The Real Jesus
In 2 Corinthians 11, Paul defends his ministry against false apostles, urging believers to recognize the true Jesus and not be swayed by deceptive teachings. He emphasizes that genuine faith is rooted in humility and love, reflecting Christ's character rather than worldly standards. As we gather this weekend, let us commit to following the real Jesus, who calls us to maturity and authentic devotion.

A Tale of Two Men
Paul teaches that through one man, Adam, sin and death entered the world, bringing condemnation to all humanity. In contrast, through one man, Jesus Christ, grace, righteousness, and life are offered, overflowing far beyond the effects of sin. Every person stands represented either in Adam or in Christ, and the gift of justification must be personally received by faith.

Measured by God, Not by Men
Paul confronts the Corinthians for their worldly thinking—judging by appearances, embracing pride, and measuring ministry by human standards. He defends his God-given authority, showing that true spiritual leadership builds up, stays within God’s calling, and refuses self-promotion. Ultimately, the only evaluation that matters is not what people say, but whether the Lord Himself commends the work.

Fighting with Divine Power
Join us as we dive into 2 Corinthians 10, where we'll discover that true strength is rooted in God's ways, not the worlds. To experience genuine freedom, we must learn to surrender our thoughts to Christ, because the real battle is in the mind. Together, let’s explore how aligning our thinking with God’s truth empowers us to overcome life's challenges.

The Blessings You Already Have
Because we are justified by faith, God has permanently declared us righteous based on Christ’s finished work, not our performance. This justification brings real, present benefits—peace with God, access to His grace, hope for the future, growth through suffering, assurance of salvation, and a restored relationship with Him. Therefore, believers should live with confidence, joy, and endurance, knowing the war is over and they are now friends of God.

Joyful Generosity
In this teaching, we explore how true generosity flows from a heart transformed by God's grace, reflecting Christ's character in our lives. Paul encourages the Corinthians to give joyfully and willingly, reminding them that their generosity not only meets needs but also brings glory to God and inspires others. Ultimately, we are called to live out our faith through joyful acts of giving, demonstrating the love of Christ to the world around us.

When Every Mouth is Stopped
Paul presents Abraham as the model of unwavering faith—trusting God’s promise despite impossible circumstances—and shows that righteousness is credited through faith, not human effort. Because believers are justified through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, they now possess peace with God, access to grace, and confident hope in future glory. Justification is a completed act of God that transforms a believer’s past, present, and future, producing assurance, endurance, and joy even in suffering.

They Gave Themselves First
Paul teaches in 2 Corinthians 8 that Christian giving is not driven by pressure or obligation but by the transforming grace of God working in surrendered hearts. The Macedonian believers demonstrate that true generosity flows from giving ourselves first to the Lord, not from financial abundance. Because Jesus gave Himself completely for us, believers are called to reflect the gospel through willing, faithful, and Christ-centered generosity.

Truth or Slander
Join us this weekend in 2 Corinthians 7:2–16 as we unpack how slander tears down but truth, love, and godly sorrow lead to real repentance and restored relationships. We’ll see Paul’s open-hearted appeal to “make room in your hearts,” Titus’s encouraging report, and why our confidence in one another rests in God’s faithful work within His people. Come be equipped to reject gossip and slander, rejoice in the truth, and pursue healing conversations that rebuild trust.

Let Go and Grow
Following Jesus often means letting go of what holds us back—people, jobs, habits, or beliefs that pull us from Him. Trusting God enough to release these things is choosing to believe He has something better. God’s heart is for His children to mature in Christ, and on that journey we gain a closer walk with Him and a deeper freedom, peace, and joy.

When Every Mouth is Stopped
Paul concludes his case that religious privilege, moral effort, and heritage cannot make anyone righteous before God, because both Jews and Gentiles stand equally under sin. Though Israel possessed great advantages in receiving God’s Word, human unfaithfulness never cancels God’s faithfulness, and the Law ultimately exposes sin rather than removes it. The purpose of the Law is to silence human self-justification and prepare hearts to recognize their need for salvation.

Reality, Not Religion
In Romans 2:11–29, Paul declares that God shows no favoritism—whether pagan, moralist, or Jew, all will be judged according to truth and light received. Possessing the Law, teaching the Law, or bearing outward religious signs does not make a person righteous if they do not obey from the heart. True belonging to God is not outward religion but inward transformation by the Spirit.

God Pleasers
Join us this weekend as we aim at being “God Pleasers.” We will be encouraged to live by faith, not by sight, fixing their eyes on eternal realities rather than temporary troubles. As we study through 2 Corinthians 4–5, we’ll see how Paul embraced suffering as part of his calling, aiming not to please people or himself but to please Christ, who will one day reward faithful service at the judgment seat.

The Moral Man on Trial
In Romans 1:18–32, Paul shows that humanity’s greatest problem is not ignorance of God but the rejection of Him despite clear revelation. When people refuse to glorify God and give thanks, they exchange truth for lies, worship creation instead of the Creator, and experience God’s judgment as He gives them over to the consequences of their choices. This downward spiral reveals why the gospel is not optional but absolutely necessary, because without Christ, all stand guilty and without excuse.

Through God's Mercy, We Serve in Christ's Ministry
Paul teaches us that ministry is not a burden we carry alone, but in His mercy, He allows us to partner in it. Satan has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so we must depend on the Holy Spirit, pray faithfully, and go to war with, and in the spiritual realm.

Transformed by Grace
Join us this weekend as the Apostle Paul shares his love and concern for the church in Corinth. He will celebrate marching in victory with Christ, despite facing life's challenges. We'll be reminded that God's grace transforms us, moving us away from placing our hope in our performance.

When God Gives Them Over

Revealed: God's Righteousness, God's Wrath, and Our Responsibility
Paul declares that the gospel is not a private possession but a sacred obligation, because it alone reveals the righteousness of God that saves all who believe. That same God has also revealed His wrath against sin, showing that humanity is without excuse, having suppressed truth clearly made known through conscience and creation. Only the gospel of Jesus Christ answers both realities—God’s righteous demand and man’s desperate need.

When Plans Fall Apart
Plans often change overnight, and people can misunderstand you just as fast. In 2 Corinthians 1:12–22, Paul answers criticism with integrity, sincerity, and a clean conscience before God. When our “yes” feels questioned, God’s faithfulness stays steady because every promise is “Yes” in Christ.

Called, Sent, and Established by Faith
Paul’s introduction to Romans reveals that the gospel is God’s promised, powerful work of grace, centered on Jesus Christ—fully God and fully man—and received by faith alone. Believers are loved, called saints who live out their identity through obedience that flows from faith, strengthened through mutual encouragement in the body of Christ. Because the gospel is the very power of God unto salvation, Christians are called to live unashamed, trusting God’s sovereignty, and faithfully proclaiming Christ to all people.

Set Apart for the Gospel
Paul opens the book of Romans by declaring who he is, what the gospel is, and who believers are in Christ. The gospel is not human advice but God’s promised good news, centered on Jesus Christ—fully man, fully God—whose resurrection declares His power and deity. Those who believe are called, loved, set apart, and summoned to live in obedient faith under the gracious lordship of Jesus Christ.
