Oosterhuis. The First of the Hippocratics Doctors.
From the second half of 2022“QUICK WATCH BEFORE YOU KNOW WHAT.” This statement is a symbol of those early Covid times. Interviews like these were quickly removed and the creator and even those who shared the post were given temporary social media bans.It was the dawn of a new kind of Censorship. This interview with Dr Oost was the first time he had appeared in the Cafe. How much do you think has changed in 4 years? On social media, a Sydney doctor questioned whether vaccines andlockdowns would be effective in ending the pandemic while also scrutinizing how medical authorities were handling treatment. As a result of his postings, New South Wales medical authorities have taken action against Dr. Paul Oosterhuis by suspending him.Oosterhuis’ social media activities have garnered at least two anonymous complaints to the medical council, the group confirmed on September 2nd.“Over the last 18 months, I have been increasingly concerned about the misinformation and censorship creeping into science and medicine,” the doctor had stated.Oosterhuis recommended that medical authorities advise COVID-19 patients to take vitamin D and zinc and to treat them with ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. He called the lockdowns “totalitarian” and causing “massive damage to society-wide.” This is a public episode. Move on? How? After the jab, my once healthy Son, an athlete, required at Heart Transplant.
I am a 56 yr old radiographer (30yrs). My wife and I have been married for 30yrs. We have 3 children – currently 22yrs ( boy), 24yrs (girl), 26yrs (Rhys). We are an active, healthy family – the children have all played competitive sport through childhood. The children prior to Rhys’ cardiac arrest had no chronic illness.Rhys was playing touch footy 2 nights per week, tennis fixtures, Pennant golf for years prior to his arrest.Rhys had 2 Pfizer Comirnaty (Sept and Oct 2021) – 3 weeks apart as per TGA recommendation. This recommendation for dosage interval was changed to 8-12 weeks apart at about the time of Rhys’ arrest in March 2022. This is, apparently, despite the message that there were no significant safety signals of note. I do wonder what effect changing the dosage interval had on efficacy of the product. Interesting question, considering “the science is settled” and we were constantly told the product was “safe and effective” and we should just comply.Within a week, Rhys was feeling fatigued, experiencing night sweats, and a noticeable exertional dyspnoea (shortness of breath) and feeling of “being unfit”. Without any serious warnings at the time to be vigilant with respect to these symptoms, Rhys continued working and playing his sport. On the night of March 15, 2022 Rhys suffered a cardiac arrest whilst playing touch footy. Fortunately, Tim and Dan provided immediate (and effective) basic life support in the form of CPR and external defibrillation. Rhys was taken to hospital, still unconscious after approximately 60mins of automated CPR and 10 defibrillations (shocks). My wife and I attended the hospital to be told Rhys hadn’t been resuscitated. 5 mins later, the emergency staff started Rhys’ heart and stabilised him. He spent 3 weeks in ICU and CCU, an Implantable Cardioverter Defribillator (ICD) was inserted. Rhys returned home with heart failure. His heart was irreparably damaged due to scarring of his myocardium (heart muscle), causing arrthymia and disturbance to normal electrical activity.Rhys attempted to rehab at home and return to normal work, sport and social activities with little success. His health, both mental and physical deteriorated. He returned to hospital on numerous occasions with complications and work-up for transplantation. In Jan 2024, we took Rhys to the beach for a holiday to try and show him some normality. It was during this period that I realised the extent of Rhys’ health crisis – he was unable to walk to the water to swim or traverse steps off the beach without assistance. A few weeks later, we admitted Rhys back to hospital with severe shortness of breath and abdominal pain. His abdomen was full of ascites (fluid) due to his heart failure. After being diagnosed with Covid and placed in an infectious diseases ward and placed on a novel anti-viral (which I questioned), Rhys was admitted to ICU and immediately put on ECMO (life support) to attempt to improve his kidney and liver function and overall health as a step toward a LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) procedure (open heart) as a bridge to heart transplantation.80 days in ICU later, multiple complications, being told twice that the medical staff were pessimistic about Rhys’ chance of survival, we were all blessed that Rhys received a heart transplant to survive. The emotional and physical toll on the whole (extended) family cannot be described in words.Rhys would not be alive if not for the skill of his medical team. After more rehab in hospital, Rhys returned home and remains at home, attempting to regain both physical and mental strength. His life (and life passage and life expectancy) has been changed forever. He is doing relatively well.About the medical professions’ reluctance to discuss causation, vaccine requirements for transplantation, use of novel anti-virals, medical professional regulatory requirements and professional reprisal for non-compliance, TGA failure to investigate and act upon serious adverse events, TGA funding (approx. 95% by the industry they regulate), our (now closed) onerous Federal Compensation Scheme for vaccine adverse events which has shelled out 80 million dollars to approx. 400 injured Australians, our DAEN showing approx.. 130,000 adverse events by April 2021 and currently over 1000 deaths reported (on a safety surveillance system purported to be conservatively 30x under-reported), reluctance of our mainstream media and the majority of federal politicians to report this tragedy, the reluctance of the Prime Minister to follow through with his Royal Commission on the country’s Covid response, censorship of anyone questioning the prevailing narrative, the legal ruling that the Australian Government has an “indeterminate duty of care” during hearings of the Covid Class Action, which represents over 2000 Australians who believe they have been injured and ignored and are entitled to a fair hearing, and fair justice…….. well, we may have to wait. Dr Dooley: Who is AHPRA, and why do they rule our Doctors, and WHO controls them?
Dr Dooley, from New Zealand, came on the Epic Podcast and told us that somewhere in the USA is a small building from which the APHRA’s of the world, which means all your doctors, are controlled. Is he right?Let’s hear him out and decide.Bruce Ross Dooley MD MSBruce has been practicing Functional (CAM, Integrative) Medicine since 1990. Prior to that, at the age of 28 and as an Emergency Medicine physician, he opened two minor emergency centres, one in Park City, Utah and the other in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.Bruce then went on to open a total of four Integrative centres in Florida featuring EDTA Chelation therapy. During that period, he also founded two international companies: Marine Medical which outfitted and trained Yacht crews, and MercOut International for the testing and treating of mercury poisoning. He travelled globally training physicians on the the importance of considering, testing, and treating mercury toxicity using the 30-day oral MercOut program he created. In the mid 90’s Bruce ran into opposition from the Florida Board of Medicine over his advocating EDTA Chelation Therapy for arterial disease. As a result of this battle and his being on the Board of the American College for the Advancement of Medicine (ACAM) , a 1,200-strong CAM physician organization, he learned about the 110-year-old Federation of State Medical Boards. Attending two of FSMB’s annual meetings “undercover” in 1998 and 1999, he then gave testimony in Washington DC before the 2001 Clinton White House Commission on CAM and revealed FSMB’s massive control over the U.S. Medical Boards and their efforts to wipe out CAM and other natural therapies.Bruce received his B.S at St. Joseph’s University (Philadelphia), his M.S. in Immunology at Villanova University (Pennsylvania), and his M.D. at Thomas Jefferson Medical College (Philadelphia). He has active medical licensure in Hawaii, Florida, and New Zealand. Presently he lives in Golden Bay, NZ with his wife Inna and daughter Kyra and sees patients as a private consultant.Back in the day 30 or so years ago if a doctor had no clue what was wrong with a person they would say that person most likely had a virus. It was like it gave the doctor something to say so they seemed all smart and knowing. The thing is that doctor had not a damned clue and in many cases they would prescribe some antibiotic. They were clueless and the virus BS was a get out of jail card. Only those who experienced this will see the common thread in so called medicine. When getting no answers the smart ones saw straight through that white coat and we went towards the alternative medicine field and that is where we got more answers than any doctor could ever give. It made the doctors only useful in cases where we needed to get access to their equipment like an xray for a fractured bone. We got advice on how to keep our body healthy, doctors certainly don’t do that. They are not taught how to keep the body healthy and well. The doctors are simply drug pushers only. 40-Year Holistic Health Practitioner: Bridging Herbs, Yoga, Nursing & Natural Medicine
I have called myself a holistic Healthcare Practitioner for nearly 40 years.Commencing with herbs and yoga interest and studies, I then reluctantly started studied nursing from the mid 80s from the ground up, EN, then EEN, then RN mainly for patient contact experience. Nursing has only a fraction of my healthcare interest, the allopathic perspective has given my own clinical and academic work a greater perspective on healthcare analysis, hence the term ‘holistic’ is my emphasis. In addition, nursing was the last thing i did as a foundation, and I have respected the nursing profession for decades, however, my nursing studies gave me a stepping stone to further expand my studies in natural lifestyle and medicine that included:. yoga and herbs, nutrient, massage , and a university Masters degree in biology of aging, stress physiology/management, health education/promotion and more. The main point here is my primary focus always was , always will be holistic health. Hence, I have practised as a holistic health practitioner for nearly 40 years. Prior to the scamdemic beginning I had or was clinically practising, teaching yoga classes, teaching degree students Health Science subjects, nursing and involved in further studying as I have continued to upgraded my studies for decades. My clinic work never ceased. This particular course at the time was extremely important to me as cancer is both a personal and professional interest of importance. The course by a renowned Australian herbalist Prof. Kerry Bone, called ‘ functional herbal therapy for cancer’, I had won a grant through Australian Traditional Medicine Society ( ATMS) to do. On completion I produced a schematic that was viewed by Dr Joachim Fluhrer who invited myself to speak at an international cancer conference in 2020. Whilst preparing my talk I was continually receiving journal studies on a novel coronavirus that stopped the planet. All i can say here is OMG , what a con and i knew it before the hype exploded into the ether. You see my first herbalist teacher Simon Schot back in 1983 said...” you cant catch a cold!.” So for myself I knew the hype was misleading. Two jobs I let go of plus an all expenses OS trip, nothing was worth risking my health for an experiment so I maintained my stance .I had also been let go from the hospital I worked at for 19 years in 2016 because I refused the Hep B. Steven Porter Moree Protecting Aboriginal Allodial Sovereign Rights
We’ve all got different nationalities in this country. I don”t class myself as an Australian Aboriginal or as Indigenous. I’m a Walaraay Mari of the Gamilaraay Nation. We have never been classified as our allodial nationalities. Does this government or any law in this country acknowledge me and my nationality? The establishment of this country was illegal. You cannot discover something where it was already occupied plain and simple.Australia’s first nation people only make up 2.9% of the whole population and the illegal government want 97.1% of the population to vote on our liberties. That’s not democracy, that’s indoctrination. If there’s going to be a Referendum it needs to be put to us, the First Nations people of this country. Ask us if we would like to be included in this country’s Constitution. This is a public episode. Burying Caitlin Gotze's in their lies?
Caitlin Georgia Gotze was a 23-year-old fit, healthy racing foreman (stable hand/leading hand) from Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. She died suddenly on November 17, 2021, at her workplace. Her death became a notable case in Australian discussions around COVID-19 vaccine mandates, adverse events, workplace safety, and coronial processes. Her mother, Raelene Gotze (also referred to as Raelene Kennedy in some reports), has been a vocal advocate seeking further investigation, an inquest, and accountability. This is a deeply tragic story involving a young life cut short. Show notes aim for factual summary while noting the disputes between official records and family claims. Always approach with sensitivity.Tonight Dr Oosterhuis wants to highlight findings in the Coroner’s report that point not to an Asthma Attack but to a vaccine injury death. This is a public episode. In the War on Bees, is the Varroa Mite being used as a business Weapon?
Simon Mulvany is the founder of Save the Bees Australia. For the past eight years he has been fighting to protect both native bees and honey bees.He has been in a long-running battle against Hive & Wellness Australia (formerly Capilano Honey Limited), one of Australia’s largest honey companies.Simon has recently exposed serious allegations made by a former Land Manager of Duxton Bees, part of the Duxton Group. The Duxton Group manages over $1.1 billion in agricultural assets, including water rights and large-scale farms. They are currently one of the largest commercial beekeepers in Australia and are launching their Fuzzy Bum honey into Woolworths this week. The allegations include claims that Duxton deliberately spread a treatment-resistant “Supermite” strain of Varroa in an attempt to gain a competitive advantage by destroying family beekeeping businesses.Michael This is a public episode. One Good Husband & the comment of the year
Heterosexual love is rarely praised anymore, but Kim’s comment about why he cares for his wife was as beautiful and as real as any Shakespearean sonnet. After the show, I told my parents what he’d said, because after 62 years married, my dad cares for my mum the same way. “That’s what I always tell them,” Dad said.“They’re always calling me your mum’s carer, and I always reply, ‘I’m not her carer — I’m her husband.’”Years ago, these men pledged to love their women, their wives, in sickness and in health. I guess to some men — like Kim, my father, and many others — they actually meant what they said when they made this vow, “I do.”But instead of celebrating these great heterosexual lovers, we have a court system primed to rip these men from their families and a media that loves to label them “toxic.”Well, when we lose the ability to value real love — that tenacious love stripped down to its core union, which still holds two hearts together despite the storms of hardship and loss — then perhaps it’s time for all of us to pause, look into the private mirror hiding in our souls, and ask:“Mirror, mirror in my soul, in the time I have left in this light, is there someone out there I can truly love?”Michael This is a public episode. The Persecution of Dr My Le Trinh
The persecution of Dr My-Le Trinh is a perfect example of how out of control our government is.The only outcome they appear to desire is one thing: obedience. This hunger for obedience overrides common sense, what's good for society in general, and—most disturbing of all—the Hippocratic Oath. Her crime?During COVID, when ivermectin was still legal to prescribe off-label, she administered it to a woman who was dying from COVID but had checked herself out of hospital. Not only did the treatment work, but Dr Trinh believes she saved the woman's life.Yet the punishment has been suspension of her licence, years of being dragged through these cases, and all the money she's had to spend defending herself.Dr My-Le Trinh is from Cambodia. She lost her mother to the Killing Fields under Pol Pot's regime, and after arriving in Australia as a refugee, she worked her way up from a sweatshop—where she helped manufacture suits and the like—to becoming a GP.For over thirty years she worked as a GP, even at one point having her own clinic with several doctors, and in all that time she never received a single complaint. We have hospitals in this country without enough doctors, and we have great doctors like her—doctors Australians need—fighting for her right to practise and be the good doctor she is. So how do we, as a society, benefit from this?Michael Gray Griffith This is a public episode. Meet Thaïs d'Escufon, the French Activist they tried to jail for calling our Migrant Rapists
Interview with the French Woman,I’m the former spokesperson of Génération identitaire in France, I started activism at 18 in a youth movement fighting against mass migration and for the defense of our identity. Our actions were in fact inspired by the Australian immigration policy of the “no way”.But the movement was banned on 2021.Since then, I’ve been sued multiple times for stating facts and standing position against immigration. In 2022 I was victim of an attempted rape by a tunisian migrant at my home.On french TV on 2023, when commenting the rape of another french woman, and still moved by my own experience, I said that“The principal danger for women in France were black and Arab immigrant men”.For these words, the prosecutor (a woman) has sought a 4 months unsuspended prison sentence against me.Meanwhile, my tunisian attacker is still free because of a lack of pursuit from the french police. Here is the extract of the french TV concerned by the justice : I also sent you a picture of me on the roof that made me famous for and another picture of me to introduce myself. One of our actions at generation identity France where you can see the “no way” banner inspired by australian policy I told the attempted rape story on french tv 4 years ago This is a public episode. Is the pack of Trolls attacking The CLO QUIZ SHOW Actually a team from ASIO's Signal Dept?
This is the claim from a caller today.Add to the fact that one of the emails we gathered from last weeks attack, was an ASIO email, (Although that could have been faked). But the fact that the team of trolls is so ferocious and coordinated and have clearly studied not just us, but our viewers for a long time(They Clone some of our Viewers Profiles. The regulars.)Then, often at 9pm, they stop, as though their shift had ended. Now if it is, then for a team of spooks to work late Monday night, would be a lot of overtime, all paid for by you, the tax payer. And this is in a time of enormous financial distress. We are interviewing homeless people now, people driven into destitution by the policies of our governments. Policies we are allowed to question. Not only that, but if it is ASIO, then this points to the fact that they are so focused on us, and perhaps other podcasters, that this was how they could have overlooked that the Bondi shooter's father owned six rifles.Other evidence. Reply from Esafty Commissioner regarding are we being shadow banned or censored . . . Answer, Apparently by a third party??WHO COULD THAT BE, THAT THEY HAD THE POWER TO OVERRIDE THE E-SAFETY COMMSIONER? The Government, some department in the Government? A powerful one maybe? More to come. Are you blinded by the same ideology as the police who arrested Henry Nowak? They couldn't see the truth, that instead of a drunk racist, they were actually arresting a young man who was dying. To your eyes, it seems I am a domestic threat, where instead, I am just an old artist in an old bus, with my lovely girl, and we are trying to record a sliver of who we, as Australians, actually are, now.And why are we doing this?Because we love it, and because we're a little crazy, or maybe, despite all of your hate, we feel free, and the feeling is worth fighting for.Michael Gray GriffithCafe Locked Out This is a public episode. Where the Good Grows.
Where the Good GrowsIn a dark park, the ice-addict was so pissed off about something that he took a long knife and stabbed a fellow junkie in the back with it. He stabbed him so hard Michael Bartlett claimed the blade went right through the man’s body. Then, as other people tried to subdue the stabber, Michael—an ex-registered nurse—dropped to his knees.Unable to see if the group had successfully warded off the attacker, he proceeded to tend to the victim’s wounds.By the time emergency services arrived, he had stopped the bleeding and sealed the wound. But instead of Channel Nine running a hero piece on him, or the police taking his details so they could recommend him for a hero’s award, Michael, once everything had calmed down, simply returned to his home: the front seat of his car.He behind the driver’s seat, Diane in the passenger seat, both still full of adrenaline. They would pray to God, then wait for sleep.God, Michael believed, had warned him not to take the jab. Since then, the unjabbed couple had lost their new house and ended up living in an old caravan with their fourteen-year-old son. A few years later, because they couldn’t get back on their feet, the authorities removed their boy. While there are a few areas they didn’t tell me about—and I sensed they were extraordinarily difficult times, including a long stay in a mental health facility for Michael, who admits he broke—they lost the caravan too, along with all their possessions. Finally, they were able to access some of their super and bought the campervan they’re living in today, parked in a remote showground in Queensland. They pay $27 a night to stay, and Diane doesn’t have to worry about the rangers coming back because they own nothing now that the rangers would want. But wherever they are camped, they are not alone. Down here upon the rocks of society, a safety net is being established. A net that, once you realise you are as almost naked as you arrived (except your mother is there to hold you), can wrap itself around you like an op-shop blanket.Kew Library Lullaby Homage to a Homeless single motherBased on a true story. Lyrics MGGSuddenly there’s hungry people asking if you’re hungry, before splitting their food and offering you some. And while they never use the phrase, what they are really saying is: I can’t save you, my brother, my sister, but I can be your temporary shelter from the storm. And with so many storms breaking, with the winds of forced change ripping the gold from our golden days, this is what we are finding: unconditional kindness where we’ve been taught it would be dog-eat-dog. Pure and unadulterated empathy where we’ve been taught there were only rocks. What if there is a flaw in their system of destruction; an irremovable splinter implanted in us by God before we have even contemplated leaving the womb? A relic to them, but a series of bridges connecting us at levels you have to reach destitution to find.Bridges built from something that was here long before us and that all the hate that has ever been, has been able to burn them all.I can see them now, in my mind’s eye, as I finish writing this. An ever re-connecting series of illuminated bridges that can form and reform upon nothing more than the smile of a stranger.A vast and entangled series of bridges connecting soul after aching soul, in a process that angels have christened, The Hope for us All.Henry’s HandMichael Gray GriffithFor Michael and Diane Barnett. For more essays from Michael why not read his book. I was Committed to an Asylum for questioning the Jab
"I eventually became a builder in late 2020 due to my now abundant free timeafter losing nearly 6 months of work as soon as the scam began, and were ableto stave off hardship by being allowed to access superannuation. In early 2021, a good friend and a man I trusted, asked me to investigate thePandemic as he stated “something isn’t right with this” and thus began myjourney for information. After being guided to much information, I began to see a framework ofdeception, like most, my views on many aspects changed, especiallyvaccination for children. In late 2021, I received a calling to do ministerial work, and after becoming aChristian, I changed my whole life around. Jodie's Son. . .Interviewed by Kelli
We pulled into a tiny hamlet and everything was going wrong,so Kel said, “Stuff this, we’re not meant to be here. Let’s head to the next town. There must be something for us there.”So despite being tired, we headed to Busselton. While we were booking into a van park, a woman asked what our bus was about, and Kel told her. Then she stuck her head in the window and said to me, “I have a story.”Her name was Jodie. When she started telling her story about the birth of her son, Kelli was so engrossed that I said, “You do this one.”And she did. This is Jodie’s story. The lesson we’re learning out here, in the broken heart of our land, is that despite our politicians trying to laminate our culture with lies and division, the people down here—who have lost or are losing everything—are still helping each other. They are healing the heart of Australia.Which reminds me of my favourite quote from my favourite playwright:“Whoever you are — I have always depended on the kindness of strangers.”— Blanche DuBois (in A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams)If you would like to support our work, please consider buying our book, which we are happy to sign. The Mother who Chose, or Joyce's Fort of Love
We were camped near a tiny Western Australian town we’d never heard of — Brunswick. When we woke, Kelli found a note on our windscreen thanking us for our work and offering us a “place” for a shower. The woman’s name was Joyce. She had been a nurse until she lost her job due to the mandates and now lived here with her two sons Ellijah and Ryan.I told her we love interviewing nurses who had lived through this, because one day people will look back astounded that the Government let our hospitals run short-staffed, rather than rehire them. But when we reached her house, we discovered her true story was deeper and richer — and despite all the hardships, full of love. That’s how I think of the house now: a slightly run-down Fort of Love. This is a public episode. Geert Vanden Bossche PHD- is in the Cafe with Dr Oosterhuis and MGG
Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche is a Belgian virologist with decades of experience in vaccine research and development. He holds a DVM from the University of Ghent and a PhD in Virology from the University of Hohenheim, Germany. He has held academic positions and worked in senior roles at major vaccine companies including GSK Biologicals, Novartis Vaccines, and Solvay Biologicals.Vanden Bossche later served as Senior Program Officer for Vaccine Discovery at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle and coordinated the Ebola Vaccine Program for GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization). He has also been Head of the Vaccine Development Office at the German Center for Infection Research and founded his own vaccine startup, Univac. He rose to international prominence in early 2021 when he published an open letter to the WHO warning that mass COVID-19 vaccination during a pandemic could drive immune escape, leading to more infectious and potentially dangerous variants. His central argument has been that antibody-based vaccines applied under high viral pressure could weaken the population’s innate immunity — particularly natural killer (NK) cells — and push the virus toward greater virulence.Today, Dr. Vanden Bossche works as an independent Biotech and Vaccine consultant while continuing his own research into Natural Killer (NK) cell-based vaccines, which he believes could offer a safer, more universal approach to immunization. He remains a vocal critic of certain mass vaccination strategies and continues to publish analyses and speak on immune biology, viral evolution, and pandemic preparedness through his platform Voice for Science and Solidarity. Here at Cafe Locked Out, we don’t receive government assistance, and we don’t have corporate sponsors — we like it that way. The Doctors who quit being Doctors so that they could be Doctors.
On the road you find the stories history eats for breakfast. For every one we record how many of them are lost forever. And yet it is well known that we build our identity upon stories. In fact, culture is downstream from politics, which is why—maybe—they have quietly captured the Arts by funding mainly the Woke agenda. The same agenda, which is trying to cement itself as our new religion, a cultivated ideology that you can’t challenge (unless you want to be cancelled), has seeped into all our institutions and removed every safeguard.Until carving up our children’s breasts and genitals before leaving them infertile, whilst also leaving our full-term aborted babies to die in bowls, is now the norm. We watched our leaders squirm as they struggled to answer the simple question: what is a woman? Here at Cafe Locked Out, we don’t receive government assistance, and we don’t have corporate sponsors — we like it that way. CLO SPECIAL, In Praise of the 'Hero Doctor', Dr Denes Borsos.
Dr. Borsos has been deregistered and is banned from reapplying to practise as a Doctor for five years. His only “true crime” was adhering to his Hippocratic Oath — “First, do no harm” — which is why he offered vaccine exemptions. He had serious concerns about the safety of the COVID vaccines. For this, he was suspended in early 2022 — over four years ago — meaning his total punishment will now amount to just under ten years. This Saturday night, we are hosting a special show featuring several doctors who got in trouble for challenging the COVID narrative. They will be appearing to show their support for Dr. Borsos, who many regard as a folk hero. We’d love for you to join us.The show starts at 8pm AEST, with multiple doctors sharing their experiences of standing against the narrative. Update on AHPRAH's Professional Assassination of an Heroic Doctor, Dr Borsos
The Professional Assassination of a Heroic DoctorThey weren’t just playing by different rules. They were playing a different game—one where the things we were prepared to defend meant nothing to them.Doctor Denes BorsosIM: MGGEthics, informed consent, the Hippocratic oath—all of it fell to one rule: just shut up and take the vaccine. Or, if you were a doctor, shut up and inject all of your patients. No exemptions.Denes’ surgery was down a long back street in Colac. He was born in Romanian-controlled Hungary, which his family eventually escaped before arriving on our shores and beginning the long process of adapting to freedom. The first sign of that freedom? Supermarkets full of products and food. Abundance.Denes became the go-to doctor at the town’s hospital. He could work as an anesthetist, deliver babies, and do everything in between. Handsome and staggeringly clever, he had a dry sense of humor grounded in the reality of life as he saw it.Initially a believer in vaccines, Denes had four daughters. But then one toppled into the autism spectrum and never returned. When you visit their home, she haunts the house like an independent ghost, scanning benches and tables for food. Then another daughter had a large stroke as a baby that left her with Parkinson’s disease-like symptoms. He had done this, and he knew he could never undo it.Also, over the years of injecting babies in his obstetric practice, a direct experience crept up on him as he began noticing the frequent injuries in his religiously injected clientele, as opposed to the healthy children of mothers who had vaccinated their children later, or only partially, or avoided the injections altogether. The final blow to his belief in vaccines was the realization that many infectious diseases had vanished long before vaccines were introduced.Dr Hobart, Dr Borsos, Dr Oosterhuis. All three were suspended for challenging the mandates. Dr Oosterhuis won his registration back, by self representing himself, in the Supreme Court, but he no longer wishes to work under the control of APHRA.IM MGGYet, while he was still a doctor, he also knew more was coming. For years, he could sense the slow boil of authoritarianism creeping into medicine—robbing doctors of autonomy, policy by policy. That’s why he bought a farm and started investing—he knew his days as a doctor were numbered. As his family had once fled communism, he too would either flee this new control or be persecuted by it when asked to do something that violated his convictions—something he simply couldn’t do. But reality remained: he still had a family to support. The mandates were the approaching end.Cafe Locked Out drove Dr Oosterhuis and Dr Hobart to Colac to make this short doco. It was our first doco and we shot it in a day, so apologies for the quality.Yet, rather than quit—or give the vaccine—he offered something else: a three-month exemption to anyone who asked. Three months to seek more information. To decide. This was on a Monday. He didn’t advertise it, but he knew what would happen. And it did—just a few days too early.I heard about him then. Woke up in Melbourne on a Wednesday to Facebook going crazy. A rural doctor was issuing exemptions to anyone who showed up at his surgery. His practice sat beneath his home, which was preceded by a kilometre-long road.On Monday, two people arrived seeking exemptions. On Tuesday, several more—the word had started to spread. And by Wednesday morning, there was a kilometre-long traffic jam down that country road. The steep driveway was full—people lined up four across. Kids played with the animals on the family property. His family brought water to the people waiting for hours. And then it happened. A man called me, desperate to share the story of this brave doctor. The highlight? After several police officers barricaded the entrance to his surgery, others went in and knocked on his door. Inside, the waiting room was packed—just an hour away from exemption.Denes On His small farmIM: MGGDenes appeared and asked the nearest officer: “Are you here for an exemption?” And in that line—in cars and along the driveway—were desperate police officers, local politicians, teachers, nurses, tradies—you name it. Victorians who didn’t want to be forced to take the vaccine but couldn’t face losing their jobs or homes. Just like Denes, who was about to lose his.To pay the bills now, he runs a tree-lopping business. Spends his days in a cherry picker, six metres in the air—while Colac struggles with a doctor shortage.I remember, too, how at the time, Channel Nine downloaded my phone interview and edited it down to a snippet. They tried to make the man on the phone sound appalled by Denes—rather than in awe of him. Such was the ethics of the mainstream media, working with the government to condemn anyone who challenged the mandates.Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. But in my time, they’ve always been easy to identify—usually celebrated by society. But not in this time. In this time, Australians were playing by the rules of pre-war Nazis—where shooting at protestors was praised, and pepper-spraying grandmothers went ignored. True heroes had to be silenced. Their stories purged from history. But even now, as fewer people are brave enough to speak their truth—even off the record—I remember. And I will always remember the man on the phone, whom I never met, recounting the story of the doctor who, at the cost of his career, briefly offered people hope. Who, in those dark times, was—in that caller’s words—the equivalent of Schindler. In May, after making him wait for several years, probably to make sure that no one cared anymore, Dr. Denis Borsos will face an AHPRA tribunal where he is expecting to be deregistered.Seems they have waited, as they have with other Doctors, for the public to lose interest before the finish what they started. The question is, how do you benefit for have brave, decent, competent Doctors, deregistered because they dared to uphold their Hippocratic oath: Especially, Do No Harm?Michael Gray GriffithCafe Locked OutIt’s official E-Karen (E Saftey Commissioner) is censoring our work, and since losing our main FB page with 100K follows plus, we survive of other FB pages X and Rumble. But due to the content of our work businesses are reluctant to advertise with us, we have to survive on the generosity of our audience. If you would like to see us continue, please consider a one off Gold Coin Donation, or taking out a paid subscription. Norafiah _ Former Midwife Turned Fierce Birth Freedom Advocate
In this powerful episode of Cafe Locked Out, we sit down with Norafiah, a former endorsed midwife with eight years of experience in tertiary hospitals and private practice. During the COVID period, her independent midwifery services surged as many women sought to avoid hospital births. This success triggered seven AHPRA complaints from doctors and fellow midwives—one specifically over her Facebook posts. After the seventh investigation, Norafiah courageously self-deregistered in August 2022.Undeterred, she continues supporting women through non-clinical avenues. She now offers pregnancy and postpartum massages, birth debriefs, healing ceremonies, and dedicated support for families who have experienced baby loss. Norafiah runs a mentorship program for birth supporters, monthly community massage days by donation (with her trained graduates), and an online mothers’ group for like-minded families focused on natural health, homeschooling, and complementary therapies. Women regularly seek her out through word-of-mouth referrals within aligned networks. As a volunteer committee member of the Maternity Consumer Network (a national advocacy group), Norafiah assists mothers with serious complaints involving birth trauma—cases of oxytocin overuse leading to infant death, forceps injuries causing skull and brain damage, emergency caesareans resulting in haemorrhage and hysterectomy, and widespread breaches of informed consent.Norafiah speaks openly about the medicalisation of birth, the government push to regulate doulas, and recent media focus on freebirth tragedies. She highlights the profound long-term differences observed between hospital-born babies and those born at home or freebirthed into calm, low-intervention environments with health-conscious, unvaccinated families. This conversation explores resilience in the face of regulatory pressure, the importance of birth freedom, and why how we welcome our children matters deeply for humanity’s future.Tune in for an honest, heartfelt discussion on autonomy, informed consent, and true support for women. DIE LAUGHING _ _ _ Join Fred Pawle and John Stapleton in the Cafe
Sunday 17 May, 2026.We sit down with Fred Pawle, one of Australian journalism’s great characters, to discuss his recently updated book Die Laughing: The Wild Life of Bill Leak.Though an ill-fit in corporate journalism, Pawle worked at The Australian for many years as a reporter and feature writer, alongside Bill Leak, the paper’s cartoonist.Leak was often called the most talented Australian artist never to win the Archibald Prize, while Pawle diplomatically describes his years at Murdoch’s News Limited as “formative” — one of the politest things anyone has ever said about their time at News. His renowned biography of Bill Leak, who was truly one of the funniest men alive, is being reissued.Much loved, Bill Leak was a razor-sharp satirist whose pen captured the absurdities and truths of Australian life for decades. He left an indelible mark on the nation’s cultural and political landscape. From his early days honing his craft to his later battles against institutional censorship, Leak’s story is one of fearless creativity and unapologetic honesty. The book delves into what shaped Leak – from his love of jazz and classical piano, his travels through Europe’s art galleries, to the personal and professional forces that turned him into a lightning rod for debate. Dragging him through the mud over accusations of racism, the Australian Human Rights Commission made his final years hell. The inexcusable bastardy of bureaucrats, safe on their high moral ground, was a peak of politically correct absurdity and an amazing waste of public money.Pawle’s updated edition offers fresh reflections on why Leak’s commitment to free expression remains vitally relevant in today’s divided Australia.Cafe Locked Out and A Sense of Place Magazine have built a reputation for thoughtful, no-holds-barred discussions on culture, politics, and the Australian experience. This episode promises to be no different – probing, engaging, and full of the wit and wisdom that Leak himself championed.Bill Leak was, above all, a fantastically gifted artist. Now, more than ever, Australia needs to celebrate its legends. To follow Fred Pawle’s work:SUBSTACKhttps://substack.com/@fredpawleOFFICIALhttps://fredpawle.com/TO BUY A REVISED EDITION OF DIE LAUGHING:https://wybornpress.com/TO READ BILL LEAK’S FINAL SPEECH, DELIVERED TWO DAYS BEFORE HIS UNEXPECTED DEATHhttps://asenseofplacemagazine.com/trigger-warning-by-bill-leak-1956-2017/--John StapletonCommissioning EditorA Sense of Place PublishingABN: 8589 215 7567Emails:[email protected]@gmail.comCafe Locked Out is entirely listener-supported. Bronwyn and Brad's Modern Australian Suburban Love Story . . .
Bronwyn and Brad’s StoryCafe Locked Out, On The RoadImagine driving past a vacant block — the foundation of the new life you’ve been dreaming of — but knowing you’ll never reach it. In the passenger seat is the man who made it all possible. He took just one jab to keep his job and provide for his family. Now he’s dying of turbo cancer.A young husband. A proud father who knows his two youngest children will barely remember him. This is the story of Brad and Bronwyn. It’s a story the three monkeys don’t want to see, hear, or speak about: the Government, the health industry, and the mainstream media. But now Brad is gone. Bronwyn is left alone, doing her best to be the mother her children need while carrying a grief most people will never understand. How do you mourn a husband who wasn’t taken by God…but by an Act of Parliament?A Mandate.Cafe Locked Out is entirely listener-supported. Emeritus Professor Ramesh Thakur : The Right to Health Sovereignty
With John Stapleton and Michael Gray GriffithVery few of the hundreds of thousands of Australian protesters who took to the streets during the authoritarian crackdowns of the Covid era realised that there was equally a backlash amongst some of the world’s most formidable intellectuals. In Australia, the most courageous and forthright of those was Emeritus Professor Ramesh Thakur in the Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University. He is widely regarded as one of Australia’s most esteemed academics in the fields of international relations, global governance, nuclear non-proliferation, and security studies. His extensive body of work – including as editor and author of more than 50 books – along with editorial roles, advisory positions with governments and international bodies, and frequent media contributions, all underscore this high standing. He served as Assistant Secretary-General at the United Nations from 1998 to 2007.Professor Thakur began publishing critical pieces on the government’s Covid response, including critiques of policies on masks, vaccines, and lockdowns, very early on.Some of his earliest essays on the subject were published in the policy magazine Pearls and Irritations, and subsequently in Spectator Australia. His articles critiquing official Covid responses were widely published around the world. His work was collected in the historically significant 2023 book Our Enemy The Government: How Covid Enabled the Expansion and Abuse of State Power. An updated Australian edition of the book is in the planning stages. There was simply no way that Australia’s politicians, as they repeated the “safe and effective” mantra ad nauseam and vilified, pepper-sprayed, and jailed Covid dissidents, did not know there was considerable scepticism about their actions from some of the world’s most respected epidemiologists. They were either illiterate, ill-informed or deliberately lying.Thakur was based in Canberra at the time he wrote some of his most penetrating critiques. Any bureaucrat or politician with an inquiring mind could have wandered down to his office at the Australian National University. None of them did.Among the most shocking developments as the pandemic dragged on for more than two years was the degree of coercion and force used by some of the best-known champions of democracy. The boundary between liberal democracy and draconian dictatorship proved to be virus-thin. Tools of repression – like unleashing heavily armed police on peacefully protesting citizens – once the identifying traits of fascists, communists, and tin-pot despots, became uncomfortably familiar on the streets of Western democracies.Interventions rooted in panic, driven by political machinations, and using all the levers of state power to terrify citizens and muzzle critics in the end needlessly killed massive numbers of the most vulnerable, while putting the vast low-risk majority under house arrest. The benefits were questionable, but the harms are increasingly obvious – revalidating Lord Acton’s dictum that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.Praise for Our Enemy The Government: How Covid Enabled the Expansion and Abuse of State Power:“This book is worth the attention of anyone who wants to understand how and why governments and the world’s health bureaucracies ignored the devastating harms and failures of the lockdown-focused policies they implemented during the Covid pandemic.”— Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Director of the National Institutes of Health in America, former Professor of Medicine at Stanford University, and co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration.“The emergence of Ramesh Thakur as a voice of reason during the last three years is one of the few good things to come out of the pandemic. I find it difficult to disagree with anything he says.”— Lord Toby Young, Founder and Editor-in-Chief, The Daily ScepticCafe Locked Out is entirely listener-supported. The ANZAC's Son. . . Reg's Story.
From the front of the condemned house, you could see the bay where the Anzacs had left to reach the shores of Gallipoli. He was sitting on a camp chair when I entered. The room was lit by the weak afternoon sun and he was full of cancer. He had a great story that he couldn’t see. He was Boxer from Animal Farm.A working-class man who’d been working ever since he was five or six, when his father, a farmer, taught him how to drive the tractor. He left school in Year Eight with two As and a B for everything else. Remarkably, he first got his licence driving a semi. His father drove him to town in theirs and off he went. When his parents sold the farm he became an interstate truck driver and spent his life on the roads. There’s a saying that Australia runs on its trucks.Well, the reason your toilet paper is nearly always on the shelf, or your bowser nearly always has fuel, is because of men like Reginald. Reg.Who now, after all those miles he’s driven, is sitting here talking to me, wondering why he ever bothered. His partner is in a nursing home, placed there by doctors after she struggled with their eviction from the caravan park. They’d bought a small two-bedroom unit there to live out their twilight years — a purchase that had a clause they must have missed in the hefty contract. When the caravan park was sold, the new owners demanded vacant possession. So he and his partner, along with over twenty other permanents, were evicted into a country where they no longer had the money to buy a new house and the rentals are scarce and sky-high.The Australian Dream is dying, like Reg.It has been betrayed by smiling politicians who never answer questions — not even from their mansions — as they allow the corporations to pillage the mine we are becoming poorer upon. The house itself had stickers plastered on many of the walls:“Asbestos containing material. Do not disturb.”This week, Reg will find out if he will be evicted from this house too, for the developers have plans too.If that happens he’ll be looking for more accommodation, but where? And who will offer a rental to a man, with little money, and whose doctors have told him, ‘work on your bucket list and don’t stop taking your pain medication.’But what of those men who years ago, sailed away on the outgoing tide, high on the belief that they were risking their lives to save this worthy nation? This decent land.Well, we built Shrines to them, and once year we congregate around these shrines to celebrate their courage, and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice . . . For what?So we could, as a nation, ignore their grandsons — men like Reg, who, after working all his life, after paying who knows how much tax, is now sitting here, stranded in Albany now, effectively homeless and suffering from turbo cancer — With nothing else to look forward to, than to wait for his personal and outgoing tide.Michael Gray GriffithAlbany 6/5/26Goodbye Road, the book is not only in the National Archives, as is our website Cafelockedout.com, and so therefore all of our interviews, but your local library has the book in it now, as long as you request it. But if you’d like a personal signed copy, they are available HERE. This is a public episode.
