In this episode, we accidentally talk about a bunch of electric motorcycles that have recently hit the motorcycle industry. We start things off with Harley-Davidson taking the Livewire public on the New York Stock Exchange. From there, we look at Ducati's reveal of its MotoE electric race bike. Next up, there is a new startup, Stark Future, making a very promising electric MX bike. Lastly, we finish with California cracking down on emissions from small motors, like those found on gas generators. This all makes for an interesting conversation about the future of the motorcycle industry, and the rise of electric motorcycle offerings from two-wheeled manufacturers.

Stuck in customs from flying to Europe twice in two weeks, the lost Episode 80 covers two bike launches: the Ducati Streetfighter V2 and the Aprilia Tuareg 660. Both bikes were incredibly good, but cause some interesting ripples in their respective classes. On the motorcycle front, we look at the Ducati Multistrada V2, Suzuki GSX-S1000GT, Triumph Tiger Sport 660, retro bikes, and the budding EV market.

In this episode, you better buckle up for an hour of Jensen and Shahin talking about Ducati's upcoming 2022 models, including the DesertX and Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. In this episode we discuss the teaser debut of the Aprilia Tuareg 660, and what it means for the adventure bike market. That leads us into a larger discussion about the ADV space and what makes a bike an adventure bike (or not), including some frank talk about Ural sidecars. We also talk about the retirement announcement of Valentino Rossi, and whether or not MotoGP will be coming to Austin this year. It's a lively show, with no shortage of opinions - we think you'll enjoy it.

What makes American motorcycling unique? That's the ongoing question in this episode, as we look at BMW's new R18 motorcycles, which take on the bagger and dresser offerings from Harley-Davidson. We also look at rumors of new Ducati's on the horizon, and our electric future.

Shahin goes to the IMS Outdoor show at Sears Point and reports back on all the shiny bikes he saw, while Jensen covers the KTM RC 8C debut, Triumph's plans for a dirt bike, and the new Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss edition.

In this episode we start out with some news about Aprilia's worldwide recall for its 660cc motorcycles. From there, we head to BMW, which has just launched its CE 04 electric scooter while also touting record sales. It is Harley-Davidson with the top electric news though, as its spin-out of the LiveWire brand has shown us the much more affordable ONE motorcycle - and all the confusion that comes with.

It's been hot, Hot, HOT here in Portland, but Jensen and Shahin talk about some motorcycles - and rumors of motorcycles - including the possibilities of the Yamaha R9 and BMW R1300GS motorcycles.

In this episode, we talk about what it's like racing with a broken collarbone, and why that's a bad idea. We also discuss whether it's a good idea for Harley-Davidson to make the LiveWire its own electric motorcycle sub-brand; the good, bad, and the ugly about Brembo's new caliper concept; as well as some business items from the industry. In this episode of the Brap Talk Motorcycle Podcast, we start by talking about Jensen's recent on-track crash, where he broke his collarbone. This gets us into a conversation about the mental side of the sport, and probably why this podcast is going to come out late. From there, we take a look at the new Suzuki GSX-S1000 street bike, as well as Valentino Rossi's decision to take money from the Saudi Arabian government. We finish the show with a fun discussion about our favorite bikes with different engine configurations.
