Callin’ you out
by Isabel
Callin’ you (and myself) out on things we do blindly, or don’t think about. Sometimes they are hard to hear, but oftentimes that’s because we needed to near them, we just didn’t want to. I hope you play each episode with ears to listen, even when it might be hard.

Share your story
Share your story. Share the stuff you don’t like to talk about, or even the stuff you don’t know how to put into words. But sharing will allow you to be your authentic self, to own your shit, and to realize the stuff you might not have realized if you didn’t talk about it.
-
Safety vs. destruction
This week, I’m diving into how our choices are sometimes safe to us but can cause destruction to others. And vise versa. I share a poem I wrote that’s close to my heart, and unpack it.
-
The rip tide
Talking about getting out of the rip tide of shame and guilt in order to survive. Sharing a sneak peak of the guilt and shame I felt from an abusive relationship, and came out on top.
-
Definitions & I’m sorry’s
We need to accept people for who they are. Not go into meeting someone or a relationship with an “I’ll fix them” mentality. Especially, when we want to be accepted for who we are.
-
Bullshit
You must stop tolerating the bullshit you tell yourself, in order to no longer tolerate the bullshit other people tell you.
