Just when you think you’re vibing, the universe says, “Actually… no.” Recently, I hit one of those lovely crossroads where I had to stop, breathe, and admit that my mental health needed to come first.So here’s me being real: last week, I checked myself into a mental health facility. Not exactly the glow-up I had planned, but it was necessary. Thoughts and ideations were getting heavy, and pretending I could just push through wasn’t working. Now I’m also adjusting to new meds—which, surprise!—come with a side of spiked anxiety. Fun times.But through all this, my love for the Carry Me Home podcast hasn’t budged. If anything, it’s the one thing keeping me tethered. It’s a labor of love, and while grief, money stress, and mental chaos have made accountability a moving target, I still believe in this project with my whole messy heart.To everyone who’s been patient and supportive: thank you. I don’t take it lightly. I’m hopeful (yes, me, hopeful!) that the next chapter of the podcast will be ready soon. This isn’t the end—it’s just another twist in the story.
