For this very special Friday the 13th episode, we're joined by JD of Cult Classics to discuss an unsung hero of the franchise, Part V: A New Beginning! Why are we starting with part 5? Because just like us, it's weird, gross, and doesn't always make a lot of sense. Welcome back to Brothers in Blood! After warming the benches for the last couple of months we realized it was time to get back in the game, and what better way to tie in this analogy than by covering 1985's TEEN WOLF. Is it horror? Well, there's a werewolf so...yes! Listen, we're talking about this flick because we want to, and because you guys deserve some variety, and because this film was a huge gateway for future monster-kids. So tune in, crack open a can of tab, and enjoy the return of Brothers in Blood!

This week we're bringing to life a 3+ hour long episode on Guillermo del Toro's dream project: Frankenstein. We talk gothic horror, the differences between this iteration and the book, as well as previous adaptations, and a deep dive into the characters, production, and del Toro's history with Shelley's creation. Whether you were able to catch this film at the theater or it was a home viewing, you won't want to miss the Brothers in Blood coverage. We're back with another Tricks n' Treats episode for all you Halloween heads out there. We've been doing this for over a year now, one whole year of talking horror movies, Halloween memories, and all things strange and unusual. To those of you who have stuck with us, we owe you our immortal souls (not really), but we have a lot of new listeners! After seeing how many people have gone back to the beginning, we decided to re-listen to those first few episodes, and they were...uh...bad! So we felt it best to do a re-introduction so you could get to know us without all the early bumps in the road. Hopefully ya dig it like a grave!

It's August again, and when those hot nights roll in, we get to craving...what are we hungry for? Meat and mayhem, which is exactly what you get in Tobe Hooper's genre-bending sequel, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2! We covered the OG Texas Chain Saw (note the spacing there) last August, and felt this was the perfect time to revisit the follow-up, which also happens to be Alex's favorite movie. So, grab yourself some chili, maybe a little fry house, and tune in...the saw ain't the only thing that's family around here!

Picture this.... you're at a summer camp and a killer is on the loose; the garden shears are missing; campers and counselors alike are being picked off; a legend begins to burn hot enough to roast marshmallows over; and George Constanza is there?! That's right folks, it's not Crystal Lake or Camp Arawak, it's 1981's "The Burning". We're talking about one of our favorite summer slashers while we try to beat the heat, so come join us, but don't look; he'll see you. Don't breathe; he'll hear you. Don't move; you're dead!

This week the brothers have braved the cold and isolation of Outpost 31 to bring you an episode on John Carpenter's 1982, sci-fi/horror masterpiece, "The Thing". Now, there's no reason not to trust us...we know we're human, and we know you'll dig this episode, as we get into the production woes and wins, the incredible effects, and possibly the best hair/beard combo ever worn, as sported by Kurt Russell.
