A chance encounter makes a new friendship flourish. An extraordinary guy who has such an interesting story which I loved hearing.

I love hearing stories about the past, especially from the people who lived in them. John Whyte is a gentleman from an aging generation and his story from leaving school at an early age, to life in Paisley is fascinating. Unions, marriage and fatherhood, walking all the glend and dales in Scotland and his later job as a postman all add up to remarkable life. I was lucky to be able to chat with him while on a visit in the summer of 2024.

Who is the voice behind this podcast? I explain briefly about how this podcast came about and a wee bit about the 'why'.

In 2024, I had the honour of interviewing Erik Windrich, from the South African band, eVoid. He lives in London, England and we met in a local park. It felt like I was meeting an old friend, but who was my pop idol. We chatted about life, with airplanes overhead, kids passing by and birds chirping their summer song. Listen into our chat and keep dreaming your dreams, because they do come true!

The story of two amazing ladies and the humble orange who became a global brand in the 1970's. The Outspan orange marketing campaign was a groundbreaker. My two guests, Anne Lawrance and Sally Kernick were gracious enough to chat with me about their experience and contribution to promoting the brand in Paris and London.
