Cam's Varied Week - CVW
by Cam Walton
Around 20 minutes of pure chaotic neutral. Mildly focused around tennis, books, TV shows, outside, and food. Not really anything in particular if that's what you're wondering. Comedic takes on stumble-upons through my oddly abnormal, regular life. Always looking for guests to help spruce up some of my sappiness so send your/your friends'/your family/some seemingly non-threatening homeless person you just met/your pets my way and we'll all have a great time! CVW ep. 18 - Are You Ready?
Ready? OKAY! No but for real, this dog is ready to be adopted and his name is Ready. I barely even scratch the surface of that craziness because I just want this dog to get a nice lil place by the bay. Ready is a top-notch, 11-year-old bulldog with some love to give. I don't have the ability to...

CVW ep. 17 - Will Novak Be The New Fed?
Hello, hello! ¡Hola! We're on the fifth episode now! Alright, no more U2 references. This episode really shows my mixed feelings on Novak's (more likely than not at this point) claim of the Tennis Kingdom. He has done so many great things to bring him to where he is now, but he will never be...

CVW ep. 15 - If I Could Only Go To 3 Major Slams? I'd Be Happy.
Hey hey! So the grass court season came and went, and my time to comment on it should have done the same. But in 2021 anything is possible, so I'm gonna talk about this old stuff. It is 99% a rant about why I dislike "the most prestigious major", but I showcase my new haircut with that milk-fat…

CVW ep. 14 - What Happened There...?
Hey! Are you sitting there wondering what happened during the odd hiatus from CVW? Well wonder no longer! My area has just recently begun reopening to (almost) regular functionality, but more specifically, my place of work has started this process as well. I have been helping a large restaurant...

CVW ep. 13 - Five Weeks Off, Five Eps Comin'
Howdy ho! Took a short break to recuperate my thoughts after such a terrible predictive streak (but actually just hate editing in the heat), but I am back with a fury. I tackle the NHL Playoffs (current issue), the French Open (almost too current), how rough the first stage of Canadian lockdown…

CVW ep. 12 - Oui Hab to Leaf Now - Cam's Varied Week
Sir Lake Ontario reaped his karma on me this past week through the French Open's unreadable draw, online gambling services declining my money, and a first round that has made my love for clay only that much more peculiar. David Goffin gives himself up to another Italian boy in the first round, he...

CVW ep. 11 - Sure-Footing, Sleep, Solid Ground: 3 Keys to Staying Alive - Cam's Varied Week
Got a little dark in this week's(?) episode, it was with the best intentions possible though. A local man suffered a tragic accident in an area where (and during a time when) I usually go for walks, but the only given article gave a vague recollection that left the poor guy in a bad light, as far...

CVW ep. 10 - Red Pill/Blue Pill, But With Cookies! Ya Know? - Cam's Varied Week
Have you ever thought it would be fun to drug someone, but then be super responsible about how you go about dealing with the drugging? Because I sure have! And I thought, depending on whether or not I can come up with the right activity, I could make that into a pretty interesting...

CVW ep. 9 - The Wedding Weekend That Wasn't - Cam's Varied Week
First off, I have to apologize for the audio quality (at least in this video), I'm noticing a fuzzy noise that I wasn't able to get out in editing. I really hope I didn't miss this in the other episodes, but I think this is the first I'm hearing of it at all. I can only assume the mic is near/at...

CVW ep. 8 Wanda Different Legacy - Cam's Varied Week
Have you ever watched a trailer for a show and immediately known that it was a garbage show that wasn't going to be worth any of the time that you willingly put towards the show? Because I watched WandaVision recently and it was so awful that I broke my rule of not letting a show control my...

CVW ep. 7 - Back in Business! - Cam's Varied Week
We are back up and running! I apologize for the lack of an episode last week, my CPU fan failed and despite my PC trying to tell me, I thought it was another issue for a few days before I actually fixed the right thing. Now I at least have a smoothly-running PC, but I am about 4-5 days behind…

CVW ep. 6 - First Guest: Tristan Fredericks (Toronto-based rapper/performing artist/entertainer)
Hey hey! So as the title dictates, we got our first guest on CVW!! A fellow entertainer liked what he saw on the podcast and wanted to be a part of the excitement. I jump into his roots as an artist, what he's been able to accomplish before lockdown and how he went about achieving those...

CVW ep. 5 - Not So Trill Fight Night
Have you ever watched something and throughout the whole event deeply thought about the possibility of time travel being discovered in your lifetime solely to save yourself from the four hour garbage-fest you chose to watch? Because I watched the Ben Askren/Logan Paul scuffle this past Saturday...

CVW ep. 4 - A Little Too Focused on the Visuals
I'll apologize immediately because I definitely overlooked the listeners going into the second shooting of this (as explained in the episode). I think I salvaged the audio from dropping and banging the mic a couple times, but I'll be more prepared next time without a doubt. I dive into the...

CVW ep. 3 - Invisible Improvements
Hello hello! This episode I focused on putting a little more effort into the visual production value which has inspired some ideas for improving the listening quality as well. Unfortunately those adjustments will have to be made after this week as I think that's more about microphone quality, but…

CVW ep. 2 - Quick-Dropping Anchor
First and foremost, Anchor gets a quick shoutout for putting CVW on Spotify, Google Podcasts, Breaker, RadioPublic, and PocketCasts within one day of the first post. Totally unexpected, and greatly appreciated! This episode covers the slight miscall I had towards the new Prime Original Series…

CVW ep. 1 - Cam's Varied Week - First Video: An Introduction into Cam's World
Hello hello! This is my first podcast posted anywhere and it covers almost absolutely nothing relevant (why I'm starting a podcast, what it wants to be, kitchen repairs and Stephen King), so if you're looking for quick takes on trending topics this probably shouldn't be your go-to. If, however…
