Plus we laugh. A LOT. But seriously, these young ladies who Jeremy met randomly on an airplane will encourage you more than you can imagine. Disclaimer: failure to maintain the proper amount of Kleenexes may result in an extraordinary amount of snot & tears. And no, we did not pay them to laugh at all of our dumb jokes.....as far as you know....PS - sorry about Jeremy's audio the first 15 minutes or so. It took him that long to realize he was using his ear buds as a mic rather than an actual microphone. Forgive him, for he (clearly) knows not what he does. PPS - yes we know Alyssa is still in the picture. Jeremy's just too lazy to change it till we have a new co-host.For more info on Jeremy and Ryan check out https://www.thejeremybaumann.com/podcast.

We also talk morning routines, our favorite podcasts (aside from this one, of course) and don't forget our segments, "I wish...," "Bible booyah," and " My favorite..." Our segment Pierce's pouch makes a comeback, albeit brief. And Jeremy talks about being a dad of a college kid, which doesn't seem possible given his maturity level. Most importantly our guest, Eric Brooker joins us to talk about (among other things) his recent book release, You are Enough: Overcoming Lifelong Doubts of Worthiness. It's an incredible read that I HIGHLY recommend, as he shares some crazy personal stories that are sure to impact you in an awesome way. Jenn Johnson of Bethel Music
In what seems like deja vu, Alyssa gives an update on potty training with child #2 (no pun intended), Ryan talks about what it's like to be married for 2 years to Anna (we're praying for you, Anna!!) and Jeremy.....well he was going to talk about stuff too but ran out of time (lucky you). And Jenn is....incredible. A true gem to have on the pod. She shares some amazing relationship advice, talks about her book All Things Lovely, songwriting, Bethel Music and what it's like being married to the singer from AC/DC. Or maybe that's a different Brian Johnson? We never got around to talking about Hootie but if I know anything about Jenn it's that her taste in music is impeccable and I'm quite confident that Hootie is her favorite band. Lastly, if prayer is your thing then be sure to listen to the end of Jenn's conversation. Pretty special. For more information on Jenn + Bethel Music visit https://bethelmusic.com/roster/jenn-johnsonAnd for more information on Jeremy, Ryan and Alyssa check out www.the2911group.com/podcast.

Pastor Mike Housholder
We apologize in advance that this episode is a bit longer than normal, but hey it's just as (if not more!) awesome as the others. Ironically at around 1 hour 15 minutes it's the same length of a service at our church, Lutheran Church of Hope, of which our guest is the pastor. We promise this wasn't planned. As far as you know anyway. Ryan takes the plunge and shares, or rather Pastor Mike shares Ryan's story about flushing his cynicism away and how he found God while sitting on a toilet and had his sins wiped away. LOTS of puns intended. Alyssa talks about the tug between work and home and Jeremy's audio kinda sucks. He's sorry. And our guest Pastor Mike is phenomenal as always. Other than disappointing Jeremy in his responses regarding Hootie he still brings fire while talking about Hope, his faith, MJ vs Lebron and more, and is kind enough to oblige Jeremy in a hilarious (at least we thought so) game that you don't want to miss. For more information on Jeremy, Ryan and Alyssa check out www.the2911group.com/podcast. And for more information on Lutheran Church of Hope check out www.lutheranchurchofhope.org.

Sprint car champ & American Ninja Warrior McKenna Haase
Ryan gives Alyssa and Jeremy some lessons in veganism and we all probably spend too much time talking about vegan stuff, Alyssa talks mac n cheese and baptisms and Jeremy shares a bit about his word and goals for the year. So yeah - that all goes together, right? And while we love our guest McKenna Haase, it started off on a sour note for Jeremy when he asked her what her favorite Hootie & the Blowfish song is and she responded with "I don't know what that is." Other than Hootie, 25 year old McKenna talks about her incredible racing experiences, what it was like to be on American Ninja Warrior (twice!), training with NFL players and more! For more information on Jeremy, Ryan and Alyssa check out www.the2911group.com/podcast.

We're Baaaaack
Alyssa talks more potty training and during the hiatus seemingly picked up Jeremy's (terrible) dad joke habits, Ryan gives some awesome news on his wife's Anna's health, and Jeremy seeks parenting advice for his kid who can't stop laughing. The gang also talks about the best spiritual advice they've received and evidence that God has a sense of humor and so much more. Of course Jeremy teeters on the edge of blasphemy. For more information on Jeremy, Ryan and Alyssa check out www.the2911group.com/podcast.

More importantly Jon talks about his experiences in music, the Atlanta airport, creating an amazing video for his hit song "Hard Out Here" and much more.Intro & outro song is "Fun", by Jon Mero and can be found wherever you find your music. For more information on Jeremy, Ryan and Alyssa check out www.the2911group.com/podcast.

Hootie & the Blowfish drummer Jim "Soni" Sonefeld
In our first ever New Year's episode Alyssa talks about her themes for 2022, Jeremy somehow manages to keep it together when talking to the drummer of his favorite band ever, and Ryan goes off-script and surprises Jeremy in their conversation with Soni. But most importantly Jim "Soni" Sonefeld (did we mention he's the drummer for Hootie & the Blowfish?!?!) shares a little history of Hootie, how he was able to overcome his addictions, and what his faith means to him. Intro & outro song is "Not Waiting on Sunday" from Jim Sonefeld's EP "Love", available wherever you stream your music!Visit www.the2911group.com/podcast for more info.

NFL Pro Bowler and All Around Good Guy Jason Baker
In our first ever Christmas episode Ryan talks about the correct way to measure horses, Alyssa shares a bit of insight into what it's like being the worship leader of the biggest Lutheran Church in America during Christmastime, and Jeremy shames Jason Baker on his record vs Iowa State. But most importantly Jason shares some great insight on the life of an NFL player, a hilarious story about one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all-time, and the importance of living a meaningful life outside of football. AND our audio doesn't suck!

Mitch Matthews - success coach, serial entrepreneur, and best selling author!
Alyssa provides a much awaited potty training update on her son, which unfortunately leads to a world record for the number of times the word 'poop' is said on a podcast. Ryan is well....Ryan. And Jeremy's audio sucks - sorry about that! We're working on it and thank you for your grace! Most importantly we have world renowned stud muffin and all around amazing dude Mitch 'freakin' Matthews! His enlightenment and stories around how his Big Dream Gatherings came to be will knock your socks off. And be sure to catch Alyssa's awesome life tip near the end of the podcast. For real though. Enjoy!
