Season 4: The Epic Wrap Up
Wouldn't be Brunch Movies epic season without at least one epic delay! So here it is nearly 3 and a half months in the making: the season 4 finale. The brunch boys take a look at the Brunch Menu and see if any new favourite make the exclusive club. We dole out some awards in this years' Brunchies. And of course, we take a look at our declining listener numbers (which surely is due to the Joe Rogan Spotify boycott). With babies on the way this might be the last you hear from us for a while (or will it be?).

S4E24 Christmas Special 2022: It's a Wonderful Life
Its that gay old time of year (Christmas) and we're talking about being happy. Happy Christmas, as the brits say. This is the Christmas movie that wasn't but became a Christmas movie because PBS was too poor to play any films whose intellectual property hadn't become public domain. Come get your wings by ringing the Brunch Bell or jingle bells if you have 'em.

S4E23 Avatar: The one WITH airbending
The elemental and epic season comes to a close and we welcome editor Jack aka Jedi to help us out. We revisit M. Knight Shyamalan's un-classic Avatar; based on a children's cartoon...brought to life as a child's nightmare. Will Aang master the elements? When will the Jungle season premier?
-
74
S4E22 2001: A Space Odyssey
We made it to the final episode of the epic season, filled with movies of epic length (Lawrence of Arabia), epic scale (Lord of the Rings), epic romance (Titanic) and epic stupidity (The Snyder Cut). We thought we had fully explored all the elements (say em with me...) but we had forgot to ponder the absence of all elements: the Space Element.
-
73

-

S4E18 Dune
Its Dune the biggest movie of the year, and maybe the greatest sand film of all time? Well we don't go that far, but file this under the sand element you Avatar heads (the air-bending one). I like my brunch with a bit of spice, and a body shield. The slow blade may pierce, but you'll want to hurry to your record players to hear the Brunch Boys break down this film!
-
69
S4E17 Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
When we say we're back, we're actually back. The epic season continues with a maybe not so epic movie...but we do master the element of Air and thus complete our Avatar training (the one with air bending).
-
68
S4E16 Reign of Fire
Dave and Andy aka the Brunch Boys are back, and nothing could be scarier than that. Dragons! Fire! Matthew McConaughey! This is as halloweeny as we got. We missed you and we hope to be back for the rest of the year! But don't hold us to it.
-
67
S4E15 Avatar (but the one without airbending)
Dave and Andy are confused over which is the real Avatar, and they take a break to watch Gravity. That is to say this episode is typically meandering. Does the most popular movie of all time equal brunchiness? Find out on this week's episode!
-
66
S4E14 Waterworld
Kevin Costner does have gills in this one! Flop like a fish? Or flop like a Flintstone? We get into Pangaea and why no one ever talks about the Panthassic ocean.
-
65
S4E13 Black Widow
The blacker the widow the sweeter the juice. The MCU is back baby, but Dave is high from getting dose 1 of the COVID vaccine so he's too busy for the podcast. Andy enlists his old pal Mike to talk about the lastest epic in the Avengers saga. Lots of bits and free flowing conversation, and we may mention the film a bit.

-

-

S4E8 The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
With Andy moving to Middle Earth, the brunch boys figure they should travel from one town (the shire) to another town (mordor) and log all their breakfasts, second breakfasts, elevenzies, dinners and suppers along the way. In examining the first in this classic Peter Jackson trilogy, Dave and Andy grapple with who's their perfect huMANoid, how easily canceled Tolkien is, and figure out where it ranks among fantasy epics and brunch movies

S4E6: The Ten Commandments
The real boys of brunch are back from 40 days and 40 nights in the desert, only to find themselves back in the desert. But the good news is, we love the desert! We catch up with G-D, Ramses, Moses and Dathan (all you favourites from the Jewish Bible aka Torah). Is religion brunch? Or are our sinful ways of early morning boozing doom us to burn with the bushes?
-
57
S4E5: Cloud Atlast (Not Another Coup d'Todd)
Jon here again. Still no sign of Dave or Andy from their desert adventure but the Brunch Movies brain trust has the future of the show well in hand. In this episode Todd and I painstakingly reconstruct the lost episode of Cloud Atlas, feed my new podcasting algorithm some new takes and cakes of our own, and discuss the future of the show and how this is definitely not another coup, it's completely sanctioned and a legitimate episode. Todd swears to God. Swears to me!
-

S4E4 Lawrence of Arabia

Anyway, here's your latest Brunch Movies episode in the most epic of seasons!

S3E8 Parasite
This movie isn't in English. Meaning the brunch boys had to read in order to process this film. And like your brunch menus we recommend that your movies are in English. This also won best picture at an award's show called the Oscars, and Trump said Gone with the Wind should have won so maybe we should have watched that instead? Anyway, beware of birds.
