Women in VC | CiCi Bellis

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with CiCi Bellis, Founder and General Partner of Cartan Capital, former professional tennis player and Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree, to explore life, leadership, venture capital, human performance, women in VC, confidence, reinvention and what happens when one high performance chapter ends and another begins.CiCi reached a career-high ranking of World No. 35 as a professional tennis player before injuries forced her to step away. I loved the way CiCi has carried the discipline, antifragility, preparation and competitive intelligence from tennis into venture capital. As Founder and General Partner of Cartan Capital, CiCi now invests in sports, health and performance technology companies helping people move, recover, perform and live healthier lives. CiCi knows what it feels like to train, compete, recover, manage pressure, work through injury and rebuild when the path changes. We discussed how performance shifts when the scoreboard changes, why confidence matters in sport, business and investing, and how the habits built through elite competition can become powerful foundations for company building and capital allocation.CiCi spoke about the underrepresentation of women across VC, the early analyst and associate levels where many leave before reaching leadership positions. She also reflected on the strength of female founders, the importance of backing women, and why more pathways are needed for young women to see venture capital as a place where they can lead, invest and shape the future.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from elite athlete to investor, and the realisation that performance, confidence and identity can move with us into new arenas. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that one identity defines the whole journey✨ The assumption that starting again means starting from nothing✨ The idea that performance only belongs in sportUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine confidence as something built through preparation and repetition✨ Create new pathways for women in venture capital and capital allocation✨ Reshape performance around movement, recovery, health and long-term human potentialRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Carry discipline from one arena into the next✨ Trust the skills built through pressure, competition and reinvention✨ Keep learning when the field, rules and scoreboard changeACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What strengths are you carrying from a previous chapter into your next arena?✨ Where are you underestimating the discipline you have already built?✨ What would shift if confidence came from preparation rather than certainty?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/cici-bellis-750926182/🌐 https://www.cartancapital.com/💭 What strengths are you already carrying into your next chapter? If something is shifting in your life, leadership, business or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #cartancapital #womeninvc #humanperformance #sportstech #reinvention #eliteperformance #confidence #founderjourney #insideouttransformation

Identity, self-trust & becoming who you were always meant to be | Dani Wallace

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Dani Wallace, Founder of The BIG Festoon and known as The Queen Bee, to explore life, leadership, identity, visibility, community, speaking, self-trust and what happens when the business you have built asks you to become someone new.As two self-confessed "queen bees" meeting across opposite sides of the world, our conversation began with laughter, honey, hives and the role bees play in building energetic ecosystems. Dani shared the meaning behind The BIG Festoon, drawn from the way bees link arms and use themselves as a unit of measurement when building something new: businesses linking arms, communities building together, and founders remembering that success is not meant to be a solo performance. On the outside, everything looked like a huge milestone, yet on the inside, it cost her deeply and led to what she described as a tower moment, where old structures, old patterns and old ways of building began to fall away. Sounded very formless to me..For years, she had been helping people become more visible, use their voice and show up authentically, while also recognising that much of her own growth had been driven by survival, achievement, validation and the need to keep moving. When the pace finally slowed, she found herself facing the deeper question underneath it all: do I actually like myself when I am no longer performing, producing or proving?I loved how Dani shared about learning to sit with herself, rebuild self-trust, receive support, soften into her feminine energy and separate who she is from what she has built. THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from performing confidence towards real self-trust, community and voice. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that success means constantly pushing forward✨ The idea that visibility requires performance rather than presence✨ The assumption that the founder and the business are the same thingUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine confidence as self-knowledge✨ Create community by linking arms rather than building alone✨ Reshape visibility around connection, truth and identityRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build structures that support the next version of the business✨ Use your voice as a vehicle for impact, influence and income✨ Let the business become the vehicle, not the whole identityACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you performing confidence instead of trusting yourself?✨ What part of your identity is ready to evolve?✨ Who are you linking arms with as you build what comes next?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/iamthequeenbee/📸 @iamqueenbee🌐 https://thebigfestoon.co.uk💭 What changes when confidence stops being something we perform and becomes something we know from within? If something is shifting in your life, leadership or business journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #thebigfestoon #queenbee #visibility #identity #selftrust #publicspeaking #community #confidence #presence #womeninbusiness #insideouttransformation #soulfulhighflowconsciousleadership #lifeleadershipbusiness

Jing, Qi & Shen | Building vitality, leadership & business that lasts | Mason Taylor

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Mason Taylor, Founder and CEO of SuperFeast, to explore life, leadership, longevity, tonic herbs, medicinal mushrooms, business essence, founder identity and what it means to build a company around vitality rather than extraction. What began as a passion project has grown into one of Australia’s leading suppliers of Di Tao tonic herbs and mushrooms, built around traditional wisdom, flourishing health and the belief that vitality is something we can consciously cultivate over time.Mason spoke openly about stepping back into the CEO role, moving people and agencies on, and recognising where the business had drifted away from its core intent. He described SuperFeast as something far more alive than a product company. It is a vessel for education, longevity, traditional wisdom and helping people build enough energy, awareness and vitality to move through life with more presence and less degeneration. We explored the Taoist framework of Jing, Qi and Shen, and how Mason uses it not only to understand health, but also to understand business. Jing as the vessel and foundation, Qi as the animation and movement, and Shen as the spirit, direction and deeper destination. That framework opened up a powerful way of looking at organisations as living systems, where the health of the individual, the team and the business are all interconnected. What I loved most was Mason’s refusal to separate vitality from business. For him, longevity is not just about living longer. It is about becoming someone with enough energy, wisdom and clarity to arrive in elderhood as a better human, not a burdened, depleted or disconnected version of ourselves. His work sits inside AI automation, the deeper thread was really about energy, attention and where human beings create the most value in a world that is becoming increasingly automated.Robert shared his journey from big tech into entrepreneurship, the challenges of introducing new technology into traditional industries, and the realities of building something that many people do not yet fully understand. We explored the friction that exists inside organisations when repetitive work dominates the day, not only slowing responsiveness and decision-making, but draining focus, creating frustration and leaving teams stuck solving the same problems over and over again.Robert spoke candidly about rejection, self-doubt, resilience and the emotional reality of building a business from the ground up. He reflected on the challenge of continuing forward when the market says no, when timing is uncertain and when results take longer than expected.I related to what Robert said..“What is this trying to teach me?”THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from friction to clarity, from reaction to intention, and from constant activity to more meaningful use of human energy. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that humans should carry every repetitive task✨ The assumption that rejection means failure✨ The idea that working harder is always the answerUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine automation as a tool that supports people rather than replaces them✨ Create systems that reduce friction and improve responsiveness✨ Reshape rejection into information, feedback and learningRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Focus human attention where judgement creates the greatest value✨ Build businesses that create clarity rather than complexity✨ Use setbacks as opportunities to refine, adapt and improveACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where is repetitive work draining energy from your business?✨ What are you taking personally that may simply be timing or feedback?✨ Where would greater clarity create greater momentum?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/robert-hangu/🌐 https://nextops.agency🎙️ https://www.youtube.com/@OperationalClarityHOA💭 Where is your energy leaking, and what becomes possible when you redirect it towards what matters most?If something is shifting in your life, leadership or business journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #operationalclarity #humanjudgement #antifragile #automation #entrepreneurship #attentioneconomy #insideouttransformation #founderstartup

Founder readiness, due diligence & building companies that endure | Paul Claxton

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Paul Anthony Claxton, Founder and General Partner of Digerati Investments and Managing Partner at Reciprocity ROI, to explore life, leadership, venture capital, founder readiness, diligence, discipline and what it takes to build companies that can withstand pressure.Paul’s perspective is shaped by far more than capital markets. As a former United States Marine and combat veteran, he brings a unique lens to leadership, accountability, risk and decision-making under uncertainty. It is a perspective forged through experience, where performance matters, pressure reveals character and preparation often determines survival.Paul stated that capital should never exist in isolation from discipline. Too often, founders are taught that raising money is the next milestone. Paul challenges that assumption. He believes the real question is not whether a company can raise capital, but whether it is ready for it.One concept that I loved was what Paul calls “money with muscle”, capital that helps founders gain customers, strengthen strategy, attract the right partners and build from a position of clarity rather than urgency. There was also a strong thread around disclosure, trust and diligence. Paul spoke openly about why founders should never hide their challenges, why investors need to understand the reality beneath the pitch deck and why enduring businesses are often built through transparency rather than performance. We discussed the difference between businesses built for momentum and businesses built to last. Paul continually returned to the same underlying principle: pressure has a way of revealing what is real.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from capital as momentum towards capital as discipline, alignment and long-term endurance. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that raising capital is always the next right move✨ The assumption that hype creates durable companies✨ The idea that investors should only assess the upsideUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine capital consciously as structure, not just funding✨ Create founder readiness before institutional pressure arrives✨ Reshape diligence around disclosure, risk and alignmentRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build with disciplined priorities, not endless urgency✨ Match the right capital structure to the right stage✨ Invest in founders who can pivot, execute and lead under pressureACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Are you raising capital because the business is ready, or because the pressure feels urgent?✨ Where does your company need more discipline before more money?✨ What risks need to be disclosed before they become liabilities?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/businessmanathletemarine/🌐 https://www.paulclaxton.io/💭 What changes when capital is deployed with discipline, not hype?If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #venturecapital #founderreadiness #duediligence #ainative #startupfounder #discipline

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Lindsay LaShell, Founder and Lead Navigator of Buffalo Collective, to explore life, leadership, regenerative business, matriarchal economics, integrated leadership and what's possible when business is rebuilt from relationship rather than extraction.Lindsay describes herself as a doula for the matriarchal economy, her work challenges the idea that professionalism, finance, leadership and business systems are neutral, asking instead who they were built to serve, who they continue to protect and what needs to be reshaped if we want businesses that are more human, regenerative and alive. We spoke about power, not as something to avoid, instead as something that can be used with more ethics, care, clarity and shared purpose. Lindsay challenged the old dynamics of leadership, delegation, sales and finance, showing how many of the systems we accept as “just business” are actually built on extraction, control and scarcity. We discussed the difference between sustainability and regeneration, why business needs to be treated as a living system, and how abundance changes the way we think about value, growth, capital and relationships.Lindsay also shared the thinking behind her work on regenerative term sheets, including business finance models that protect the founder, the business and the investor rather than prioritising extraction or exit above all else.We reflected on what it means to stop shrinking big ideas, especially as a woman, and to build from the wholeness of lived experience, values, power and purpose. I loved this: “Pretending not to have big crazy ideas actually was a lot harder.”THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from business as extraction towards business as regeneration, relationship and integrated leadership. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that business systems are neutral✨ The assumption that professionalism requires separation from self✨ The idea that finance should prioritise extraction, control or exit above missionUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine power as something that can be wielded with care and shared purpose✨ Create business models built from abundance, reciprocity and regeneration✨ Reshape leadership around integration, not performanceRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build practical systems that reflect regenerative values✨ Treat the business as a living system, not just a vehicle for return✨ Lead from wholeness, identity and relationshipACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you separating who you are from how you lead?✨ What parts of your business are still built on extraction rather than regeneration?✨ How might your leadership change if power became something to steward, not suppress?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/lindsaylashell/🌐 https://buffalocollective.co/💭 What becomes possible when business is rebuilt from relationship rather than extraction? If something is shifting in your business, leadership or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #regenerativebusiness #matriarchaleconomy #integratedleadership

Rethinking meritocracy | Human contribution & collective success | Jacob Chase

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Jacob Chase, Founder and CEO of The INFIN, to explore life, leadership, human contribution, meritocracy, performance, value creation and what happens when the people creating real value inside organisations remain unseen. After building a real estate business with more than 100 people, Jacob became increasingly interested in a question most organisations struggle to answer: how do we actually recognise who is creating value? That question became the foundation for The INFIN, the belief that individual success and collective success should not sit in opposition.Through The INFIN, he is building a system designed to help companies better understand human contribution in real time, not through outdated performance reviews, politics or top-down scoring, instead a more decentralised view of how people experience contribution across a team.We discussed traditional performance systems and how often they miss the people who make organisations better, how value can become distorted when assessment sits only with leadership, and why the most important contributors are not always the loudest, most visible or most senior.Jacob shared how the idea began in his real estate company, when a lower-level team member was contributing far beyond what the market said his role was worth. That moment opened a much bigger question around how organisations reward service, recognise trust and connect human performance to business success.I loved Jacob's founder share.. “Some ideas just don’t let you go.”THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from performance as top-down assessment towards contribution as something more human, visible and collective. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that performance can be fully understood from the top down✨ The assumption that job title, salary or visibility always reflect real contribution✨ The idea that individual success and collective success are separateUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine value as something created through contribution, service and trust✨ Create more visibility around who is actually strengthening the organisation✨ Reshape meritocracy around behaviours that support collective successRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Use decentralised insight to understand performance more clearly✨ Recognise the invisible contributors before they become flight risks✨ Build systems where the best way to serve yourself is by serving othersACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Who is creating value in your organisation that may not yet be visible?✨ Where are old performance systems rewarding politics over contribution?✨ How might your business change if human contribution became easier to see?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/jacobdchase/🌐 https://www.theinfin.com/💭 What changes when the people creating real value inside organisations finally become visible? If something is shifting in your business, leadership or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapefitdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #founderjourney #contribution #meritocracy #futureofwork #performance #valuecreation #people

The Reawakening of Central Asia | Venture capital, startups & emerging ecosystems | Robin Butler

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Robin Butler, Partner at Sturgeon Capital, to explore life, leadership, venture capital, emerging markets, ecosystem building, adaptation and what it takes to invest before the world is paying attention.Robin has spent years helping build venture ecosystems across Central Asia and the Caucasus through Sturgeon Capital, sharing how Central Asia has undergone a remarkable reawakening over the past decade, transforming from a region largely disconnected from the global economy into an increasingly dynamic and interconnected landscape of founders, investors, institutions and innovation hubs.We discussed what happens when ecosystems move from disconnected to interconnected, why trust often needs to be built long before outcomes become visible, and how adaptation has become one of the most important survival skills for both founders and investors. Robin reflected on the relationship between instability and opportunity, why venture capital is ultimately about ecosystem building rather than capital deployment alone, and how founders look remarkably similar regardless of geography. We talked about creating more opportunities for younger generations through innovation, the long game required to build enduring businesses and markets, and what the sturgeon fish itself can teach us about resilience, evolution and surviving through constant change.I loved how Robin said, “When everything is set and everyone is comfortable with the status quo, change becomes difficult because people feel they have more to lose than gain.”THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from waiting for certainty towards building through trust, adaptation and long-term ecosystem thinking. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that opportunity only exists in established markets✨ The assumption that uncertainty automatically means risk✨ The idea that ecosystems can be built through capital aloneUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine emerging markets as places of possibility✨ Create trust before outcomes become obvious✨ Reshape investing around relationships, patience and presenceRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build with a long-term horizon✨ Look for opportunity where others are not yet looking✨ Adapt alongside the ecosystems you are helping createACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you overlooking opportunity because it does not yet look fully formed?✨ What ecosystem are you helping shape through your actions, relationships and decisions?✨ How might adaptation become an advantage rather than a response to change?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/robin-butler-cfa-666318135/🌐 https://www.sturgeoncapital.com/💭 What becomes possible when we stop waiting for certainty and start building alongside the ecosystems emerging around us?If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #venturecapital #emergingmarkets #centralasia #ecosystembuilding #startupfounders #investing #adaptation #innovation #futureofbusiness

What if we’ve been building it wrong? | Construction innovation & founder lessons | Barry Lynch

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Barry Lynch, Co-Founder and CEO of ηezo, to explore life, leadership, construction, sustainability, startup life, founder antifragility and what happens when stability stops being the goal.Barry spent more than 20 years in construction consultancy before deciding that stability was overrated. After building and selling his own consultancy, he stepped into software and co-founded ηezo, a platform helping architects and engineers make better building decisions earlier through visibility across cost, carbon, weight and material impact. What started as a more efficient way to price buildings evolved into a new way of identifying hidden opportunities, reducing waste and improving outcomes before a project is locked in.It was refreshing listening to Barry’s ability to keep moving through uncertainty. From being told by his father that he would not simply inherit the family business, to leaving Ireland after the global financial crisis, to rebuilding his career in Christchurch after the earthquakes, uncertainty has been a constant thread in his story. We discussed why the construction industry often repeats old patterns, relying on time, habit and disconnected data rather than asking whether there is a better way to build. Barry’s view was clear: sustainability only works when it also makes commercial sense. Barry spoke openly about the moments when the market shifted, legislation changed, the original message stopped working and the team had to regroup. Instead of shutting down, they reframed the value of the business, leaned into the data and kept going.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from chasing stability towards building through uncertainty, better data and enough belief to stay the course when the plan changes. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that stability is always the safest path✨ The assumption that construction decisions are already optimised✨ The idea that sustainability and commercial reality sit in oppositionUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine uncertainty as part of the founder journey✨ Create better decisions through cost, carbon and material visibility✨ Reshape sustainability around value, not compliance aloneRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build with the right people at the right time✨ Use data to uncover missed opportunities earlier✨ Keep going when the market, message or model changesACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you holding onto stability that no longer serves the future you are building?✨ What opportunities are being missed because the data is arriving too late?✨ How might your business change if uncertainty became something to work with, not something to avoid?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in🌐 https://nezo-app.com/💭 What becomes possible when we stop designing from old assumptions and start building from better data?If something is shifting in your business, leadership or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #founder #constructiontech #carbonreduction #buildingdesign #entrepreneurship #growth #antifragile #lifeleadershipbusiness

Keep people in the moment | Founder chaos & Liively venue technology | Norbert Herrmann

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Norbert Herrmann, Founder and Chief Product Officer of Liively, to explore life, leadership, entrepreneurship, live events, hospitality technology, founder resilience and what happens when building a business becomes less about control and more about learning through chaos.Norbert has spent more than 30 years working across design, technology, startups and digital transformation, building products around how people move, gather, buy, wait and experience the world around them. Through Liively, he is now focused on helping stadiums, venues and hospitality operators reduce friction so people can stay connected to the live moments they came for. What stood out in this conversation was the simplicity of the problem Liively is solving. People do not go to a concert, football game or live event to stand in a queue, they go to be in the moment.Liively was built around that human truth, using mobile commerce and engagement technology to help guests order food, drinks and merchandise without missing the song, the goal, the moment or the people they came with.Norbert shared how the early version of Liively was tested with Google Sheets, Slack, Skype and QR codes before evolving into a platform now moving through international proof-of-concepts and pilot programs, including work with Asahi and global venue groups.I loved how Norbert spoke so openly about the uncertainty of building, fundraising, shifting investor expectations, market timing, and the constant need to adapt as the business changes shape. In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Emanuele Pizzatti, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at FutureWave, to explore life, leadership, business, investing, infrastructure, growth and what real value creation actually looks like inside a company over time.Emanuele’s work sits beyond transactional capital. Through FutureWave, he and his team focus on how people, capital, strategy and decision-making interact at the moments that shape whether a company can scale with clarity or quietly lose alignment as it grows. What stood out in this conversation was Emanuele’s view that value creation cannot simply be promised from the outside. It has to be actively contributed to, through commercial development, market access, the right partnerships, stronger alignment and a clear understanding of where investors can genuinely help.We explored why FutureWave is increasingly focused on infrastructure and B2B businesses, where long-term value is shaped not only by capital, but also by public sector alignment, supply chains, commercial partnerships and the ability to execute across markets.Emanuele also spoke about the internal side of value creation. Behind every strategy, system or investment plan are people, processes and decision-making dynamics. When companies reach inflection points, clarity can either strengthen or erode, depending on how aligned the people inside the business really are.For Emanuele, the question is not only whether a company has potential. It is whether FutureWave can actively help create value alongside the team.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from capital as funding towards capital as active value creation, alignment and strategic contribution. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that capital alone creates growth✨ The assumption that board meetings are enough support✨ The idea that value creation can remain abstractUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine capital as active contribution✨ Create stronger alignment between people, purpose, process, strategy and execution✨ Reshape investment around where genuine value can be addedRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Focus on the milestones where investors can materially help✨ Build partnerships that support commercial expansion✨ Strengthen decision-making at critical inflection pointsACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where is value being created in your business, and where is it quietly eroding?✨ Are your people, capital and vision truly aligned?✨ What would change if value creation became the strategy, not the slogan?Where to find Emanuele:🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/emapc/🌐 https://futurewave.ltd/💭 What changes when value creation becomes something you actively build, not something you simply promise? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #flowdrivenceo #valuecreation #futurewave #infrastructure #growthcapital #investing #businessgrowth #b2b #strategy #alignment #founderjourney #insideouttransformation #nonlinear #soulfulhighflowconsciousleadership

While much of the world remains focused on AI, Marie's view was clear: quantum is no longer simply a theoretical conversation. Capital, talent and scientific momentum are accelerating, and the next wave of technological transformation is already being built.Having experienced the realities of building a startup, raising capital and navigating failure, Marie now brings a rare perspective to investing, a unique blend of analytical rigour and intuition to evaluating founders and teams.I loved hearing that Marie is seeing more women stepping into leadership positions across both scientific research and venture-backed companies, helping shape not only the technologies of the future, also the way those technologies are funded, built and brought to market.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from innovation as discovery towards innovation as translation, execution and real-world impact. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that breakthrough science automatically becomes a successful company✨ The assumption that great technology always finds its market✨ The idea that venture investing is primarily driven by trends and hypeUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine innovation as a process of translation rather than invention alone✨ Create stronger bridges between research, engineering and commercialisation✨ Reshape venture decisions through evidence, rigor and first-principles thinkingRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build companies around execution, not just ideas✨ Match scientific breakthroughs with real market needs✨ Invest in founders capable of navigating complexity over the long termACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are breakthrough ideas getting stuck before reaching real-world impact?✨ What assumptions are limiting the future that could be built?✨ How might innovation change if we focused less on hype and more on what can actually be proven?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/marie-lepske🌐 https://constructor.capital/💭 What happens when we stop chasing trends and start building the future from first principles? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #flowdrivenceo #deeptech #quantumcomputing #venturecapital #frontier #innovation #firstprinciples #womeninventure #insideouttransformation

What stood out in this conversation was Richard’s insight that investment decisions are often shaped as much by culture as they are by capital.Richard offered a rare perspective on how different societies approach trust, patience, innovation and value creation. While much of Western venture capital is built around speed, growth and financial return, many Japanese investors approach early-stage companies through a different lens. We discussed why Japanese investors often place such importance on persistence, respect and relationship-building, and why trust can take years to earn before meaningful business can begin. I loved how Richard's years as a judo player helped shape his understanding of Japanese culture and the patience required to build real alignment across markets.Richard offered a thoughtful perspective on what may be overlooked as investors crowd into AI, including areas such as material science, carbon nanotubes, blockchain and other potentially transformative technologies that may not be receiving the attention or funding they deserve.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from transactional investing towards relationship-driven capital, technology access and long-term alignment, long before the outcome is known. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that capital is only about financial returns✨ The assumption that faster always creates better outcomes✨ The idea that transactions are the starting point for trustUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine capital as a bridge between cultures, technologies and long-term opportunity✨ Create relationships that extend beyond the transaction✨ Reshape investing around trust, access, patience and strategic alignmentRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build trust before pushing for outcomes✨ Understand the cultural logic behind different investment decisions✨ Stay curious about technologies and opportunities outside the dominant trendACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you prioritising speed over trust?✨ What relationships in your life or business deserve a longer-term perspective?✨ What becomes possible when relationships matter more than transactions?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/richard-samuelson-7a08423/🌐 https://swanvg.com/💭 What becomes possible when relationships are treated as long-term investments rather than short-term transactions? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #patientcapital #relationship #trust #japanesebusiness #culture #innovation #longtermthinking #highflowleadership

Through Caduceus Capital Partners, he and his partners invest in healthcare technology companies that have the potential to improve outcomes, reduce friction and bring better solutions to the people and communities that need them most.I loved Adam’s clarity that breakthrough ideas are not enough on their own. In healthcare, innovation only matters if it can reach patients, support providers and work inside systems that are often complex, slow-moving and difficult to change. We also spoke about AI in healthcare, and why Adam sees enormous opportunity in using technology to improve access, reduce labour burden and help deliver care in ways that were not possible before. His view was optimistic, but grounded. The future will not change all at once, but through experimentation, use cases and the willingness to try. There was also a strong human thread running through this conversation. Adam spoke about the importance of putting people first when working with founders, especially when difficult decisions need to be made. Through the platform, brands can create, test, iterate and scale video content across channels like Meta, TikTok and YouTube, while bringing the creative and performance sides of the business closer together. What I loved most was Patrick's combination of excitement, depth and live show-and-tell, taking us inside Solid and showing how a brand can move from script to voiceover, brand assets, scenes, subtitles and multiple video variations inside one AI-native workflow. We discussed the two sides of the brain inside every organisation: the creative side and the performance side. The magic is not in replacing one with the other, but in connecting them so that creative output can be tested, understood, refined and scaled without losing the human spark. We spoke about manifestation, conviction, co-founder dynamics, founder energy, nervous system regulation and how important it is to understand your own state as you build something at speed. What stood out was how consciously he spoke about bringing that energy back down, protecting it and staying grounded for the long road ahead, with super practical advice: do something you love for a moment, to shift your state and then go back and do the hard thing.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from static creative production towards adaptive, AI-supported creative systems that still depend on human originality, energy and judgement. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that creative production has to stay slow and manual✨ The assumption that performance and creativity must sit in separate worlds✨ The idea that AI removes the need for human creative judgementUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine AI as a creative teammate, not a creative replacement✨ Create systems where performance data feeds back into better creative✨ Reshape video production around iteration, testing and human-led originalityRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Use AI to scale what is already working✨ Connect creative instinct with performance insight✨ Protect founder energy while building through launch and scaleACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where could AI help you move faster without losing your originality?✨ Are your creative and performance teams learning from each other?✨ What helps you shift your state when the hard things still need to get done?🔗 http://linkedin.com/in/prokesch/🌐 https://solidlabs.com💭 What becomes possible when creative energy, performance data and AI start working together? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #solid #ai #creativeautomation #performancemarketing #founderjourney #startupgrowth #creativity #energy #insideouttransformation

Rob shared how his work now sits across several interconnected worlds.I loved the distinction Rob made between transactional deal flow and idea flow and why this matters even more in the age of AI. As technology becomes more pervasive, Rob believes emotional intelligence, trusted networks and human connection will become increasingly valuable. Rob also shared the personal philosophy behind his investment lens: positive for the planet and positive for people. As a parent, he described life as a relay race, where he is running one lap before handing the baton to the next generation. We also spoke about serendipity, conscious capital, humility, vulnerability in rooms of immense wealth, and the power of being able to say, “I don’t know,” even when you have achieved extraordinary success. In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Ashley Heron, Founder and Managing Director of Comma8, to explore life, leadership, business, AI, marketing technology, digital infrastructure and what happens when simple stops working.Ashley has spent years building the operational layer most businesses never see, including the platforms, integrations, loyalty systems, data architecture and customer journeys that help large-scale fitness and wellness brands grow beyond off-the-shelf solutions.Through his work and experience across brands including Club Pilates, TRX and Crunch, we explored the deeper shift happening inside marketing technology as AI, automation and no-code tools reshape what businesses now expect, what clients believe they can do themselves and where real value is moving.Ashley spoke honesty around the inflection point many founders, service businesses and technology companies are facing right now. The things that once created value are becoming the baseline and the question is no longer simply whether something can be built. The question is whether it should be built, why it matters and whether it solves the right hard problem.Together we mused on business longevity, the future of martech, the tension between speed and strategy, and why building hard things for interesting problems still matters in a world where simple tools can create the illusion that everything is easy.I loved Ashley’s advice for founders navigating this level of change: Do the most important thing next, not everything at once, just the next most important thing.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from building faster towards building with greater judgement, adaptability, heart, soul and strategic intention. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that technology alone creates competitive advantage✨ The assumption that faster execution automatically creates better outcomes✨ The idea that knowing how to build is the same as knowing what mattersUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine AI as an accelerator, not a replacement for thinking✨ Create adaptable systems that evolve with the market✨ Reshape value around judgement, strategy and the last mile of executionRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Focus on the most important thing next✨ Use AI to remove the heavy lifting, not the thinking✨ Build systems that support longevity, not just efficiencyACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where has simple stopped working in your business?✨ Are you solving the right problem, or simply moving faster?✨ What is the most important thing to do next?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/ashleyheron/🌐 https://www.commaeight.com🔗 Substack: When Simple Stops Working💭 What happens when simple stops working? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #ai #martech #businesssystems #digitalinfrastructure #wellnessbusiness #businessgrowth #founderjourney #technologystrategy #customerexperience #entrepreneurship #strategy #insideouttransformation

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Tobias Urban, Founder of W11 Network, to explore branding, venture, creativity, AI, cultural relevance and what happens when execution is no longer enough to create meaningful differentiation.Tobias operates at the intersection of branding, venture and culture, helping founders build brands that attract attention, capital and momentum in an increasingly crowded market. Tobias is encouraging us to ask about creativity, identity and value creation. As AI continues to remove barriers to execution, many of the things that once differentiated businesses are becoming more accessible. Yet Tobias believes this shift is making something else far more valuable: Taste. The ability to recognise what matters, what resonates, what should be pursued and what should be left behind. There is a growing importance of founder identity, storytelling and cultural relevance in a world where technology can generate almost endless options but cannot provide conviction and the possibility of a creative renaissance emerging.Tobias reflected on becoming a new dad to baby Amber and how that experience has reshaped his perspective, motivation and relationship with time.I loved Tobias music inspo, giving anyone feeling disconnected from their creative spark: Geese, a young indie band bringing a sense of rawness, originality and cultural energy back into music. It felt like a fitting way to close a conversation centred on creativity, culture and the human signals that remain difficult to automate.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from execution as advantage towards taste, curation and cultural relevance as the new moat. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that speed alone creates differentiation✨ The assumption that polished output means original thinking✨ The idea that brand can be outsourced without losing identityUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine taste as a strategic and creative advantage✨ Create brands that carry story, culture and human signal✨ Reshape AI from an answer machine into a tool that requires discernmentRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Curate what is worth building, not just what can be built✨ Protect the founder story behind the business✨ Build creative conviction in a world of endless optionsACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you moving fast but losing the original signal?✨ What parts of your brand or business feel generated rather than genuinely lived?✨ What would change if you treated taste, culture and story as strategic assets?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/tobias-c-urban/🌐 https://www.linkedin.com/company/w11network/🎧 Geese & 🎥 their Brooklyn live performance on YouTube💭 What becomes possible when we value taste more than technology? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc ceo #taste #creativity #branding #venturecapital #startups #identity #culture #curation #storytelling #entrepreneurship #investing #creativeleadership

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I sat down with Justin "Mukiwa" Reynolds, entrepreneur, venture builder and environmental markets leader, to explore life, leadership, entrepreneurship, regeneration, patient capital and a question that feels increasingly important in a world driven by short-term thinking:What happens when we start building for the next generation instead of the next quarter?Throughout our conversation, Justin challenged many of the assumptions underpinning modern business and investing. From venture creation and environmental markets through to leadership and systems change, he shared why some of the most valuable outcomes in life, business and society require patience, stewardship and longer time horizons than most of us have become accustomed to.What stood out was the idea that regeneration is not simply an environmental concept. It is a way of thinking about leadership, business and capital itself. A shift from extraction towards stewardship and from short-term optimisation towards enduring value creation. As Justin shared insights from building ventures, enabling innovation and working within environmental markets, a deeper theme continued to emerge. Many of the challenges we face today cannot be solved through the same short-term thinking that created them.Instead, they require systems awareness, patient capital and a willingness to invest in outcomes that may take years, or even generations, to fully unfold.I found myself reflecting on how often we optimise for immediate outcomes whilst unintentionally sacrificing longer-term value. Whether in business, investing, leadership or life itself, perhaps some of the most important things we will ever build cannot be measured on a quarterly timeline.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from extractive thinking towards regenerative value creation. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that faster always creates better outcomes✨ The assumption that value is measured only through short-term returns✨ The idea that growth requires extractionUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine capital as a steward of future value✨ Create systems that regenerate rather than deplete✨ Reshape success around what endures over timeRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Think in decades rather than quarters✨ Build ventures that create multiple forms of value✨ Invest in outcomes that compound across generationsACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you optimising for short-term outcomes at the expense of long-term value?✨ What would change if you viewed capital as a tool for stewardship rather than extraction?✨ What legacy are you building for future generations?Where to find Justin:🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/mukiwa/💭 What becomes possible when we stop asking how much value we can extract and start asking how much value we can regenerate? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, investment or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #flowdrivenvc #patientcapital #regeneration #venturecapital #leadership #entrepreneurship #environmentalmarkets #stewardship #systemschange #investing #patience #insideouttransformation #highflowleadership

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Hanne Nuutinen, Co-Founder & CEO of La Joie Homebase®, to explore life, leadership, entrepreneurship, women’s wealth, longevity, community and what it means to consciously create the next chapter of life.Through Hanne’s work with La Joie Homebase®, we explored connected living, purpose, freedom, curiosity, flow and a question many women are beginning to ask themselves: what if ageing was not about slowing down, but about creating a more connected and meaningful way of living? What began as a shared vision between two women from different generations eventually evolved into something much larger. Through conversations with more than one thousand women around the world, similar themes continued to emerge around belonging, purpose, connection, reinvention and the desire to build lives that feel aligned with who we are becoming rather than who we have been.I totally concurred with Hanne’s observation that many women, including myself are not actually looking to slow down. They are looking for more life, more connection, more purpose and more joy, whilst still maintaining their independence and freedom to choose how they live. Ageing is not a problem to solve, it can become an opportunity to consciously redesign life around what matters most now.Hanne shared how women across different countries, cultures and life stages often believed they were the only ones longing for something different. Women who had built careers, raised families, navigated loss, experienced major life transitions and yet still felt there was another chapter waiting to be written. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from viewing ageing as a period of slowing down towards seeing it as an opportunity for reinvention, connection, contribution and purposeful living. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that purpose has an expiry date✨ The assumption that ageing means becoming less relevant✨ The idea that independence and community cannot coexistUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine what the next chapter of life could look like✨ Create environments that support connection without sacrificing freedom✨ Reshape ageing around contribution, curiosity and possibilityRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build a life that reflects who you are now✨ Prioritise belonging, purpose and meaningful relationships✨ Stay curious, engaged and open to new experiencesACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What would your next chapter look like if you designed it intentionally?✨ Where are you holding onto a version of yourself that no longer fits?✨ How might more connection, joy and community change your experience of life?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/hanne-nuutinen🌐 https://lajoiehomebase.com💭 What becomes possible when we stop asking how to grow old and start asking how to stay fully alive? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #womenswealth #longevitym#connectedliving #entrepreneurship #reinvention #purpose #belonging #activeageing #womeninbusiness #flow

Good, better, different | Leadership, patterns, investing & instinct | Mike Warren

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Mike Warren, Founder of Alethia Strategic Business Solutions, to explore life, leadership, investing, coaching, AI, emotional intelligence, DISC profiling and why businesses so often unravel not because of the product, but because of the people.Mike is an investor, executive coach and lifelong entrepreneur, at the centre of his work is the meaning behind Alethia: truth and that idea shaped the entire conversation.Mike’s approach to investing is not built around hype, performance or surface-level potential. It is grounded in looking for what is good, what is better and what is genuinely different.I loved Mike’s kind directness and how he does not separate leadership from the inner world of the person leading. His work moves into the brain, behaviour, emotional regulation, identity, habits, instinct and the patterns leaders often bring into business without realising it. As Mike put it: you need to look for the truth underneath the story being told. One of the most powerful parts of the conversation came towards the end, when Mike reflected on watching his father work 16 to 18 hour days for almost 50 years. That work ethic shaped him, but it also taught him something deeper about success, burnout and the cost of never learning how to set yourself up properly. For Mike, real success is not only about doing more, it is about mastering the setup; your day, thinking, energy and relationships. Your signal-to-noise ratio. Your ability to know when to move, when to pause and when doing nothing is actually the most powerful thing you can do.The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from chasing success on the surface towards uncovering the truth beneath leadership, investing, behaviour and business performance. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that business problems are only strategic or financial✨ The assumption that leadership can be separated from personal patterns✨ The habit of confusing constant doing with real progressUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine investing as truth-seeking, not hype-chasing✨ Create leadership systems that reduce noise and strengthen signal✨ Reshape coaching around behaviour, brain science and practical changeRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Look for what is good, better and genuinely different✨ Assess the people behind the business, not just the business itself✨ Master the setup before trying to scale the outcomeACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What truth are you avoiding in your leadership or business?✨ Where is noise distracting you from what actually matters?✨ What would change if you stopped doing for a moment and reset the setup?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikewarrenalethiasbs/🌐 https://www.asbizsolutions.com/💭 What changes when we stop chasing the story and start looking for the truth underneath it?If something is shifting in your business, leadership or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #flowdrivenvc #investing #executivecoaching #truth #turnaround #founders #emotionalintelligence #highflow

The science of living longer | preventive health & building human potential at scale | Teddy McGill

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Teddy McGill, Co Founder and CEO of Medi Healthcare, Founder of SEVYN CLUB, to explore life, leadership, preventive health, longevity, entrepreneurship and what it means to reconnect with our own biology from the inside out. After a childhood marked by loss, disruption and feeling like he never quite fit the conventional mould, Teddy had this energy about him that was electricHis work through MediHealthcare and SEVYN CLUB sits in the space between science, self-awareness and proactive wellbeing. We explored peptides, cellular performance, healthcare infrastructure, AI, data, longevity, grief, burnout, entrepreneurship, heart-led leadership and the difference between simply living longer and living better for longer. What resonated most was Teddy’s belief that people need to learn how to read their own biology, not through fear, hype or outsourcing every answer, but by becoming more connected to the signals already moving through the body, nervous system, heart, gut and the everyday patterns that shape how we live, recover, lead and make decisions.Teddy also shared how the loss of his sister, the end of his marriage and a period of deep personal change eventually led him into a much wider healing journey, where science and the so-called “woo woo” began to meet.As Teddy put it:“No one climbs a mountain just for the view at the summit. It’s the experience of the climb.”The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from health as something we react to, towards health as something we learn to understand, listen to and actively participate in.This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that health only matters once something goes wrong✨ The idea that longevity is only about living longer✨ The pressure to follow hype without understanding your own biologyUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine health as a relationship with the body, not a transaction✨ Create space for science, intuition and self-awareness to work together✨ Reshape wellbeing around small, consistent changes rather than quick fixesRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Learn to read the signals your body is already giving you✨ Focus on healthspan, not simply lifespan✨ Use technology and AI to support better care without losing the human layerACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you ignoring what your body is trying to tell you?✨ What small change could create a better baseline for your health?✨ Are you chasing optimisation, or building a life you can actually enjoy?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/teddymcgill/🌐 https://medihealthcare.com🌐 SEVYN.club💭 What changes when we stop outsourcing our health and start learning how to read our own biology? If something is shifting in your business, leadership or growth, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #lifeleadershipbusiness #preventivehealth #longevity #healthcareinnovation #biohacking #humanoptimisation #wellbeing #entrepreneurship #insideouttransformation

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Jeffrey Lambert, Founder and CEO of Blue Fusion Partners, to explore life, leadership , transformation, AI readiness, organisational change and what it really takes to move businesses from complexity to clarity from the inside out..With more than two decades leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives, Jeffrey has spent his career helping organisations navigate the tension between ambitious strategy and practical execution. I loved Jeffrey's perspective on, why lasting change starts from the inside out through people, culture and the systems that support them. He called it, freedom within the framework.Jeffrey shared how the strongest organisations create enough structure to provide clarity, alignment and consistency, while still giving people the freedom to contribute, think and solve problems in their own way.We spoke about creating environments where people feel safe enough to raise their hand. In complex environments, people closest to the work often see risks, opportunities and challenges long before they appear on a dashboard. At a time when AI, technology and complexity are accelerating faster than many organisations can absorb, Jeffrey offered a timely reminder that successful transformation still depends on focus, discipline and strong foundations. Not every new tool belongs in the strategy, and not every transformation fails because the idea was wrong. Often, it fails because the organisation was never aligned enough to carry the change. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from treating transformation as a technology project towards understanding transformation as a human, organisational and leadership discipline. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that transformation starts with technology✨ The assumption that people will automatically adopt change once it is implemented✨ The tendency to add complexity instead of creating clarityUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine governance as an enabler rather than a constraint✨ Create alignment before accelerating execution✨ Reshape transformation around people, adoption and trustRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build strong foundations before scaling change✨ Create environments where people feel safe to contribute✨ Focus on clarity, consistency and communication throughout the journeyACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where is complexity creating unnecessary friction?✨ What foundations need strengthening before moving faster?✨ How might greater alignment improve execution and adoption?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/jklambert/🌐 https://www.bluefusionpartners.com🌐 https://fusionpro-pm.com💭 What changes when transformation stops being about technology and starts being about people? If something is shifting in your business, leadership or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #bluefusion #digitaltransformation #leadership #changemanagement #projectmanagement #PMO #highflow

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Jo Robinson-Howarth, Founder of The Happiness Club, to explore life, leadership, healing, happiness, trauma, mindfulness, forgiveness and what it really means to meet the full experience of being human.Jo was so open and honest about where her work began, after a difficult childhood and the sudden loss of her father in her twenties, therapy became the catalyst for a much deeper journey into healing, self-awareness and understanding the patterns that shape our lives. One of the moments that really landed for me was when Jo shared what her therapist told her during one of their first sessions. After years of believing there was something wrong with her, he gently reflected back that there was nothing wrong at all. She had simply learned beliefs and behaviours that were no longer serving her.We explored trauma, forgiveness, mindfulness, motherhood, wellbeing, breast cancer and the difference between chasing happiness versus learning how to meet life as it is.I loved Jo’s perspective on happiness, it is not about being joyful all the time, toxic positivity, denial or pretending everything is fine when it is not, happiness is about embracing the whole of life. That perspective became even more real following a breast cancer diagnosis last year. Rather than seeing it only as something to fight, Jo also approached it as an invitation to slow down, listen more carefully to her body and deepen the self-care practices she had spent years encouraging others to embrace. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from chasing happiness as a destination towards understanding happiness as a deeper capacity to feel, heal, listen and move through life with more awareness. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that happiness means feeling good all the time✨ The idea that trauma only counts when we consciously recognise it as trauma✨ The pressure to keep going when the body is asking us to slow downUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine forgiveness as peace within yourself rather than permission for what happened✨ Create space to feel emotions instead of pushing them away✨ Reshape healing as an ongoing relationship with the mind, body and soulRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Listen to the body before it has to shout✨ Use mindfulness to notice rather than suppress what is happening within you✨ Treat your business, body and life as relationships that require careACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you trying to avoid feelings that are asking to be felt?✨ What part of your life needs more appreciation and less pressure?✨ What might change if you truly listened to yourself today?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/jo-robinson-howarth-81b498401/🌐 http://thehappinessclub.co.uk💭 What changes when we stop chasing happiness and start learning how to meet all of life?If something is shifting in your business, leadership or growth journey, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #lifeleadershipbusiness #happinessclub #healing #mindfulness #hypnotherapy #mindbodysoul #forgiveness

Leave people better than you found them | Relationships, trust & LinkedIn | Cullen Haynes

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Cullen Haynes, Director of Sales at Legal Home Loans Australia and author of The Laws of LinkedIn. To explore life, leadership, business, relationships, personal brand and why meaningful growth, whether in finance, LinkedIn or life itself, still comes back to trust, reputation and genuine human connection.Growing up, Cullen describes himself as naturally shy. It was his parents who introduced him to the work of Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn and many of the personal development thinkers who shaped his view of people, relationships and personal responsibility. Those early lessons eventually became a philosophy that still guides him today: "Leave everyone you meet better than you found them".I loved Cullen’s belief that trust is rarely built through expertise alone. It might open the door, yet trust is built through consistency, authenticity and how people experience you.We also spoke about building a business while raising a young family, protecting your energy, creating space to reset and why showing up consistently often matters far more than perfection.Towards the end of our conversation, a quote sitting behind Cullen captured the essence of everything we had discussed. It was from Ray Kroc:“Look after the customer and the business will take care of itself.”Many people are searching for shortcuts, and growth hacks, Cullen offered a timely reminder that business remains deeply human, relationships and reputation still matters most. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from chasing opportunities towards becoming the kind of person opportunities naturally gravitate towards. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that business growth comes primarily from tactics and transactions✨ The pressure to appear perfect before putting yourself out into the world✨ The assumption that relationships can be replaced by automation and technologyUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine networking as genuine connection rather than business development✨ Create trust through consistency rather than self-promotion✨ Reshape personal brand around authenticity instead of performanceRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Show up before you feel ready✨ Build relationships before you need them✨ Focus on leaving people better than you found themACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ How are you showing up when nobody is watching?✨ What relationships are you investing in before you need a result?✨ Where could greater authenticity create greater opportunity?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/cullen-p-haynes/🏡 https://legalhomeloans.com.au/📘 https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0DMPGQ7VM💭 What changes when we stop chasing opportunities and focus on becoming someone people genuinely want to work with?If something is shifting in your business, leadership or growth start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #lifeleadershipbusiness #linkedin #relationshipbuilding #trust #networking #sales #businessgrowth

The undivided mind | Neuroscience, brand memory & human behaviour |

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Jonathan Rolley, Founder and CEO of Undivided, to explore neuroscience, branding, sales, decision making, AI and why so much marketing fails to influence the very people it is trying to reach. What made this conversation particularly memorable was that Jonathan's fascination with the human brain began long before his career in marketing. At just 18 years old, after moving from country Victoria to Melbourne to study industrial design, he was diagnosed with a brain tumour deep in the centre of his brain. Faced with his own mortality at such a young age, the future he thought he had planned suddenly disappeared.Looking back, Jonathan can trace much of his career and curiosity back to that moment. What began as a desire to design products people wanted eventually evolved into a much deeper question: why do people desire anything at all?I loved Jonathan's story about working at Harvey Norman, learning the mechanics of sales, he encountered a customer who dismissed every recommendation and simply said, "Sony has never let me down."In that moment, Jonathan realised something that would later become central to his work. The decision had already been made long before the customer entered the store. Trust had already been built, memory already existed and the brand had already earned its place in the customer's mind.At a time when organisations are rushing to embrace AI, automation and data-driven decision-making, Jonathan offered a timely reminder that while technology can process information at extraordinary speed, human judgement, memory, emotion and behaviour still sit at the centre of how decisions are made. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from trying to understand what people say they want towards understanding how people actually think, feel and choose. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Most decisions happen long before conscious awareness✨ Brands are built in memory, not simply messaging✨ Human behaviour often contradicts what people say they wantUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine marketing through how people actually think and choose✨ Create messages that build memory before asking for action✨ Reshape brand strategy around human behaviour, not assumptionsRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build trust before expecting preference✨ Use neuroscience to strengthen creative decisions✨ Use AI as a tool for leverage without outsourcing judgementACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you outsourcing thinking instead of developing it?✨ What does your brand truly own in memory?✨ Are you communicating to how people think or how you wish they thought?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathanrolley/🌐 https://www.undivided.com.au💭 If most decisions happen before conscious awareness, what does that mean for the way we lead, market, communicate and build trust? If something is shifting in your business, leadership, growth, start with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #neuromarketing #brandstrategy #consumerbehaviour #humanbehaviour #decisionmaking #storytelling #insideouttransformation

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Eric Dunn, Co-Founder of Here Be Dragons, to explore storytelling, creativity, brand, leadership and what happens when we have the courage to venture beyond the familiar edges of what we already know. What made this conversation particularly memorable was a story from the middle of the Pacific Ocean and I quite literally felt like I was there.During an 18-day sailing journey, Eric found himself staring at a navigation chart and moving between two perspectives. Zoomed out, he was a tiny dot in the vastness of the ocean and the planet. Zoomed in, the relationship with the person beside him became everything. That experience reshaped how he thinks about leadership, strategy, creativity, relationships and the role brands play in people’s lives.Together we explored storytelling, creative risk, AI, advertising, client relationships, collaboration and why the strongest brands move beyond transactions into something deeper, creating meaning, belief and genuine connection. What resonated most for me was Eric’s reflection that in the middle of nothingness, there can be extraordinary clarity.Out on the Pacific, far from deadlines, notifications, performance metrics and constant noise, he discovered something many of us have forgotten. We do not always find our best ideas by doing more.Sometimes we find them by creating enough space to see what truly matters. At a time when many brands are becoming increasingly optimised, automated and predictable, Eric offered a timely reminder that connection rarely comes from playing it safe. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from brand as transaction towards brand as relationship, meaning and human connection, where creativity becomes less about optimisation and more from being willing to explore the undiscovered spaces. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ The belief that data alone creates meaningful connection✨ The pressure to optimise creativity until every brand feels the same✨ The need to have every answer before taking creative risksUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine brand as something people feel, not simply buy✨ Create space for curiosity, surprise and exploration✨ Reshape client relationships around trust, empathy and collaborationRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build stories that turn buyers into believers✨ Use AI as a tool without losing the human edge✨ Invite people into the creative process earlierACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where has your thinking become too safe or predictable?✨ What clarity might emerge if you stepped away from the noise?✨ What horizon are you being called to explore next?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/eric-dunn-7958853/🌐 https://herebedragons.com💭 What changes when we stop trying to control every outcome and allow ourselves to explore beyond the horizon? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #brandstrategy #storytelling #creativity #humanconnection #herebedragons #nonlinear #highflow

Bringing humanity back to work | Employee experience & Leadership edit | Brandi Copeland

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Brandi Copeland to explore life, leadership, employee experience and the courage it takes to leave a successful corporate career to build something you genuinely believe the world needs. After years leading employee experience initiatives inside the likes of The Walt Disney Company and NBC Universal, Brandi saw the same pattern emerging: somewhere between strategy and execution, the human experience was being lost. That realisation led her to found The Employee Experience Edit, helping organisations rebuild how people actually experience work.Together we explored leadership, AI, workplace culture, manager capability, trust, founder life and what happens when organisations become so focused on performance that they forget the people responsible for creating it.What stood out most was Brandi’s conviction that employee experience is not a “nice to have”. As she put it: “Happy employees are an excellent business strategy.”Brandi shared that around 70% of an employee’s experience is directly connected to how they are treated by their manager. Yet many organisations continue promoting high performers into leadership positions without equipping them to lead people effectively, creating a growing disconnect between what leaders believe employees are experiencing and what employees are actually living every day.I loved Brandi’s simple and powerful call to action: Bring humanity back to work. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from managing people as resources towards creating environments where people can genuinely shine their brightest. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Promoting performance without preparing people to lead✨ Treating people as resources rather than humans✨ Chasing productivity while neglecting connectionUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine leadership as a skill that must be developed✨ Create workplaces where employee experience is everyone’s responsibility✨ Reshape AI into a tool that supports people rather than replaces themRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Train managers before they lead teams✨ Build employee experience into business strategy✨ Use technology to create capacity for more human connectionACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What assumptions are you making about how people experience your organisation?✨ Where are good intentions creating unintended employee experiences?✨ Are you building a culture people want to stay in, or one they eventually leave?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/brandi-copeland-sphr-46791453/🌐 https://theemployeeexperienceedit.com✍️ https://employeeexperienceedit.substack.com💭 What changes when we stop treating employee experience as a people problem and start recognising it as a business strategy? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business or organisational design, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #employeeexperience #leadership #founderjourney

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Sarah Romanko to explore life, leadership, venture capital and what happens when feeling different becomes the very thing that shapes your purpose.Sarah is an investor at Geek Ventures, a venture firm backing immigrant founders building the next generation of companies. We had quite a vulnerable woman to woman share. Growing up with ongoing health challenges, Sarah often found herself navigating experiences that made her feel different from those around her. While others were out socialising, she was frequently recovering, learning and searching for places where she felt she belonged. Rather than allowing those experiences to limit her, they became the foundation for how she now shows up in venture capital. We went discussed access, storytelling, fundraising, AI, founder resilience, women in venture and why some of the most valuable perspectives often come from people who have never quite fit the traditional mould. I loved Sarah's belief that opportunity often begins with a single person choosing to open a door.Early in her own journey, someone gave her a chance, offered guidance and asked her to pay it forward. That simple act has gone on to shape how she mentors founders, supports emerging investors and creates pathways for people who may not otherwise see themselves represented in the venture ecosystem. At a time when many industries still reward polished appearances and conventional pathways, Sarah offered a refreshing reminder that authenticity, curiosity and lived experience may be far more valuable than fitting someone else's definition of success. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from trying to fit established pathways towards recognising that our differences, experiences and challenges often become the source of our greatest contribution. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Feeling different does not mean you do not belong✨ Adversity often shapes perspective, resilience and purpose✨ Opportunity can begin with a single person choosing to believe in youUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine non-traditional backgrounds as an advantage rather than a limitation✨ Create access by opening doors for others as you move forward✨ Reshape networking from transactional interactions into genuine relationshipsRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build authentic relationships before you need them✨ Use storytelling to communicate vision, purpose and possibility✨ Focus on creating value rather than fitting predefined expectationsACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where have you been trying to fit a mould that was never designed for you?✨ Which experiences have shaped strengths you may be overlooking?✨ How could you create access for someone else this week?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/sarahromanko/🌐 https://geek.vc/pitch💭 What if the thing that makes you different is also the thing that makes you valuable? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #womeninvc #founders #authenticleadership #humanpotential #geekventures #nonlinear

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Martin Rigby to explore life, leadership, entrepreneurship, venture capital and what it means to invest in human potential in a world increasingly obsessed with prediction, certainty and control. Together we explored innovation ecosystems, founder autonomy, uncertainty, AI and why creating the conditions for possibility may matter more than trying to predict outcomes.Martin is Managing Director of ET Capital, a Cambridge-based venture firm, from one of the world’s most established innovation ecosystems. What made this conversation particularly compelling was Martin’s perspective from both sides of the table. Before founding ET Capital, Martin spent nearly a decade building and running his own digital music company after beginning his career in venture capital. That experience fundamentally reshaped how he understood entrepreneurship.I loved Martin’s challenge to one of venture capital’s most enduring assumptions: that investors can reliably predict who will succeed. As Martin reflected on the thinking behind the Cambridge Venture Index, he posed a question:“If active fund managers cannot consistently pick winners in public markets, where there is enormous amounts of information available, why do we think venture capitalists can consistently predict winners in much messier early-stage environments?”Drawing on decades of experience Martin questioned whether prediction itself may be the wrong objective in environments defined by uncertainty, experimentation and constant change. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from trying to predict and control outcomes towards creating environments where people, ideas and ecosystems can evolve, adapt, flourish and win over time. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Great ecosystems emerge through diversity rather than concentration✨ Entrepreneurship is a deeply human journey, not simply a financial exercise✨ Many successful founders do not fit traditional organisational structuresUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine venture capital as support rather than control✨ Create environments where founders are trusted to lead✨ Reshape uncertainty from something to eliminate into something to work withRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build ecosystems rather than searching for individual winners✨ Focus on enabling talent rather than directing it✨ Allow experimentation, adaptation and learning to shape future outcomesACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where in your life are you trying to control what cannot be predicted?✨ What conditions help people perform at their best?✨ Are you building around certainty, or creating space for possibility?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/martinprigby/🌐 https://etcapital.com💭 What changes when we stop trying to predict winners and start creating the conditions for them to emerge? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #flowdrivenvc #venturecapital #cambridgeventureindex #entrepreneurship #innovation #nonlinear

The cost of carrying everything | Leadership, authority drift & burnout | Laura Joy

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Laura Joy to explore life, leadership, burnout and what happens when responsibility quietly becomes part of our identity.Laura is a leadership strategist and founder of Laura Joy Ltd., working with high-performing leaders, particularly women, who are carrying far more than anyone realises while often receiving far less recognition than they deserve.Laura shared her own journey from corporate leadership, international relocation and building a successful career, through to a period of severe burnout that ultimately landed her in intensive care. Like many high performers, she believed she could keep carrying more, pushing harder, another gear, until her body forced a different conversation. We explored burnout, leadership, organisational design, AI, the future of work and Laura’s concept of Authority Drift; the point where responsibility continues to grow, yet authority, recognition and influence fail to keep pace. What resonated most for me was the idea that many leadership challenges are not capability challenges at all, they are identity challenges.Over time, many of us, myself included, become attached to being the reliable one, the strong one, the person who always says yes, solves the problem or carries the weight. Eventually those roles become so familiar that we stop questioning whether they still serve us.What struck me most was Laura’s observation that what she has termed Authority Drift; is rarely just a structural or organisational problem. It often begins much earlier through the identities we adopt and the responsibilities we continually accept. The Shape Shift In MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from leadership built around over-functioning, proving and carrying everything, towards leadership grounded in clarity, sustainable performance, self-awareness and the courage to redefine success on our own terms. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Burnout often begins long before we recognise it✨ Responsibility can quietly outgrow authority✨ High performance and over-functioning are not the same thingUNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine leadership beyond carrying everything yourself✨ Create healthier boundaries between responsibility and self-worth✨ Reshape success from constant proving into sustainable performanceRELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build authority through clarity rather than control✨ Create organisations that empower rather than deplete people✨ Develop leadership practices that support long-term wellbeing and impactACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What are you carrying that is no longer yours to hold?✨ Where has responsibility outgrown your authority?✨ What would leadership look like if success did not cost your sanity or your Saturday?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurajoy/🌐 https://laurajoy.co.uk💭 What if the next level of leadership is not about carrying more, but learning what to let go of?If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #authoritydrift #burnout #futureofwork #womeninleadership #identity #insideouttransformation #highflow

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with James Bitanga from Reapra to explore life, leadership, business, investing and the deeper question of who we become through the organisations we build.James is a Next Culture Enabler at Reapra, focused on helping entrepreneurs build financially sustainable businesses to solve long-term systemic problems.James shared his journey from law, family expectations and a life that looked successful from the outside in. That journey ultimately led him to Reapra, where questions of learning, self-authorship, culture and long-term industry building sit at the centre of how founders are supported. We explored learning organisations, adult development theory, conscious capital, future industries and why many of the challenges founders face are not simply business challenges at all. They are often identity challenges that emerge as people outgrow inherited definitions of success, leadership and even themselves. What resonated most for me was the idea that organisations may need to evolve in much the same way people do. We spend a great deal of time talking about scaling businesses, products and performance, yet far less time exploring the assumptions, beliefs and narratives sitting underneath them. One question James posed for leaders was: "When are you stepping down?", and not because of succession planning, governance or exit strategy...The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from building organisations around roles, titles and inherited definitions of success towards building future industries through identity, learning, long-term thinking and organisations capable of evolving beyond the founder alone. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting Go)✨ Founder identity is often shaped by family, society and inherited expectations✨ Long-term systemic problems require longer time horizons than traditional business cycles allow✨ Organisations are living systems, not static structuresUNLEARN (Create, Reimagine & Reshape)✨ Culture is not something you install, it is something you continuously become✨ Learning may be a more valuable organisational capability than efficiency✨ The strongest businesses often emerge when founders challenge inherited assumptions about successRELEARN (Test & Implement)✨ Use research and practice together rather than treating them as separate disciplines✨ Build organisations that can evolve beyond the founder's current identity✨ Create environments where learning, adaptation and self-authorship can flourishACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & Reset)✨ Who are you becoming through the business you are building?✨ Which inherited beliefs are still shaping your decisions?✨ If you stepped away tomorrow, what would your organisation become without you?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/jamesbitanga/🌐 https://reapra.com/💭 What changes when we stop asking only what are we building, and start asking who are we becoming? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #flowdrivenvc #nextculture #consciouscapital #systemsthinking #nonlinear #identity

Beyond the linear path | Investing, possibility & founder conviction | Ryan Else

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Ryan Else to explore life, leadership, business, investing and what it means to keep building when the outcome is far from certain.Ryan is Founder and Investor at Roadster Capital, a deep tech venture fund backing founders working across advanced computing, quantum, semiconductors, robotics, applied AI and the next generation of engineering-led innovation. What made this conversation so interesting was the connection between Ryan’s investing philosophy and the experiences that shaped it. Before Roadster Capital, Ryan spent time working as a featured extra in films including The Pursuit of Happyness, where he worked alongside Will Smith and spent time with Chris Gardner, whose story inspired the film.Years later, those conversations about adversity, perseverance, self-belief and following your own path still influence how Ryan approaches investing, founder relationships and life itself. We explored imposter syndrome, founder resilience, raising a first fund, deep tech, quantum computing, pattern recognition and why some of the most meaningful journeys begin long before anyone else can see where they might lead. What resonated throughout our conversation was the reminder that some of the most important decisions we make happen long before there is evidence they will work. Long before the investment, the outcome or the validation arrives. Whether we are building a company, raising a fund or navigating a major life transition, there are moments where all we really have is conviction, curiosity and the courage to keep taking the next step. Perhaps that is the real pursuit of possibility. The Shape Shift in MotionAt the heart of this conversation was a shift from needing certainty towards developing conviction. A reminder that some of the most meaningful outcomes in life, leadership, business and investing emerge when we stop forcing the future and begin listening more deeply to what is already unfolding.LEARN (Letting go)✨ Success rarely follows a linear path✨ Imposter syndrome does not disappear simply because you achieve more✨ Building something meaningful often requires moving before certainty arrivesUNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Reimagine possibility as something created through action✨ Create space to listen with intent before reacting✨ Reshape uncertainty from something to avoid into something to work withRELEARN (Test & implement)✨ Build foundations before chasing scale✨ Trust repetition, discipline and consistency✨ Focus on what compounds over time rather than what delivers immediate validationACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ Where are you waiting for certainty before taking the next step?✨ What possibility are you still being called towards?✨ What becomes available when you stop forcing the outcome?Contact Details🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/ryanelse/🌐 http://roadstercapital.com💭 What possibility are you being invited to pursue, even if it is not obvious yet?If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #venturecapital #deeptech #founders #roadstercapital #resilience #nonlinear

The truth founders need to hear | Clarity, feedback & growth | Ron Shigeta

In this Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC conversation, I connected with Ron Shigeta, startup mentor, advisor, founder and operator, to explore what happens when scientific possibility, founder ambition and commercial reality collide. Having worked alongside more than 140 early-stage ventures across biotech, food tech and emerging technologies, Ron brings a rare perspective on what separates ideas that remain potential from those that successfully make the transition into the real world.I loved how, Ron challenged the assumption that great ideas are enough. Founders often spend years refining an idea, building technology, solving technical challenges and preparing for growth, yet the market ultimately responds to something much simpler: clarity. What emerged throughout our chat was not simply a conversation about startups, venture capital or innovation. It was a deeper exploration of feedback, self-awareness, founder identity, women in entrepreneurship, organisational culture and the often uncomfortable process of learning to see both ourselves and our businesses more clearly. Ron spoke openly about the importance of founder clarity, the ability to receive feedback without defensiveness, and why so many entrepreneurs focus on building products before truly understanding the people they are building them for.We also had a heart to heart on the realities facing women founders, the hidden dynamics that can exist within fundraising conversations, and why building a business often requires just as much personal growth as commercial growth. The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from focusing solely on ideas, innovation and possibility towards recognising that clarity, self-awareness and human connection are often the foundations that determine whether a venture succeeds or struggles. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting go)✨ Great ideas alone do not create successful businesses✨ Complexity often hides a lack of clarity✨ Feedback becomes difficult when identity is tied too tightly to the ideaUNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Reimagine pitching as creating understanding rather than impressing others✨ Create founder clarity before trying to create investor confidence✨ Reshape entrepreneurship from proving yourself to continuously learningRELEARN (Test & implement)✨ Build a simple, clear explanation of what you do and why it matters✨ Stay close to the market rather than assuming you already know the answer✨ Experience the business yourself before trying to outsource critical functionsACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ Can you clearly explain what you do in thirty seconds or less?✨ Where might feedback be showing you something you are not yet willing to see?✨ Are you building a product, or are you building genuine understanding?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/startupminute/🌐 https://iaccelerate.tech💭 What changes when founder clarity becomes the first thing you build? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#BeeFormless #FlowDrivenVC #Entrepreneurship #StartupCulture #WomenInBusiness #StartupMentor #BusinessGrowth #Innovation

The 40-year plan | family, conscious investing & build what lasts | John Frankel

In this Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC conversation, I connected with John Frankel, Founding Partner at ff Venture Capital, to explore life, leadership, investing and the power of compounding. What made this conversation particularly interesting was that it did not begin with venture capital, startups or artificial intelligence. It began with family.John spoke openly about getting married young, raising five children, becoming a grandfather many times over and why he believes people spend far more time planning their careers than they do planning the lives they actually want to live. We discussed the idea that our twenties and thirties are not only years for building careers and wealth, they are years where relationships, skills, networks, experiences and family can compound too.John challenged the idea of focusing solely on two-year and five-year plans, encouraging listeners to think much further ahead. What happens when we start making decisions through the lens of a forty-year plan instead?Throughout our discussion, he kept returning to the difference between consciously shaping a life and simply drifting into one.One of the questions John kept returning to was whether people are consciously making decisions about their future or simply drifting into them. From fertility and family through to founder psychology, venture capital, physical AI, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies, this conversation challenged conventional definitions of success and building something that lasts.I loved John's view on successful founders, often "delusionally optimistic", the importance of high-trust relationships in venture capital, and why there has never been a more exciting time to start a company than right now.The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from measuring success primarily through career progression, financial outcomes and external achievement towards recognising the long-term compounding effects of family, relationships, trust, agency and the choices we make throughout life. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting go)✨ Success compounds through more than money alone✨ Family, relationships and life decisions deserve the same intentionality as career planning✨ Founders often need to believe in a future others cannot yet seeUNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Reimagine success through a forty-year lens rather than a quarterly one✨ Create agency rather than drifting into major life decisions✨ Reshape venture capital as a relationship built on trust, not simply transactionsACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ What are you currently compounding in your life?✨ Are your decisions aligned to a two-year plan or a forty-year plan?✨ What would change if you thought in decades rather than quarters?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnfrankel/🌐 https://ffvc.com💭 Are you consciously building the life you want, or simply hoping it arrives? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #flowdrivenvc #ffvc #founders #startupgrowth #consciousinvesting #lifeleadershipbusiness #family #compounding #entrepreneurship

Building the next generation of founders | Leadership, ambition & self-belief | Brandon Bernklau

At 24 years old, Brandon Bernklau is a next gen leader in hos own right, already operating globally across capital, consulting and next-generation company building, while dedicating much of his time to helping other young entrepreneurs turn ideas into action and vision into reality. In this Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC conversation, we explored entrepreneurship, leadership, ambition, AI, founder psychology, personal growth and what it means to build something meaningful in a world moving faster than ever. What I appreciated throughout our discussion was not simply Brandon's ambition, although setting a goal of building towards a billion-dollar valuation by the age of thirty is certainly ambitious. It was the intention sitting underneath it.Brandon spoke openly about wanting to help shape the next generation of founders, creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs while building something meaningful of his own.One thing that made me smile early in our chat was Brandon apologising as life unfolded in the background during his first virtual podcast interview. As someone with twenty-five more years of lived experience than Brandon, I found myself reminding him that the older I get, the less interested I become in perfection and the more interested I become in authenticity. We also discussed the assumptions that can emerge across generations, from age bias towards younger founders who are still proving themselves, through to the experience and perspective that only time can provide. We instead returned to the value each generation can bring when experience, fresh thinking and human connection come together.I loved Brandon's wise belief that leadership is not simply about what we build for ourselves, but also about the opportunities we create for others. The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from ambition as ego towards ambition as responsibility, from theory into action, and from individual success towards building the next generation of founders, leaders and entrepreneurs with more courage, clarity and good power. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting go)✨ Self-doubt often comes from fear rather than truth✨ A big vision needs a meaningful reason behind it✨ Founders need to remember why they started before the difficult days arriveUNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Reimagine ambition as contribution rather than personal achievement✨ Create momentum by moving from theory into action✨ Reshape power as responsibility, voice and impactRELEARN (Test & implement)✨ Build the blueprint before expecting the outcome✨ Surround yourself with people who believe in the vision and challenge the execution✨ Keep returning to the reason you are building when the road becomes uncertainACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ Why are you really building what you are building?✨ Where is self-doubt asking you to stop before you have truly started?✨ How could your ambition become a force for positive impact in the lives of others?🔗 https://linkedin.com/in/brandonldg🌐 https://www.linkedin.com/company/bernklauco/💭 What is one vision, idea or ambition you keep returning to, and what would happen if you stopped doubting your ability to bring it to life?#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #flowdrivenvc #leadership #entrepreneurship #founders #nextgeneration #businessgrowth #highflow #personalgrowth #ai #venturecapital

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Michael Walker to explore life, leadership, business, investing and what happens when patience, connection and long-term thinking are allowed to shape the outcome.Michael is CEO and CIO of Max Partners Australia, alongside this, he is also Principal Owner and Winemaker at Faisan Estate Wines. What I appreciated throughout this discussion was Michael’s perspective on opportunity and how often it arrives through unexpected doors. We spoke about Michael's journey in private equity, entrepreneurship, family business, leadership, capital raising, AI and global investment opportunities, and for me it highlighted the idea that some of the biggest shifts in our lives and careers are rarely planned. There was also a quiet optimism throughout the conversation. While industries, technologies and markets continue to evolve, trust, judgement and the quality of the people around us remain as important as ever.I loved the parallels between investing and winemaking, they are far from the same, yet both require judgement, patience and an understanding that some things simply cannot be rushed. The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from focusing solely on transactions, outcomes and growth towards recognising that sustainable success is often built through relationships, timing and trust.Whether building a business, raising capital, developing leadership teams or creating a great vintage, experience and patience can matter just as much as strategy itself. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting go)✨ Not every opportunity can be forced into existence✨ Relationships often create value long before results appear✨ Strong leadership remains one of the greatest assets any business can buildUNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Reimagine networking as building genuine relationships rather than collecting contacts✨ Create opportunities by consistently putting yourself in the room✨ Reshape growth through people, trust and connection, not capital aloneRELEARN (Test & implement)✨ Invest in relationships before you need them✨ Build leadership teams capable of carrying future growth✨ Stay open to opportunities that arrive from unexpected directionsACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ Which relationships are quietly shaping your future?✨ Where are you waiting for an opportunity instead of creating one?✨ What would change if you invested in connection as intentionally as growth?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/michael-walker-34b05812/🌐 https://maxpartners.com.au/🍷 https://faisanestate.com.au/✍️ http://100wines.substack.com/💭 What opportunity might emerge if you simply kept showing up?If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #businessgrowth #investing #privateequity #familybusiness #winemaking #connection #nonlinear

While much of the venture world gravitates towards deep tech, AI and enterprise software, Danny has built Sticker around a different belief: understanding people is just as important as understanding technology. What I loved about this conversation was how often we returned to the people side of business. We spoke about entrepreneurship, founder resilience, consumer psychology, storytelling, venture capital, women in investing, brand building and the realities of starting again after decades of experience.Danny shared his journey from being a partner in some of Israel’s largest venture capital firms to becoming a founder himself through Sticker Ventures. It was a reminder that no amount of experience removes uncertainty when you choose to build something new.We discussed consumer businesses and why they continue to matter in an increasingly technology-driven world. As Danny explained, people are emotional, we connect through stories, experiences, identity and belonging. Danny’s observation was on point:“People are not the side dish. They’re the main dish.”The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from treating consumers as transactions towards seeing them as people. What I appreciated most throughout our conversation was that while we spoke about science, innovation and investing, the discussion continually returned to people. We explored precision medicine, breakthrough therapies, rare diseases, leadership, conscious capital and what it takes to move complex science from the laboratory to the patient. There was also a fascinating conversation around the transition from CEO to investor. I loved how Luc described it as moving from parent to grandparent, shifting from direct control and decision-making towards guidance, trust and stewardship. For all the discussion around biotech, investing and innovation, I found myself coming back to something close to my heart and my family’s experience navigating my dad’s complex and terminal cancer. I loved how our chat moved beyond food alone into systems, cycles, infrastructure, culture, expectations and the reality that people, industries and economies are constantly evolving. We spoke about the protein transition, why our current dependence on animal agriculture is placing enormous pressure on land use, and how food innovation sits inside a much larger ecosystem shift. Not simply around what we eat, though how we produce, consume, waste and understand the true impact of food itself. There was also the venture capital current state of play, expectation gaps and the human dynamics underneath investing. Kim shared examples from private equity and emerging markets where misalignment between investors, founders and local partners created complexity that numbers alone could never solve. We really did cover a lot; optimism, family, food security, climate, culture, interconnection and why solving complex problems will require a new generation of leaders capable of bringing diverse perspectives, disciplines and lived experiences together. The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from outdated food systems, misaligned capital and short-term thinking towards conscious investment, regenerative innovation and a deeper understanding of how interconnected our choices really are. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting go)✨ Systems do not stay fixed simply because they once worked ✨ Food choices are never separate from land, health and climate ✨ Capital can fall short when human dynamics and expectations are misaligned UNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Reimagine food production beyond dependence on animal agriculture ✨ Create investment models that support long-term ecosystem transformation ✨ Reshape how we understand sustainability through regeneration, efficiency and conscious consumption RELEARN (Test & implement)✨ Support technologies that improve how food is produced and consumed ✨ Stay aware of the real impact behind everyday choices ✨ Build with the understanding that economies, markets and people are always evolving ACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ Where are you assuming a system will stay the same? ✨ What small food choice could become more intentional? ✨ How can capital, innovation and human behaviour move in better alignment?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/kim-anders-odhner 🌐 https://www.unovis.vc💭 What changes when we stop treating food as separate from the future of health, climate and humanity? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic: https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #unovis #regenerativefood #consciouscapital #nonlinear

Not a lack of ideas, talent or opportunity, though the growing and emerging complexity that emerges as businesses scale.Marian has spent her career guiding companies navigate that transition, from startup through to IPO, and shared powerful insights around mission, focus, execution and why the best founders are usually obsessed with solving a problem rather than simply becoming founders. We explored the realities of startup life, risk tolerance, founder psychology and why building a company requires far more than a great idea. Marian spoke openly about the difference between wanting to be a founder and being driven to solve a problem that simply won’t leave you alone. There was also a fascinating discussion around FemTech, climate innovation, food security, AI, women founders and the growing investment flowing into technologies designed to solve some of society’s most pressing challenges. One of the strongest ideas from our chat was Marian’s simple yet powerful framework: Good. Difficult. Different.Good. What is working?Difficult. What is challenging us?Different. What needs to change? For me, this was a timely reminder as a founder myself that momentum rarely comes from doing more. In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, I connected with Jess Graham on so many levels, from dogs pj's, women's rushing syndrome to exploring AI, agentic commerce, identity, discernment, human choice and what happens when discovery itself slowly starts disappearing inside an increasingly machine-led economy. Jess is Founder of Banquet, a consultancy platform exploring the future of commerce, branding culture and human behaviour as algorithms begin making decisions on behalf of consumers before humans even realise it is happening. We went deep into humanity: taste, sovereignty, sensory experience, embodiment and then asked the question whether we are slowly optimising away the very friction that makes life rich and meaningful in the first place. So what then happens when AI agents start choosing products, brands and experiences for humans automatically, often without consumers ever forming an emotional relationship with the brand itself.. we get a beige society and AI starts eating the banquet. There was also a really important point around AI ethics, safety and sovereignty, particularly for women. Jess spoke openly about the AI safety documentary she is currently producing and the growing concerns around bias, deepfakes, privacy and the lack of women participating in many of the conversations shaping the future of this technology. I loved Jess’ reminder that life is meant to be experienced fully, not endlessly optimised, “Stop. Join the banquet. What I loved about this discussion was what happens when founders stop building purely from social conditioning, external validation and extraction, and start building from alignment instead. As we joined the recording, the clock hit 11:11, naturally leading us into a conversation around synchronicity, Carl Jung and the subtle signals that begin appearing when people start paying closer attention to life itself. Before Build3, Varun had already built and scaled multiple successful companies, at just 38 years old, Varun was simultaneously dealing with serious health issues. What followed became a complete recalibration of life itself, leaving the company he had founded and removing himself from environments and energies that no longer felt aligned. There was also a deeply emotional layer around grief, spirituality and the death of Varun’s mother during COVID and he spoke openly about searching for meaning afterwards, “The result of the journey is irrelevant. But having the ability to traverse this journey every day with grace is our privilege.”There was this continual reminder that entrepreneurship itself is a superpower, and it can either be used extractively or consciously. The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from externally conditioned success, extractive entrepreneurship towards soul alignment, conscious creation and building businesses that allow us to feel more connected to ourselves, each other and the planet itself. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting go)✨ Success without alignment eventually creates suffering✨ The body often signals misalignment before the mind accepts it✨ Entrepreneurship can either extract from life or contribute to itUNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Create businesses that better the mind, body and earth✨ Reimagine founders as energetic beings, not productivity machines✨ Reshape entrepreneurship through community, wellbeing and consciousnessRELEARN (Test & implement)✨ Build environments that support the whole human, not just the business✨ Allow intuition and intellect to coexist together✨ Stay close to energies, people and ecosystems that feel alignedACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ What is your body trying to tell you right now?✨ Are you building from conditioning or alignment?✨ What changes when business becomes part of healing rather than separation?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/varunchawla1/🌐 https://www.build3.org/💭 What becomes possible when we start building from soul alignment instead? If something is shifting for you in leadership, business, investing or personal growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift:https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #consciousentrepreneurship #soulalignment #build3

Investment, volatility & don’t let one point define the match | Paul Rubens

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO & VC Podcast, Paul Rubens joined me from his car straight after coaching tennis, to explore life, leadership, investing and business from the inside out. This became the perfect entry point into the whole discussion. We moved between sport, investing, business building and the emotional discipline required to stay clear when markets, people and conditions keep shifting around you.We spoke about the similarities between tennis and investing, through the lived reality of recovering after a bad point, reading the conditions in front of you, adjusting without spiralling emotionally and understanding that one mistake, one market movement or one difficult cycle does not define the whole match.Paul is Founder of Tamarack Investment Partners and has spent more than two decades building and scaling investment management businesses across Asia. Paul explained the investor-manager relationships, institutional trust, market volatility and the importance of infrastructure, consistency and transparency when building long-term confidence with investors. Underneath it all was this continual reminder that investing is never purely analytical, it is relational, temperament and timing matters. Paul, noted the people who navigate uncertainty best are not the loudest in the room, are the ones able to stay clear enough to keep responding thoughtfully as conditions evolve. There was also a fascinating discussion around Asia itself and how different markets respond culturally to uncertainty, opportunity and long-term capital allocation. Rather than chasing every short-term movement, Paul spoke a lot about patience, perspective and staying close to fundamentals even whilst broader conditions continue shifting around you.The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from reactive decision-making, emotional volatility and short-term thinking towards perspective, resilience and disciplined leadership through uncertainty. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting go)✨ One difficult cycle does not define the entire match✨ Markets often amplify emotional reactions and fear✨ Long-term trust compounds through consistency and transparencyUNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Create space to respond thoughtfully rather than react emotionally✨ Reimagine resilience as the ability to reset after setbacks✨ Reshape leadership through perspective, steadiness and adaptabilityRELEARN (Test & implement)✨ Stay present with the point directly in front of you✨ Build infrastructure and trust slowly over time✨ Read changing conditions without losing clarity or convictionACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ Where are emotions shaping your decision-making?✨ Are you reacting to volatility or learning from it?✨ What changes when you stop letting one point define the match?🔗 linkedin.com/in/paultrubens🌐 tamarackinvest.com💭 What becomes possible when we stop reacting emotionally to volatility and start responding with more perspective, patience and clarity? If something is shifting for you in leadership, investing, business or growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic.https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenvc #capitalmarkets #marketcycles #antifragile #investormindset #nonlinear #matchpoint

Animation, behaviour change & the future of frontline learning | Marcos Cevasco

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I chatted with Marcos Cevasco to explore life, leadership, business and technology from the inside out through animation, behaviour change, human learning and the future of frontline education in an increasingly AI-driven world.Marcos is Founder & CEO of RogerThat, a Gen-AI training platform helping frontline workers learn how to do their jobs more safely, effectively and confidently. What made this discussion so fascinating was the way Marcos blends animation, emotional psychology and technology together to rethink how humans actually learn and change behaviour, particularly inside high-risk frontline industries where communication, safety and decision-making directly impact lives every single day.Beginning his career in industrial design before moving into animation, gaming and visual storytelling, Marcos shared how studying Pixar-style character development completely reshaped the way he understood learning itself. Marcus has an insightful belief that humans naturally prejudge other humans, though rarely prejudge animated characters, allowing animation to lower resistance and create deeper emotional engagement and trust. There's a growing gap between traditional workforce training systems and the reality of how younger generations consume information today, particularly across frontline industries where many workers have never had meaningful access to formal education pathways at all. What emerged was a focus on expanding understanding, opportunity and access through emotionally intelligent learning experiences. The Shape Shift in motionAt the heart of this episode was a shift from static workforce training, rigid education systems and technology-first thinking towards emotionally intelligent learning, human-centred design and behaviour change built through creativity, accessibility and connection. This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:LEARN (Letting go)✨ Humans learn emotionally, not simply through information overload✨ Traditional workforce training often fails younger generations entirely✨ Frontline workers are frequently excluded from meaningful education pathwaysUNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)✨ Create learning systems that feel visual, adaptive and emotionally engaging✨ Reimagine AI as a tool for expanding human capability rather than replacing people✨ Reshape workforce learning around human behaviour instead of outdated systemsRELEARN (Test & implement)✨ Use animation and storytelling to reduce resistance and improve learning retention✨ Stay close to real-world human problems rather than abstract technology trends✨ Build systems that adapt to people rather than forcing people to adapt to systemsACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)✨ How do humans actually learn best?✨ Are your systems designed for efficiency or genuine understanding?✨ What changes when technology becomes more emotionally intelligent?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/marcosluis/🌐 rogerthat.la💭 What becomes possible when learning feels human again? If something is shifting for you in leadership, innovation or business growth, begin with a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic.https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #animation #futureofwork #behaviourchange #frontlineworkers #rogerthat
