Your Business Isn't Growing Because of You (Here's the Fix
The hard truth? If my business felt stuck, the problem wasn't my strategy, my clients, or my market. It was my systems — or the lack of them.In this episode, I get real about the hustle trap so many faith-driven women entrepreneurs fall into: believing that busy equals blessed. Spoiler — it doesn't. Building a business that's completely dependent on you isn't favor. It's a ceiling. This is Part 2 of our rest series. If you missed Part 1, head back and listen — I cover the why of rest and micro-practices to get you started. This episode is all about the how: designing your business with systems so that rest isn't something you steal… it's something you've built in.In this episode, I share:Why "the Brittany show" model eventually breaks every entrepreneurWhat the E-Myth taught me about building systems before you hire5 practical systems you can implement THIS quarterMy challenge to you this week: Pick just one of these five systems and commit to implementing it this quarter. That's it. One thing. Watch what shifts.📖 Mentioned in this episode: The E-Myth by Michael GerberCONNECT WITH ME:https://linktr.ee/brittany.durphey

Undercharging Isn't Humility
Are Christian entrepreneurs called to undercharge—or to steward wealth with bold faith? In this episode of Big Bold Faith, Brittany dismantles a deeply rooted belief hiding behind spirituality: that holiness requires smallness, struggle, or being underpaid. Joshua 1:7-9 has been a set of verses that the Lord has had me circling on for some time now... but I'm starting to see such richness in just these few sentences and I hope you do to. It is my honor to share this and pray for you. “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! The Colored Section at Church
I struggled with how I should summarize this episode; the short route is to simply ask that you listen with an open mind and heart. The longer approach is to say that God really showed himself to be very clear for me in the basis of this particular show. I grew up in church. And while some of my earliest memories include Sunday mornings in the pews, my more recent times there look vastly different than those of my childhood. In this episode, I reflect on so much of what has shaped the believer and follower I am today.CONNECT WITH ME:https://linktr.ee/brittany.durphey

Praying with greater discernment requires us to remove the areas where we willfully sin
I never want to shy away from having hard conversations, and in this episode I go pretty deep into calling out what God considers a sin... and these kinds of conversations should never be approached without a great deal of prayer. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. The GoOD Life - Will the Spiritual Warfare Ever End?
There is plenty of good available to us on any given day, but is any of it what God wants specifically for us? This is a very important question to get in the habit of asking. In this episode, I will walk through some of what it means to seek God for the very things that he wants for us, even when they might not make sense. Galatians 6:1-9Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. 2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. 3 If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.4 Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. 5 For we are each responsible for our own conduct.6 Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them.7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.CONNECT WITH ME:https://linktr.ee/brittany.durphey

Big Bold Faith - Then and Now
Sometimes, it's important to look back at where you've been before you can take a good look at where you're going. In this episode, I'm pleased to bring back my friend, Steven Murphy, who turns the tables by interviewing me! We go back to the beginning of this podcast and discuss how I have arrived where I am today. It is a really good opportunity for me to define the "why" behind how I believe God is leading me to continue this show.CONNECT WITH ME:https://linktr.ee/brittany.durphey

Pray With Me - An Introduction
Prayer is such a privilege! God has made himself available to us when we choose to call on his name. This will be the first of what will be a series of shorter episodes that I will be releasing from time to time.In this episode, I get to dive into something that I feel like God has been leading me to for some time now. I will walk you through Psalm 131 by praying what the Word says. I believe that as we seek God in prayer, he will reveal more of himself to us and act on our behalf.CONNECT WITH ME:https://linktr.ee/brittany.durphey

Follow My Lead
“Read the Bible” sounds like such a cliché and for what? To feel spiritual? To look spiritual? It means so much more to know the Bible, to get even the smallest amount of understanding of what is in it. In this episode, I get to take a look into the Word and share a portion of what God is showing me by being in it consistently.CONNECT WITH ME:https://linktr.ee/brittany.durphey

Really Listening to the Voice of God
In this episode, we will look at the act of truly listening to the voice of God. I recently experienced a time when I knew that God was telling me to go to Mexico; that was it... no more instruction beyond that, just go. While I pondered and questioned it from so many angles, I would learn that, if nothing else, it was time to just listen to what he was saying and go.Instances like this serve as a reminder that there is no source outside of God that will give you a clear picture of what the plan for your life looks like.CONNECT WITH ME:https://linktr.ee/brittany.durphey
