Brandon Turner is a professional skateboarder for over 20 years, skating for popular brands such as Shorty's skateboards, Osiris footwear, and Sk8mafia to name a few. We discussed growing up in San Deigo, moving to Japan as child, moving back and skateboarding with other legendary skateboarders like Peter Smolik. We touched on some of his hardest tricks, his newest part in the Sk8Mafia video, and how he has overcome his past life and his road to recovery. Flxwz (pronounced Flowz) is a San Diego based artist that was recently nominated for Best Rap Album for the San Diego music awards. With his roots beginning in the hard core scene he quickly made the transition to hip hop and has not looked back. He has worked with other San Diego artists such as producer Tre Castro, Josuė Josuė, to name a few. He is an artist that is truly on the rise and has his sights set on bigger things in the future. Gerardo is the owner of Provecho Coffee Co. based here in San Diego, CA. Joshua Rowe is Executive Board Member for the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation (CSEF), a nonprofit which helps provide scholarships for skateboarders that are in college or need help get into College. Doug Works works for the Board Retailers Association which is nonprofit trade organization that provides valuable resources to board specialty retailers. Both gentlemen also work with Rollin' From The Heart a nonprofit that strives to improve the lives of at-risk & disadvantaged youth through skateboarding, surfing & camping. Fresh from Tahiti I have the Epic 135lb Champion Tehanahana Bernardino, Professional Fighter Raihere Dudes, and Lliam Baker an up and coming Amateur Fighter. We talked about MMA being illegal in Tahiti until last year, and what motivates these fighters to travel so far from their island of Tahiti to fight.
