Wonder How
For this beautiful and exciting lounge track I was asked to just improvise a few so-called ad libs. The word "ad lib" derives from the Latin expression "ad libitum" meaning "at one's pleasure" or "as you desire". To me as an artist the most wonderful challenge. Challenge, because it means, I...

Fa TV Spot Music
This choire for Fa was and still is used for a decade now in many countries in the world. It is a somehow "commercial classic" ;) When I sang it, the focus was on adding a lot of breath to the singing voice to have a soft and sensitive touch ... My gratitude to Witty Music and all staff there!!!

La vie est belle Layout for Vodafone
What I love about studio work is the play with characters. Here I was allowed to switch into the child-like happy way of singing, and that in French. As far as I know this commercial was not used, like most of the written songs actually are. But I like it ...

Gelbe Seiten Park. Funny TV spot.
Was the dog in the air? Or was it the owner? Hm, this TV spot made us laugh a while ago ... wish I could find it on youtube e.g. ... Searching for love ... yet being carried away by the leash, great ;) Was fun singing this, too, getting into this innocent role! Love studio work as a singer. Thank...

Gold. Rocher TV Spot with Pierce Brosnan.
One of the most magical TV songs I was blessed to sing. Listening to this, it does not sound like a commercial for sweets at all, not to me, so much more intense. Personally I had to discover there is sometimes, even in my own head, an often unnecessary border between so-called "service music"…

Liberty
This song was written for a dear beloved friend who lost her believe in herself and in life. At that point she only wanted to die because of an upcoming trauma from her early past. I felt the urge of lifting her up and taking her by my hand, back into her own strength. Here is a part of my…

A la Morricone
When I was a very little child, I was always singing, wherever I was, whatever happened, on the street, when noone looked at me like I was crazy, even later at school when I forgot myself. My beloved and strictly religious Granny Helga Becker always took me to church where I learned to sound…

Dust War
Very special to me – Dust War from the 1999 soundtrack of Maria Schrader and Dani Levis movie "Meschugge". Together with Niki Reiser and Johnny Klimek we became part of the Bavarian Film Awards for music. At that time I did not quite realize the size of that. Nevermind, cocreating this piece of...

Sailing (TV Song 2008 Perwoll)
My God, I get touched and a little sad when I hear this song. Reminds me of the transformation after death. From the first moment in Witty musics' studio when I was hired to sing it I thought of the eternal peace, of being swept away with the wind after being burned and carried over the sea. To…

Juhuu!

I love studio work as a singer. For this CD I was simply part of a loungy album for A Vida Azul and had the role to just sing two lovely yet important sentences: Get onto the nighflight ... (yes I am a night person, no prob)... Let's get away! (Yes, where to?) Easily and softly I can better sing...
