Maybe we don’t like talking about it. Maybe we would prefer not to think about it—or even to perceive it. But there is something about humanity that you need to know and understand very well. Because if you cannot confront it, you can become the effect of it. And I would be willing to bet that many of you already have.

We have covered a lot of ground in the hundreds of episodes of BusinessWISE, all with one purpose: to help you achieve more success and expansion. But what does that essentially mean? MORE PRODUCTION. Because when all the bright ideas and planning are done—when you’ve organized, promoted and prepared—where the rubber meets the road is: WHERE’S THE PRODUCT? And if there isn’t one, you had better know how to demand one and get one—either from yourself or someone else. That is the skill we are covering in this week’s episode.  

There is a very useful and rather clever approach that many of us old salts use whenever we find ourselves in a tight spot. We simply ask ourselves, "What would Ron do?" I recommend this highly—provided you have the confront and the guts to follow the answer. And wouldn't you know it? LRH actually wrote an article that lays out some of his most stable data on handling situations, making it much easier to answer that very question. That is the subject of this episode.  

Life is a GAME, as we covered in an earlier episode. Every game has barriers. You know that. In fact, if you've ever tried to accomplish anything worthwhile, you've run into plenty of them. But of all the barriers you will ever face, there is one that comes first. Until you overcome it, you can never truly begin to win. What is it? That's exactly what we're going to cover in this episode.

We've talked about games before, and I wouldn't be surprised if most BusinessWISE listeners could tell me the three basic elements of a game. Yet there is one aspect of games, identified by Mr. Hubbard, that is frequently overlooked. Ironically, it may be the very factor that determines whether you have a winning game or a losing one. Let's take a closer look.

Most of us have had the experience, and all too often, of spending time with someone after which one feels completely drained.  These are the energy thieves, and if we can we try to avoid them.  But there is something more valuable to be learned here.  Discovering the CAUSE of the phenomena puts YOU at cause, and leads you to what LRH refers to as man’s highest virtue.

Few people go through life without making enemies. Gone are the days of settling disputes through a duel, a showdown with a six-gun on your hip, or, as was once done in English public schools, a few rounds in the boxing ring. Today, the most common way to destroy someone is to destroy their reputation—usually from a hidden source. It is a cowardly operation, but that does not make it any less painful or destructive. The first step in handling Black PR is recognizing it for what it is. Listen carefully to this episode. It could save your career, your business, or even your life.

There is a powerful wavelength that can and should be incorporated into virtually every move you make in business. When properly applied, it can dramatically increase your effectiveness, improve communication, strengthen public perception, and raise your odds of success. Best of all, it is simple, practical, and surprisingly enjoyable to use.

We have done many episodes on the Org Board over the years.  None is more important than this one, but it has remained buried in the archives. This understanding of the Org Board will help more than your business; it can put your whole life on the fast track to success.

How is it going building your dream—and your team? The two are inseparable, aren't they? Most of us have goals that are simply too large to accomplish alone. Sooner or later, if we are going to achieve them, we must learn to build a team. And the moment we begin building a team, we are confronted with the subject of leadership. In actual fact, there is no leadership without teambuilding, and there is no teambuilding without leadership. So let's spend a little time on both.

There are some episodes of BusinessWISE where, while we’re putting them together, I find myself wondering if this might be the most important episode we’ve ever done. This one falls into that category. I won’t say it’s the most important—but it is damn important, I can tell you that. It may explain why you sweat and toil to expand your business.

If you are using the Hubbard management system, you are using Stat Management.  Conversely, the more you know about and apply statistical management, the more you are using the Hubbard management system.  But here and there some think they are using stat management when they are actually using “stat push”.   It pays to understand the difference.

There are four conditions that are completely within your control to handle that, left untended, mean certain self-destruction of the group.  This is condition Number 3.  Learn about it so you don’t go effect of it, and learn the remedy.

Show me an entrepreneur who isn’t interested in controlling income — and I’ll show you someone who won’t stay in business very long. But there is a basic fundamental here that many are tempted to overlook. Master this one point and you take a decisive first step toward stabilizing and expanding your income.  Ignore it — and it will cost you.

The second cause of business suicide is unfortunately all too common and becoming more so.  You need to be especially alert for this one. If you have customers yelling in reception, chances are it comes from this.

When we think of success in achieving our goals, we often think of discipline.  We know it takes discipline to attain them.  And when we think of discipline, we usually think of hard training and constant correction towards perfection.  But there is another factor, perhaps the most important one, you will learn about in this episode.
