Women Deflecting Gratitude

Don’t put a label on me
We label others all the time. It helps us to compartmentalize situations and behaviors. Often, we're actually communicating something about ourselves by saying, "I'm not that." However, the fact that we label people by their behavior and characteristics can end up limiting our curiosity about a person.

Establishing boundaries
As I continue on with this journey, I want to let my listeners know it is ok to set boundaries. You must protect your peace, let people know that they can not run over you or mistreat your. You will not allow it. We are all adults and respecting others, their space and time is how we establish those boundaries. Special guest/Lawrence B. (Our oldest)

The word for the day is Resilience. When you are resilient you are able to withstand adversity and bounce back and grow despite life’s challenges. Interviewing my Mother who suffers from Depression!!!
I believe I truly inherited anxiety from her, but the difference between her and I is, I don’t let it define me!!! I speak positively and I get along with pretty much everybody. My mom has times were she feels like people are against her, and she always thinks people are gossiping about her. It is a mind thing, as you can tell, we’re more like Best Friends instead of Mother and daughter. She has always looked for my support and truth be told I’ve kept her going for so long when she was down at her worst. That’s my mother y’all, and I will always have her back!!! A mother’s love can’t be touched....it’s unconditional.
