Government agencies in Orange County are being told to curb their purchases to only essential items or items being paid for thru grants. It’s a no-go in Ulster County for an immediate moratorium on emergency housing for anyone new at the Kingston Motel.

Strong winds over 65 mph were reported in some locations, which toppled trees that took down electric wires. Wild weather over several days including an EF-0 tornado touching down.
