Binge and Purge the Podcast

Holy hell, you guys. We've made it to the series finale of AJLT. However, we believe that our journey with these ladies is not yet over. Anyway, in this episode, everyone has Thanksgiving dinner. Charlotte finally gets some from Harry, Red Dragon's girlfriend's dog swallowed a Lego, and Carrie delivers pies. Seriously. That's all that happened.  We hope you're having a blast in London, Samantha! Until next time...

As far as we know, we've reached the ACTUAL penultimate episode of And Just Like That. (Some juicy gossip about what may come next in this episode.) Miranda invites Mia to Thanksgiving, Charlotte doesn't think she can get out of Miranda's dinner, and Carrie writes an epilogue. I wonder if Samantha and Duncan are having a drink in London?

Well, well, well. We were tricked! This is NOT the season finale. We have two more to go. Red Dragon finds out she's going to be a grandmother, Charlotte needs five construction workers to hang wallpaper, and Carrie finally gets some English action. Samantha, where are you?

We've made it to the penultimate episode of AJLT Season 3. Charlotte has one scene featuring her vertigo, Miranda has room for baggage, and Carrie FINALLY breaks up with Aidan. Hallelujah! Samantha would be proud. (Of the break-up - not the episode.)

Somehow, we've made it through episode 8 of AJLT. (Two more to go) The artist formerly known as Red Dragon wonders if she's truly an alcoholic, Charlotte suffers from Vertigo, and we all suffer through Aidan and Carrie kissing. Samantha, where are you???

We've made it to episode 7, but we're hanging by a thread. Charlotte has a birthday (but it's not a big one), we have a new nickname for Red Dragon because the dragon has lost her fire, and it doesn't look like it's coming back, and we officially detest Carrie. Samantha - we will never stop begging for you to come back. 

It's episode 6 of this hellish season. Miranda found an apratment (finally), Charlotte is constantly crying, and Carrie is just a bitch, at this point. We also talk about Samantha (a character who no longer exits on this show) incessantly during this episode. Enjoy!

Welcome to Season 3 Episode 5 of AJLT. It's moving at a snail's pace, would you agree? Charlotte is forced to keep her feelings to herself (and it's really sad), Miranda needs to find a place already, and WHY IS CARRIE WEARING HEELS TO WALK AROUND HER HOUSE???? However, there was one silver lining - Carrie texted Samantha. It's crumbs, but we'll take what we can get.

Well, it seems like nobody is coming to save us, so we continue to trudge through the muck of it all. Charlotte's storyline goes to Harry this week, Red Dragon finally kisses someone in her league, and Carrie's life is just - oof. We're happy not to be her. Samantha. Please help!!!

Welcome to another questionable episode of AJLT. Charlotte attempts to hang with the Gen Zs, Red Dragon gets her flirt on, and our girl Carrie visits Virginia. We will continue to ask, where in the hell is Samantha?

Oof. This is a rough season so far, so let's jump in. Charlotte is worried about Lily's college prospects, Red Dragon can't catch a lesbian break, and our gal, Carrie, is building a garden. We still miss Samantha.

Welcome back! It's the season 3 premiere of And Just Like That, and Shelby and Paul have a lot to say. Red Dragon meets a thirsty out-of-towner, Charlotte has a stupid plot centered around her dog, and our gal Carrie is still putting up with ridiculous relationship rules with Aidan. Strap in because there is a lot of eye rolling.

And we're back! Shelby has returned from her European sojourn, and Paul has been to 700 concerts. What do we have to show for it? A nothing-burger finale.  Red Dragon goes international (at least on-air), Charlotte gets a new iPhone, and Samantha (FINALLY, Samantha) is stuck in London. (There are worst places to be stuck.) As for our gal, even though her dinner party was a smashing success, her relationship with Aidan ain't lookin' too pretty.

It's Season 2, Episode 10 of AJLT. We have ourselves a two-parter! Red Dragon is dressing better, getting offended at Che's shows, and working at the UN. Charlotte is overacting, getting drunk, and frustrated with her kids' ridiculous needs. Samantha is coming to see us next episode! As for our gal, she sold her place, communicated with Stanford, and had to console bad crier - Aidan.   PSA- Due to Shelby's end-of-the-summer European vacation, our next (and last) episode will be delayed for 2 weeks. We hate it, but we're doing the best we can. 

And here we are - Season 2, Episode 9 of AJLT. Charlotte and Red Dragon share the spotlight this week because Brady and Lily may be doing IT. Samantha is nowhere to be found, but Seema is doing a good job lately of bringing some va-va-va-voom to the series. As for our gal, looks like she'll be reloacting to a new zip code. 

Welcome to Season 2, Episode 8 of AJLT. Red Dragon's internship is turning into a full-time gig. (Finger's crossed she becomes a ball-buster again.) Charlotte has body-image issues. And we get to see a glimpse of Samantha! As for our gal, she's acting like a teenager and it's annoying,

Welcome to Season 2, Episode 7 of AJLT. This episode felt a little bit (and we mean tiny) like SATC. It's Valentine's Day, and everyone has something going on. Charlotte accidentally gets high, while Red Dragon navigates the dating world post-Che. Sam is still missing. As for our gal, she has a date with a man from her past - Aidan!

Welcome to Season 2, Episode 6 of AJLT. Don't worry, according to our research, we only have 5 more of these to suffer through. In this Nixon-directed ep, Red Dragon gets dumped, but Che is here to stay. Charlotte has somehow become the new Samantha as she runs around town to make sure Lily's first time is pregnancy and STI/STD-free. Meanwhile, we still crave our Samantha cameo. As for our gal, she emails Aidan - finally. 

On Season 2 Ep 5 of AJLT, they team attempts to make a Halloween episode that isn't very Halloween-y. Red Dragon and Che take some time off while Charlotte reminisces about her stint as a Ralph Lauren model. Still waiting on Samantha. As for our gal, she meets a dude and makes out with him a little. 

It's season 2, Episode 4 of AJLT, and we can't help but ask ourselves, can this show get any worse? Red Dragon is reunited with her unhealthy love, comedian Che Diaz. Charlotte has some pretty uncomfortable sex scenes with Harry, and dear GOD, we miss Samantha. As for our gal Carrie, she gets to meet the great Gloria Steinem! The rest is just noise. 

Apologies in advance. This is a Zoom episode, so there were some online issues (lagging, freezing, etc.), but we did our best.  We're happy to announce that Red Dragon returns to Brooklyn, and Charlotte makes a MILF list, but we're sill waiting on Sam. As for our girl, she has a hard time revisiting Big's death. 

Welcome to Season 2, Episode 2 of AJLT. Charlotte needs to chill, and so does Red Dragon. Samantha is still MIA, and our gal is a sex columnist who can't say vagina (nor suppository). As for the others...just listen. 

Friends!!! Here we are again for the trainwreck we call Season 2 of And Just Like That. Everyone is going to the Met Ball/Gala. Well, almost everyone. Red Dragon acts like an insecure teenager in LA, while Charlotte deals with plus 1 drama. (Also waiting for the inevitable Samantha sighting, but we didn't think it would happen out of the gate.) As for our gal Carrie, it's drama all around - men, clothing, and awful writing.

We're thrilled to announce that this episode is the best so far! Charlotte deals with Lily's IG posts, Red Dragon is manic as hell, and Samantha isn't even mentioned. As for Carrie, she gets a new neighbor. 

We've made it to episode 7, and it hasn't been easy. Charlotte plays tennis in an ankle-length dress, Red Dragon takes her cheating to a new level, and Samantha is still incognito. As for Carrie, she gets back into the dating scene.

OK, we actually didn't hate episode 6. Charlotte is upset that she may have to redecorate the kids' room, Red Dragon can't stop fantasizing about Che, and only one mention of Samantha. As for our girl, Carrie, she moved - kind of. 

We've made it to episode 5. Tragically Hip or just tragic? Charlotte has a difficult time with her spawn's gender identity, Red Dragon is a cheater, and Samantha responds to Carrie's text. As for our girl, she gets hip surgery.

Welcome to episode 4! Charlotte acts like she's 700 years old when it comes to modern-day society, Red Dragon finally got her professor to like her, and Samantha is still gone. As for Carrie, her apartment with Big is on the market - and we have a new character.

We've made it to episode 3, and Red Dragon's drinking seems to be an issue, Charlotte deals with gender issues within the family, and Samantha is still missing. As for our gal, Carrie, she has a run-in with a former foe.

We finally made it to episode 2. Charlotte is being emotionally selfish, we get a hint of the real Red Dragon - but just for a moment, and Samantha's ghost lingers. As for our gal Carrie, she's the Jackie Kennedy of funerals. 

And... We're back! But it's a different show. Shelby and Paul dissect the premiere episode of the long-awaited And Just Like That. Charlotte has tweens, Red Dragon didn't get mad (even once), and Samantha is MIA (and it's obvious). As for our girl Carrie, well, we can't say much due to spoilers, but her hair looks great. 

Friends! We've missed you so. Don't get too excited, as this is just an update, but we had to address the upcoming SATC production news. Here's our take. 

It's our podcast finale! We can't believe it. Thank you to everyone who stuck it out with us. We love you all. Here we go... Charlotte gets drunk, Samantha gets arrested, and Red Dragon gets to flex her attorney muscles in another country. As for Carrie, as you can imagine, everything turns out to be A-OK.

Still in Abu Dhabi! Red Dragon is annoying, Samantha has hormone issues, and Charlotte is SUPER annoying. As for Carrie, she kisses Aidan!

The ladies make it to Abu Dhabi. Charlotte is paranoid about the nanny, Samantha's hormones are confiscated, and Red Dragon is an annoying know-it-all. As for Carrie, she sees an ex.

We're back in New York from Stanford's wedding. Samantha is invited to Abu Dhabi, Red Dragon quits her job, and Charlotte is jealous of the nanny with amazing boobs. As for Carrie, she is BORED.

We've made it to movie 2! Miranda looks FANTASTIC, Samantha is going through menopause, and Charlotte's second kid cries too much. As for Carrie, she wore a tux to a wedding. 

Holy hell, we finished the movie! Samantha is done with California, Charlotte has her baby, and Red Dragon meets Steve on the bridge. As for Carrie, she gets her happy ending too.

This is a long movie. Charlotte is still pregnant, Samantha still misses New York, and Red Dragon is still pissed at Steve. Guess what. Carrie is still heartbroken.

We're in the dead center. Samantha is bored in LA, Charlotte gets some good news, and Red Dragon moves back to The City. As for Carrie, she dies her hair and gets an assistant.

Ok everyone, this is where the shit hits the fan. Samantha gets a sneak peak at her neighbor's sex skills, Red Dragon finds out Steve was unfaithful, and Charlotte looks pretty and takes Lily everywhere. As for Carrie, I mean... Big is a dick.

We've moved on to the big screen. Shelby and Paul recount and critique the first 30 minutes of Sex and the City the Movie.

We can't believe it. It's finally here. We've reached the end of an era. It's the show finale. Samantha commits, Charlotte adopts, and Red Dragon's heart melts. As for Carrie, well, she ends up with Big John.

We're in Paris! Samantha makes a speech, Charlotte cries, and Miranda is a sweet Red Dragon. As for Carrie, she's in Paris! And hating it.

It's Paul's favorite episode! Samantha wears a ton of wigs, Charlotte slut shames her dog, and the Red Dragon returns with her red temper. As for Carrie, she's moving to Paris!!!

We're really hauling ass through season 6. Charlotte becomes a stage mom, Miranda loves Steve, and Samantha makes a sex tape. As for Carrie, she and the Russian have an emotional breakthrough. 

Paul liked this episode! Charlotte meets Elizabeth Taylor, Samantha finds a wig, and Red Dragon goes to Brooklyn. As for Carrie, she has more of a learning curve with the Russian.
