Fight or Flight - The Austrian GP Review - Late Edition
A return serve from George and the title fight isn't all doom and gloom. Welcome to Austria. The Ferrari love was very much lost this round as last weeks winner in Hamilton failed to fire a shot and Leclerc likewise. Still more to come from Ferrari but it's not convincing....yet. Redbull bolted on an almighty upgrade as power figured of Redbull met to discuss drivers, was a 2nd place enough to sell the next title dream to Max. And Williams, is the heat back on? A promise of the future falling well short. Be careful what you wish for. All that and more of this weeks episode of BTRL.

338
Dare to Dream - The Barcelona-Catalunya GP Review
A resergence in red. Lewis, an 8th.....could it be? Mercedes have a chink in the armour, if the heat is on, the Merc engine is off. Is this the door slightly opening adjar for others? The RBs are quiety just going about their business, who has been the better driver if the season in your view, Lawson or Linblad? And a podium is returned, but have the FIA made the right call? All that and more of this weeks episode of BTRL.

337
Paying the Price - The Monaco GP Review
5 from 6. Can anyone stop this kid? Lewis has snuck up on us all, a quality drive and now 2nd in the championship. Don't sleep on Lewis. Mclaren and in a world of pain, treading water and looking like not making an impact on 2026. How the mighty have fallen. And it was a penalty shootout, the speed limiter was questioned and boy did some pay a hefty toll. What is your take on the issue? All that and more of this weeks episode of BTRL.

The Silver War - The Canadian GP Review
4 on the bounce as the Kimi train rolls, but its not all aboard as George seems to not have a ticket. Mclaren missed thier flight to Canada and turned up with all the wrong gear. It was a weekend of epic failures, line through it, on to the next. A silver war is brewing, elbows out for George and Kimi was chucking it wherever the car fit. Toto knows how to handle this, but do his chargers. And Franco, 6th. Oh boy! All that and more of this weeks episode of BTRL.
-
334
Teenage Dream - The Miami GP Review
A sensastion no more a contender at the door. Kimi takes yet another win and the F1 world is on notice. Max is back, a car that looks more under control and a haoly world champion, all the things we love. Mclaren is back, a double podium a happy Oscar and the reigning world champion is in form. And Aston finished a race again, but this time with 2 cars, thats it, thats the post. All that and more of this weeks episode of BTRL.

Mushroom Mayhem - The Japanese GP Review
Three out of 3/3 the Mercs are on top, the kid Kimi is flying and there are dramas up and down the grid. Oscar started, and what a start it was, did the safetycar rob him or was P2 the reality? Have Alpine got it right? Gasly certainly has a handle on things, the new engine and a solid understanding of the car, danger watch for the mid pack. And Aston finished a race....thats it, thats the post. All that and more of this weeks episode of BTRL.
-
331
Batteries Not Included - The Australian GP Review
Round one in the books, the sand bags are off Merc are out front and it was a silver arrows 1/2. A strong recovery from Kimi after a disaster in FP3. But credit where credit is due, it was a mature drive from the young Italian. Ferrari put up a fight and could match it with the Mercs. So maybe this could be the fight for the opening of the season. And Oscar.......yeah we will leave it at that. All that and more of this weeks episode of BTRL.

May The Best Man Win - The Qatar Grand Prix Review
And then there were 3, the first time in 15 years we have a title decider between 3. A Mclaren masterclass in fumbling. A strategy disaster that has almost put the nail in the coffin for Piastri. On the flip side a Redbull master class in strategy. Max is alive. Its on, its so on. And what role will Mercedes play in the finale, and Tsunoda, can he pull a Perez and become the new minister of defence? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

The Bear Essentials - The Mexican GP Review
A new leader has emerged, and it's Norris by 1 pt. Oh boy what a finish we have. Lando was untouchable and has taken the title lead by 1 point, and who would have thought, with 4 to go we are this close. Bearman fell tantalisingly short of a podium in his drive of the year, a rookie flying under the radar and a future big fish of the sport. And it was a close call for Marshall's and Lawson, a little bit more educating needed for some circuits. All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.
-
323
The Hunter and the Hunted - The US GP Review
Stay calm....it's happening. Max has arrived and yes it's now a 3 way fight. Oscar needs a win and needs one now, but where does it come? He is still in front which is the place to be but is time running out? The Rebull is flying, and we mean flying, 104 point deficit is now a mere 40....can he do it? And Ferrari looked the goods but is this just a flash in the pan ready for 2026. All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.
-
322
Happy Families - The Singapore GP Review
It's a team divided or so it seems at McLaren. Is it gloves off now the title is done and dusted for the constructors? It was a weekend to remember for George, a much deserved result for a man without a contract. Williams were on and then off as an incorrect DRS flap saw them disqualified from quali. Pushing the limits. And it was more pain for Alpine, a team in trouble and in free fall. What does 2026 hold? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

Back to the Max - The Italian GP Review
Sharing is caring at team Papya, but is this the right way to go racing? Fans are divided and heads are being scratched, are McLaren digging themselves a hole they cannot climb out? Antonelli had the riot act read to him by Toto as the young gun is now all but treading water? Is it time to take a step down and learn his craft? And it was an almost moment for Charles, the agro is out for us all to see and it seems to do the trick. But, it's too little to late, on to 2026. All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

Picking Up The Pieces - The 2025 Dutch Grand Prix Review
Pop goes the engine, and so to the single figure points gap. The Aussie stretches his legs in the title fight. It was an uncharacteristic technical issues from the Papya team, will this be the absolute turning point in the fight? Ferrari had a weekend to forget, hearts go out to the scarlette supporters, 9 rounds and 2025 is in the books. Another season to forget. And after 15 rounds its Hadja who takes an incredible 3rd place. Is it time for Hadjars dad to give Lewis a hug? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

All this plus much much more on this week's episode.

314
Revenge Tour - The Belgium GP Review
Revenge is a dish best served cold, and for Piastri the revenge tour has officially begun. One of the duels of the year between the McLaren men, it's advantage Oscar as we head to the almost, summer break. Sauber are marching on, this time it's Bortoletto. Get your credit cards ready, Audi is the place to be. And Nico Rosberg was off the chain, brandish, blunt and not afraid to ask the prickly questions, do we need more of this in the modern day broadcast? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

Penalty For Your Thoughts - The British GP Review
The Sauber party has begun, wow this is the form team of the month in our eyes, a rocket up the standings and suddenly all eyes are on 5th. After 239 attempts Hulk has his podium, one for the ages and all that bit sweeter, where does this rank in your all time podiums? Lando lands another blow, a 14pt swing in the Brits favour after a penalty denys Oscar. Is it alarm bells for the Aussie or just part of the fight? And it was a weekend to forget for Mercedes, Ferrari and Redbull, of the big 3 listed, who is pulling the pin on 2025 now? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

In Good Hands - The Austrian GP Review
A battle laden with respect at the Redbull Ring as Norris bounced back and Oscar looked to get even, Silverstone's stage is more than set, hold on to your hats. The Sauber resurgence lives on, Bortoletto first points, a double points finish and suddenly eyes are all turning to the green machine. Is 6th or even 5th in constructor more than just a dream? Williams had an absolute mare, a double DNF and opposing fortunes to the Sauber, has the fairytale season start come to an end? And Bernie returned this week, the old boss making his first appearance on the podium ever. The F1 supremo wasn't out of place on the dias. All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

Clean Up Isle 67 - The Canadian GP Review
Lap 67 was the moment the McLaren boys came together. Stay calm though because it's not as nasty as it seems. Hulk is back for another handful of points, whatever they have put on that Sauber is working, the question now is.... what is it? Norris put his hand up and took full responsibility, is this the new age racer attitude or a well-managed team. And it's the premier of the F1 movie this week, are you as excited as we are? This could be one for the ages. All the plus much much more on this week's episode of Beyond the Racing Line.

Reigning in Spain - The Spanish GP Review
TIME EXTENSION Oscar takes another win, the 3rd driver in McLaren history to have a streak of 8 successive podiums. Steak have had a blinder, Bortoleto just missing Q3, but Hulkenberg was the man of the match. Is this the first sign of a transition to Audi? Alonso in the points, Stroll hit the wall, literally. It's party time at Aston. Here's hoping for more points. And the driver seat swapper has not delivered this week. A few questions to now ask, is Yuki up to it? Has Colapinto added anything more than Doohan? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

The Rise of Franz Hermann - The Imola GP Review
FRANS HERMANN HAS ARRIVED....The double hat trick was not to be for Aussie Oscar, Monaco may be the pivotal moment for the season. What about Williams, are they now ahead of Ferrari in the packing order? The Alpine saga has taken a sour turn, fake news and attacks on Jack, is this well over the line and do fans need to take a step back? Ferrari are an enigma, what are you doing with the boys in red? Backing them, holding hope or have you put a line through the season?? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

Sound the Alarm - The Miami GP Review
A HATTRICK LIKE NO OTHER.....The Aussie is on the charge and he is white hot. Put your money where your mouth is....does he win the title or not? Another Williams double points and the Grove outfit is looking the goods, will the trend continue or is this a 2025 flash in the pan. It's all falling apart a Ferrari, strategy, radio, messy track calls, it's round 6 but is the line already through the scarlette crew? And a driver parade like no other, drivers having a laugh, giant lego chassis, is it time to ditch the truck and trailer for something more engaging? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

Coming of Age - The Saudi Arabian GP Review
THE TRIPLE HEADER IS OVER.....A slow build by Piastri has seen him lead the title race for the first time, but don't discount Max, this title is a 3 horse race at worst. Williams have turned a corner. The pre season hype has come to fruition and a double points. The sky is the limit in 2025. Lewis is losing it. And with Williams pushing the envelope, Fred would be scratching his head and this point. 2 years on a contract......never say never. And for the first time since Japan 2010 an Australian leads the title race, simply put, can he win it all? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.
-
297
Technical Difficulties - The Bahrain GP Review
AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE.....Forget the Lando era, the Piastri party is just getting started. Have Ferrari turned a corner? Leclerc looked solid, but more woes for Hamilton, how long before we see a turn of fortune or will it be an early packup for 2026? Gasly and Alpine have awoken, Doohan showed his potential and it looks a repeat of last year, how far up the grid will they end? And Haas have bounced back, looking to be best of the rest with a settled Ocon and a hungry Bearman. All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

Fire in the Disco - The Japanese GP Review
MAXIMUM ATTACK....Oh boy, don't ever count out the Dutch Lion. Sometimes the driver makes the difference and this week was the case. Another tough outing for Doohan, with rumours of a 5 round contract only, could there the early sun set rumours be fake news? Yuki stepped in for his first ride in the Redbull, how would you rate his opening run? Pass or Fail? And is this the rightful place for Suzuka? Fires in the grass and a resurfaced track with minimal running? What do you think? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

1/16th - The Chinese GP Review
SETTLING IN FOR ROUND TWO... After a disappointing home race the 1/16th man hit back with a maiden pole and race win. Don't sleep on George. Another P3 on race pace alone. The Brit is leading the team and you'd not want to take your eye off him. He is very much in the mix. What's going on with Stroll? Another points finish, out driving Alonso...again. is there rumblings in the 4 walls and a change has been made? And how would you rank the rookies after a second stint? Who's the big winner? The big loser? All the plus much much more on this week's episode of BTRL.

WE ARE BACK! Australia in its rightful place, a season that has started with a bang and headlines galore. The orange tsunami has begun to rumble, are McLaren the ones to beat, or did the weather cover over some possible team cracks? Williams snag a bagful. The talk of the town during testing but even with a DNF you can't help but think this corner that they have been chasing is about to be turned. And a baptism of fire from our rookies, from DNS, to DNF and carnage, carnage and more carnage, but who was the big winner and the big loser? All the plus much, much more on this week's episode of BTRL.
