How to Know When It's God's Will | Shannon O'Dell

In Week 3 of Voices and Choices, Pastor Shannon O’Dell teaches on how to hear God’s voice so you can make the right choices. The voices you listen to will always shape the direction of your life — but hearing God requires more than just wanting clarity. It requires dropping distractions, aligning your life with God’s Word, seeking wise counsel, stepping out in faith, and staying faithful even when the excitement wears off.Through the story of Joseph, we’re reminded that God may give you the dream, but He may not give you every detail. Sometimes He withholds the full picture so your faith can grow. The calling may be bigger than you, harder than you expected, and tied to more people than you realize — but if God spoke it, stay with it.Don’t quit on what God called you to. Write it down. Seek wisdom. Watch God work. And keep choosing obedience.Key Scriptures: John 10:27 Ephesians 3:20 Philippians 3:13 Jeremiah 20:9 Proverbs 11:14 Proverbs 12:15 1 Corinthians 10:13 Genesis 37–41Subscribe for more messages from Brand New Church and share this with someone who needs to hear God’s voice clearly in this season.#VoicesAndChoices #BrandNewChurch #ShannonODell #HearGodsVoice #ChristianMessage #FaithOverFear #Joseph #GodsCalling #BiblicalWisdom #Sermon

3 Ways to Increase Your Faith | Shannon O’Dell

A lot of people believe in Jesus… but have never actually trusted Him.So what is real, saving faith? In this message, we break down the three essential elements of biblical faith—knowledge, conviction, and trust—and why missing even one changes everything. It’s possible to know about Jesus, agree with the truth, and still never fully surrender your life to Him.Then we take it deeper with three positions of faith that shape how you live:• “I’m Gonna Die Trying” – trusting God even when you don’t see the promise• “We Can” – refusing to let outside voices override what God already said• “Send It” – stepping out and living your faith with bold actionThis message will challenge you to stop sitting in passive belief and start walking in real, active faith.Because faith isn’t just what you believe…it’s how you live.Key Scriptures:John 14:6Romans 10:9–10Hebrews 11:12 Corinthians 5:7Numbers 13–14We hope you enjoy the message!

Get Past your Past | Romans 8:38-39 | Shannon O'Dell

Most people say they believe God loves them… but they still live trapped by their past. In this message from Romans 8, we confront one of the biggest lies holding Christians back: the belief that your past failures still define your future. The Apostle Paul makes a bold declaration — “I am convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God.” Not your mistakes. Not your shame. Not your worst moments. So why do so many people still live stuck? This message breaks down the powerful truth of Romans 8:38–39 and shows why the real battle isn’t whether God loves you — it’s whether you’re convinced of it. You’ll discover: • Why most people never truly move forward in their faith • The dangerous habit of living in your past • What Paul meant when he said “I am convinced” • How to break free from guilt, shame, and old identity • Why your past cannot disqualify the future God has for you If you’ve ever felt like your mistakes, failures, or past decisions are holding you back, this message will challenge you to leave your past at the feet of Jesus and move forward in the freedom God intended. 📖 Scripture: Romans 8:38–39, Luke 7, 1 Corinthians 6 If this message encouraged you, make sure to subscribe and share it with someone who needs to hear that their past does not have the final word.

Stop Living in Shame | Shannon O'Dell

Romans 8 changes everything. One chapter takes you from NO CONDEMNATION to NO SEPARATION—and most believers are still living like neither is true.Romans 8:1 doesn’t say less condemnation. It says none. This message exposes why so many Christians stay stuck in guilt, shame, and spiritual paralysis—and how Jesus already dealt with it. Condemnation is the enemy’s favorite weapon, but it loses all power when you’re positioned in Christ. We break down:Why the gospel is acceptance before change, not the other way aroundThe critical difference between condemnation vs. convictionWhy guilt-free living isn’t reckless—it’s powerfulHow the enemy keeps believers herding “GOAT guilt” instead of walking in freedomThe G.O.A.T. sins of condemnation: deception, jealousy, immorality, and unhealthy relationshipsWhy being hitched to the wrong influences will drain your spiritual powerHow Romans 8:2 declares freedom not just from condemnation—but from sin itselfJesus comes with conviction that restores. The devil comes with condemnation that paralyzes. It’s time to leave the goats and live free.👉 If this message helped you, like, share, and subscribe. 👉 Drop a comment: What area have you been fighting condemnation in?Scripture References: Romans 8:1–2 John 3:17 John 8:10–11 1 John 3:20 1 Samuel 10:3 Matthew 25:32 Judges 14–15 Genesis 27, 37, 38

You Have a Seat at the Table | Jon Morris

You don’t earn a seat at the King’s table. You’re invited. In 2 Samuel 9, King David does something that makes no sense by human standards. He searches for someone from Saul’s family—not to punish them, but to show them kindness. What he finds is Mephibosheth: broken, forgotten, and living in Lo-debar—a place that literally means no pasture, no word, no future. And yet, the King calls him home. This message is about overwhelming grace. Grace that hunts you down. Grace that restores what was lost. Grace that gives you a seat you never deserved. Just like Mephibosheth, many of us are living far from the table, believing our past, our pain, or our brokenness disqualifies us. But the gospel tells a different story: the King defines your worth by His kindness, not your merit. Jesus echoes this truth in Luke 14—inviting the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind—and Paul reminds us in Romans 8 that we are no longer slaves, but sons and daughters through adoption. There is a chair at the table. And it has your name on it. 📖 Scriptures referenced: 2 Samuel 9:1–11 Luke 14:12–14 Romans 8:15 If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who needs to be reminded they belong.

Altar Moments Alter You | Shannon O'Dell

According to Your Faith — Repairing the Altar “According to your faith, let it be done to you.” (Matthew 9:29) Faith isn’t talk. Faith leaves evidence. In this message, we confront a hard question: If someone examined your life this week, what would prove you believe God? Not what you said. Not what you felt. What you did. Using Scripture, personal testimony, and the powerful biblical imagery of altars, this message walks through: The difference between talk and power (1 Corinthians 4:20) Five diagnostic questions that expose the condition of your faith The Altars of Scripture—Father, Forgetting, Fire, and Forever How broken altars get repaired—and why God still responds when they do Why forgiveness isn’t fragile, emotional, or incomplete What it actually means to expect the fire, not just hope for it This is not a motivational message. This is not a feel-good message. This is a call to action. Because when faith is real, it builds something. When repentance is real, rubble gets cleared. And when the altar is repaired—God still answers with fire. 👉 Watch with an open Bible 👉 Watch with an honest heart 👉 Watch ready to respond

How to Enjoy Joy | Shannon O'Dell

Joy isn’t a personality trait. It’s a practice. The Bible doesn’t tell us to wait for joy—it tells us to choose it, protect it, and live from it.In this message, we unpack what Scripture actually says about joy: • Why enjoyment is possible every single day • How the joy of the Lord becomes real strength—not fake positivity • Why your thoughts, words, and choices quietly determine your spiritual health • How joy is sustained in community through “one another” livingJesus said He came to give us life abundantly—not someday, but today. So why do so many believers live depleted, anxious, and joyless?Joy grows when we: ✔ Guard our minds ✔ Speak with faith ✔ Obey even when it’s inconvenient ✔ Choose unity, humility, and love toward othersThis isn’t hype. It’s formation. It’s light for the eyes and strength for the bones.📖 Key Scriptures: 1 Peter 1:8 • John 10:10 • Nehemiah 8:10 • Philippians 4:8 • Proverbs 18:21 • Matthew 1:24 and moreIf you’re tired of surviving and ready to live with strength, clarity, and joy, this message is for you.

Are you Joyous or Jealous? | Shannon O'Dell

Envy doesn’t just steal joy — it sabotages your entire life.We rarely call it out, but Scripture is blunt: envy rots from the inside, fractures relationships, kills contentment, and quietly questions God’s goodness. From the Garden of Eden to the early church, the Bible treats envy as a serious threat—not a harmless emotion. In this message, we unpack:How envy silently destroys joy and confidenceWhy comparison fuels success but never fulfillmentHow envy poisons relationships and communityThe connection between envy and distrust in God’s goodnessPractical, biblical ways to kill envy instead of managing itWhy rejoicing with others is spiritual warfareA timely Christmas warning about comparison and counterfeit joyThis isn’t a self-help talk. It’s a confrontation—and an invitation—to choose eternal joy over temporary comparison.📖 Key Scriptures: 1 Peter 1:8 • Genesis 3:6 • Proverbs 14:30 • 1 Corinthians 13 • Galatians 5 • Romans 12 • Philippians 4If you’re tired of comparison draining your joy, this message is for you.👉 Like, subscribe, and share with someone who needs freedom from envy.

How to get through tough times with JOY | Shannon O’Dell

Life doesn’t stop just because you’re going through something — but God didn’t design you to drag yourself through every season exhausted. In this message, Pastor shares a powerful, practical roadmap for how to GET THROUGH what you’re GOING THROUGH with JOY — a joy that doesn’t depend on circumstances, emotions, or outcomes. You’ll learn how to: • RELEASE the weight you’re carrying instead of pretending you’re fine • RECEIVE strength, support, and healing from God and His people • REFUSE every lie, fear, and attack with Scripture-based declarations • REMEMBER God’s past faithfulness so you stop doubting His present goodness • RELY on the joy that only comes from His presence • REACH OUT and become a source of strength to othersThis message also dismantles three huge misconceptions about love that keep believers stuck, isolated, and spiritually dry — and shows why real, biblical love is the fuel behind unshakeable joy.If you’re overwhelmed, drained, or fighting battles no one sees… this word will breathe life into you again. If you’re thriving, this will sharpen your faith so you can strengthen someone else.Real joy isn’t laughing. Real joy is loving. And you were built to walk in it — every single day.
