Scientific Evidence of Jesus
Hey guys!We hope everyone had a good week. Today marks the last episode of our "Scientific Evidence of the Bible" series. We've covered archeological aspects, details in humans, and now we talk about findings that provide evidence for Jesus! Classicist-numismatist Michael Grant argued that when the New Testament is analyzed with the same criteria used by historians on ancient writings that contain historical material, Jesus's existence cannot be denied any more than secular figures whose existence is never questioned. So we go through many of these documents, we discuss, and reflect with questions!See ya'll next week!- EriAnn + KateStay tuned for episodes EVERY MONDAY!Got thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas? Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
Hey everyone! This week we ponder on what it means that life is literally organized to a microscopic level. We analyze what makes the human body such a cool thing- from DNA, the complexity of cells, blood pressure & PH, your heart's neural network.. we reflect on just how soooo intentionally made we are. We connect to scripture and refer back to original Hebrew translations; "yare" and "pala". Archeological Findings of the Bible
Hey guys!! Today we start a new series where we dive into anything and everything that scientifically proves stories and people in the Bible. Our hopes for this series is that these discoveries help to show that the Bible isn’t as detached from reality as it's sometimes easy to think. In this episode, we go over some of the archeological sites that have rediscovered from stories in the Bible- the Crucifixion Site, Armageddon, Pool of Siloam, King Hezekiah's Tunnel, etc..We love you!EriAnn + Kate Stay tuned for episodes EVERY MONDAY!Got thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas? Filtered Faith
Hi everyone! In this episode, we’re talking about romanticised Christianity—the version of faith that looks perfect online but doesn’t always reflect real life. We open up about the pressure to be the “ideal Christian,” how faith can start to feel like status ,and how our relationship with Jesus was never meant to be polished. We share our own experiences with doubt and, comparison, and learning that faith isn’t always aesthetic or put-together. This conversation is for anyone who loves Jesus but sometimes feels like they’re falling short, or wonders why their faith doesn’t look like everyone else’s. We’re reminding ourselves (and you) that God isn’t asking for perfection. He just wants honesty, and (thankfully) He meets us right where we are!Stay tuned for episodes EVERY MONDAY!Got thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas? Faith n' Food
In this episode of Called to Converse, we explore why so much of the New Testament revolves around food, meals, and hospitality. From the Last Supper to the feeding of the 4,000 and 5,000, to Jesus inviting Himself into Zacchaeus’s home, we talk through the stories, what they mean to us, and why Jesus often used meals as moments of connection, teaching, and transformation. We reflect on how sharing food creates space for community and faith—both in Scripture and in our lives today—and discuss why these ordinary moments around a table are such a powerful part of Jesus’s ministry.Stay tuned for episodes EVERY THURSDAY!Got thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas? How to deal with relationships that don't point to Jesus
In this episode, we dive into what it really means to have relationships that sharpen you instead of drain you. The Bible tells us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another,” and “Walk with the wise and become wise.” But at the same time, we’re called to love with patience, kindness, humility, and grace. So… what happens when the people in your life don’t fully point you toward Jesus, but they’re still people God has placed in your path?We talk about finding that middle ground — choosing friends who help you grow spiritually while still loving others the way 1 Corinthians 13 describes: without envy, without pride, and with a lot of compassion. It’s not about judging or cutting people out. It’s about learning how to stay grounded in your faith, always be a light, set healthy boundaries, and trust that God uses every relationship to teach us something and shape us.Stay tuned for episodes EVERY FRIDAY!Got thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas? How to Talk to God
Prayer can feel confusing sometimes—like, how are we actually supposed to do it? In this episode, we go through Matthew 6:9–13 (aka the Lord’s Prayer) and break it down piece by piece to figure out what Jesus was really teaching us about how to pray. It’s simple, honest, and hopefully helps you feel a little more connected when you talk to God.Stay tuned for episodes EVERY FRIDAY! Got thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas? The Comfort of Control
We get it guys, trusting God sounds amazing… until He takes you on the opposite path you wanted. This week, we’re talking about control — why we crave it, how it can sneak up as an idol, and what it looks like when we start to let go. We chat about when we start to notice we’re controlling too much, what control can reveal about our trust, and some real ways to surrender (even when it feels basically impossible). Because sometimes the hardest part of faith is learning to let go and let God… and keep letting God.Stay tuned for episodes EVERY FRIDAY!Got thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas? What are we really doing when we worship?
Hey ya'll! In this episode of Called to Converse, we dive into what worship truly means.. not just singing songs on Sunday, but living in a posture of surrender before God. We talk about the very first mention of worship in the Bible, the Hebrew word “shachah,” and why genuine worship starts in the heart. Why do we lift our hands? Why does God call us to worship Him? And what does it really look like to bow down before Him — not just physically, but spiritually? Join us as we unpack the beauty, depth, and purpose of worship the way God designed it!Got thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas? Scrolling vs. Scripture
Ever wonder why scrolling feels so good at first but leaves you drained afterward? In this week’s episode of Called to Converse, Kate and Eriann dive into the science of dopamine and compare what happens in our brains when we scroll social media for 30 minutes… versus when we spend that time reading the Bible. We’ll break it down simply:• What your brain does before, during, and after scrolling• How Scripture creates a completely different (and healthier) dopamine cycle• Why social media is like junk food for the brain, but the Bible is like a full mealGot thoughts, questions, prayer requests, or episode ideas?
