Da Gwop Krew and Art Maines

Reigning from the small town of Tyner, NC, John McCraig Overton, Delmonte Jordan, and Antonio Copeland not only share a love for music, but they also share a bond that links them more than music ever could. Although John and Delmonte were born on the same day and one hour apart, John is Delmonte's uncle. Virtually raised as brothers, they would later meet Antonio at a restaurant where they all worked. They went from flipping burgers to flipping beats and rhymes and that would eventually become life for these three gentlemen. Speaking of life, these young men faced the typical trials and tribulations that most youth do growing up in North Carolina but their passion for sports, video games, and girls kept them on the right path. They understood at a young age that getting money was their main objective and they wanted to get it through something the invoked passion in the people around them and not fear. Since that point, Da Gwop Krew has been on a relentless mission to get that gwop. Art is the author of Scammed: 3 Steps to Help Your Elder Parents and Yourself, and has also been a speaker on elderly fraud prevention and recovery at both the state and national level. He has spoken for 4 years in a row at the Missouri National Association of Social Workers symposium, and he recently presented at the national conferences for the National Association of Social Workers in Washington, DC, and Cambridge Financial Research in Scottsdale, AZ. He has trained on topics related to elderly fraud recovery and prevention to professional groups and senior organizations, and has consulted with scam victims’ families locally and nationally. Drawing on his own experience helping his 83 year old stepfather recover from a series of devastating scams, and his clinical skills as a practicing therapist, gives him a unique perspective on this growing problem.

    Become That Guy

Michael Hurst is a dating coach, author and speaker based in Washington, DC. His book Become That Guy: Become Irresistibly Attractive is a comprehensive resource for dating and self-development. Starting in high school Michael made a conscious effort to figure out what it took to become better when it comes to meeting women. While in college 11 years ago he discovered the early stages of what is now known as the Pickup Artist (PUA) movement which helped him develop more power and choice in his dating life with women. His new book “Become That Guy” is a comprehensive resource toward dating and self-development based on over 11 years of experience in the Pickup Artist/men’s self development community. Michael rediscovered the Men’s Pickup Artist Movement in summer 2007 when a woman he went home with had a copy of the book “The Game” on her bedside table. The phrase “Become That Guy” refers to becoming the kind of guy who is naturally attractive to women. Learning to become more attractive to women is about more than just knowing what to do or say in a given situation. If a man creates a strong set of beliefs about himself s and about women that make him attractive, the skills and behaviors will tend to follow naturally from that. Instead of being a guy who says things, you become that guy who is attractive.

    V. Frank Asaro, A Primal Wisdom

    V. Frank Asaro, JD is a lawyer, musician/ composer, inventor and theorist who authored the non-fiction book, Universal Co-opetition, published (Oct.2011), The Tortoise Shell Code, novel (2012) and now, A Primal Wisdom (April, 2014), the non-fiction corollary to his novel and a 2d, expanded edition to Universal Co-opetition. He began developing the theory of co-opetition not long after he was selected out of law school as lawyer-clerk to the California Courts of Appeal. He went on to receive the highest-category law career peer review, Preeminent, Martindale Hubbell rating, and appeared in Who’s Who in American Law, and Who’s Who in the World. Engaged in litigation most of his career, he honed skills proving or disproving facts and stories – a handy talent for a novelist and a theorist. Moreover, as a patent holder, he shows a creative knack. This he calls upon in weaving the most exciting tale of The Tortoise Shell Code, a fiction work in Admiralty – one of his fields, and in nailing the theories of this non-fiction corollary, A Primal Wisdom. In those early days when he was an Appellate court law clerk, his creativity became a major component in developing the theory of the products liability holding of Greenman v Yuba Power Products - further expanded by the California Supreme court. A major part of the Greenman opinion is now the law in the English speaking and European Union countries of the world. To offer additional examples of co-opetition, or to contact in general: [email protected].

Hogan Hilling, Author of Dads Behaving BADLY: 67 Truths, Tears and Triumph of Modern Fatherhood

Hogan Hilling is back again discussing about his new release, "Dads Behaving Dadly: 67 Truths, Tears and Triumph of Modern Fatherhood." More and more fathers are asserting themselves and actively taking part in changing diapers, attending doctor’s appointments, participating in PTA meetings and helping with homework. In short, fatherhood is alive and well! We have seen the dramatic shift into to modern fatherhood. In fact, we have lived it. Hogan became a stay-at-home dad in 1992 and quickly became an advocate for involved fatherhood. He wrote articles, led workshops for fathers at local hospitals, spoke to corporations about the advantages of being an involved father and published many self-help parenting books. Al became a stay-at-home dad in 2002 and soon after joined the National At-Home Dad Network, eventually rising to be its President in 2011. He wrote many blog posts about life as a stay-at-home dad and revealed to parents and brands on social media the truths about the capabilities and desires of fathers in the 21st century. The image of fatherhood, however, has not changed much despite the reality we have lived and witnessed in the thousands of fathers we have met. We decided to change that and in 2012 launched a book project we titled “Dads Behaving DADLY.” The mission of the book project was to reveal the truths, tears and triumphs of modern fatherhood we had heard for years to a public that had yet to completely change its opinion of dads as bumbling, incompetent parents.

He has recently written two amazing books, Fearless Puppy on American Road and Reincarnation Through Common Sense. True to Ten’s form, ALL author profits from these books will be donated to sponsor Wisdom Professionals (beginning with but not exclusive to Tibetan Nuns and Monks). Ten is a graduate of heroin addiction and death, as well as thirty-five years and over a hundred thousand miles of travel without ever driving a car, having a bank account, telephone, or a bill in his name. The term “crazy wisdom” is often used, but rarely meets its match the way it does in this author. Ten Rose and his work are a vibrant part of the present and future as well as an essential remnant of a vanishing breed. With Unwashed Hands with Joanie Bolton

After events so incredible they warrant attention from movie makers, Joanie Bolton had no choice but to pen the amazing, though difficult-to-write, details in her book, With Unwashed Hands. Joanie’s true story about events she and her husband, Darrell, experienced half-way around the world, take the reader on quitean emotional ride. The life-altering events include the horror of medical abuse, the sudden lossof a loved one, a peaceful near-death experience, and Divine intervention which spared her husband’s life. Joanie’s book has left readers emotionally exhausted, while at the same time full of hope. Her collection of heartfelt notes from her readers is priceless. Joanie and Darrell have sacrificed their time and finances to help people around the world. Darrell’s 23 years of service in the US Air Force left the Boltons well-accustomed to travel. Since Darrell’s military retirement in 2004, they have visited twenty nations, assisting missionaries and lifting spirits by providing motivational material through speaking engagements in local villages and towns. The focus of the Boltons’ ministry is to provide compassionate help to those less fortunate, which includes teaching students in public schools, bringing food and toys to orphans and helping and encouraging missionaries--most often in third-world countries. Eventually one doctor finally did discover the cause of her disability--the complete collapse of her immune system. It took one more year of intense treatments to restore her health.
