The only ones who would try to extinguish your light are those who don't see their own. We are the ones we've been waiting for. 'Black Bodies Are Supernovas ' is written to honor those who for a brief moment may have forgotten. Welcome home!

Who are you? A question I reflect on often. Am I the experiences that have shaped my reality thus far? Am I how i'm perceived by the world and what little they know about me based on the multiple matrices we use? Perhaps I am the creator behind the art? The muse and the artist. Maybe I am angry. Maybe I am light. Maybe I am a multitude of complicated emotions that exist within this body. What a liberating feeling to accept this truth. Who are you?

"Use Me" is a reflection on my walk with Christ—the way He lovingly corrects me. And when my pride gets in the way, I'm reminded that we are all imperfect. Yahweh understands me in a way that makes me feel secure in this calling. My purpose is to challenge the status quo by daring to be my most authentic self.

What is this chapter of your life called? If you could sum it up into a few words what would that be? I feel myself stepping into a transformative chapter. I am no longer accepting old ways of thinking. Everyday God blesses me with life I am going to create, elevate, and ground myself in the ultimate truth: I am love. In my quest for solid advice on what to look for in a potential partner, I consulted various couples ranging in age and background.  I've come up with a short list of helpful ways to navigate dating in your early 20s. In the meeting we discuss initiatives that would allow individuals that are currently homeless access to resources that could potentially change their predicament while also receiving support  and guidance throughout the process.  I welcome my fellow board members who had the chance to speak and ask questions as we learned about these initiatives and took notes on how we could integrate them into our communities! I had the pleasure and opportunity to post a few  fliers in the Stone Mountain area that I hope can lead to someone having the opportunity to seek these available networks.
