Today we get into adoption with a very special guest, author, speaker, and founder of The Adoptee Mentoring Society, Angela Tucker. Amy read Angela’s very intimate and informative book, You Should be Grateful: Stories of Race, Identity, and Transracial Adoption and immediately told Heather, “OMG you have to read this book so we can discuss!” And that’s exactly what happened; Heather read the book and we discussed. Then, lucky us, we were able to get Angela on the podcast to talk about her book, adoption, fostering, and how race and identity come into play in all of it. You don’t want to miss this one!

With the recent documentary , Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, Amy and Heather talk about child actors. Boy do they have opinions on this topic, as well as practical information.  And yes, they know they're late to the party, but you'll also hear their thoughts on the MAX docuseries, Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.  If you ever thought about getting your kid into the entertainment business, you'll want to check out this episode.
