She grew up in a family of jazz, gospel, classical and cajun musicians, and her writing is strongly influenced by her eclectic South Louisiana heritage. She has a BS from Louisiana State University, and a master’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, New Orleans. She has served the church in music for more than forty years, and she is currently the Director of Music Ministry at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.L

She grew up in a family of jazz, gospel, classical and cajun musicians, and her writing is strongly influenced by her eclectic South Louisiana heritage. She has a BS from Louisiana State University, and a master’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, New Orleans. She has served the church in music for more than forty years, and she is currently the Director of Music Ministry at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.L
