Redbull bolted on an almighty upgrade as power figured of Redbull met to discuss drivers, was a 2nd place enough to sell the next title dream to Max. And Williams, is the heat back on? 4 on the bounce as the Kimi train rolls, but its not all aboard as George seems to not have a ticket. Mclaren missed thier flight to Canada and turned up with all the wrong gear. It was a weekend of epic failures, line through it, on to the next. A silver war is brewing, elbows out for George and Kimi was chucking it wherever the car fit. Three out of 3/3 the Mercs are on top, the kid Kimi is flying and there are dramas up and down the grid. Oscar started, and what a start it was, did the safetycar rob him or was P2 the reality? Round one in the books, the sand bags are off Merc are out front and it was a silver arrows 1/2. A strong recovery from Kimi after a disaster in FP3. But credit where credit is due, it was a mature drive from the young Italian. Ferrari put up a fight and could match it with the Mercs. So maybe this could be the fight for the opening of the season. A new leader has emerged, and it's Norris by 1 pt. Oh boy what a finish we have. Lando was untouchable and has taken the title lead by 1 point, and who would have thought, with 4 to go we are this close. Bearman fell tantalisingly short of a podium in his drive of the year, a rookie flying under the radar and a future big fish of the sport.  And it was a close call for Marshall's and Lawson, a little bit more educating needed for some circuits. TIME EXTENSION Oscar takes another win, the 3rd driver in McLaren history to have a streak of 8 successive podiums. Steak have had a blinder, Bortoleto just missing Q3, but Hulkenberg was the man of the match. Is this the first sign of a transition to Audi? Alonso in the points, Stroll hit the wall, literally.
