Burning Bear Podcast
by Anthony
Welcome to the Burning Bear Podcast. I am your host, Anthony Canania, aka Buring Bear, and I'd like to tell you a story. A long time ago, a young veteran had just returned from fighting a war in a foreign land. Long before the time of PTSD diagnosis, veteran-led outreach, and public awareness. Mentally and emotionally damaged, our veteran was sent home to embark on his next challenge, the journey of life. He went on to get married, have children, go to college, start a career, and eventually hear the calling of ministry. As you may have already surmised, it wasn’t long before the divorce came, the kids were traumatized, and our humble pastor had left the faith. Lost and floundering, the next few years were plagued with depression, suicidal ideation, and a drinking habit that would make any Irishman proud. It was dark times full of pain, misery, regret, and despair. Then, one day, an old wizard appeared selling a magic potion of spiritual awakening and healing called Ayahuasca. Our v

Foundations: Micro-Change
Most success comes not from giant leaps, but from tiny, strategic shifts—what I call Micro Change. In this episode, I reveal how making small, deliberate adjustments over time transformed my health, mindset, and life. If you're tired of crash diets, failed routines, or feeling overwhelmed by change, this episode will show you a smarter way to get lasting results without burnout or frustration. Starting in 2019, I struggled with weight gain, unhealthy habits, and the chaos of quick fixes. Then I discovered the power of micro change—focusing on one habit at a time, giving myself a clear three-week window to track, adapt, and assess. This approach not only helped me manage my sugar addiction, implement fasting, and refine my diet, but it also revolutionized my mental health practices. I learned that consistency in small steps breeds sustainable success.
