Why the Right Rooms Matter: The Power of Proximity for Founders

The Power of Proximity Who you spend time with shapes who you become. In this episode, Heather explores the power of proximity and why the rooms you’re in — and the people you surround yourself with — have a profound impact on your confidence, decisions, and success as a founder. For many female entrepreneurs, building a business can feel isolating. You may be the visionary in your circle, the one taking risks, or the one holding both ambition and family life at the same time. But growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in the right environments with the right people. In this episode, Heather shares: • Why proximity influences identity and leadership • The difference between networking and real connection • How the rooms you enter shape your future • Why community is essential for female founders • How to intentionally place yourself in spaces that support your growth If you want to grow your business and your life in a way that feels aligned and sustainable, who you build beside matters. The 5 Unexpected things you need to grow your business in 2026

Real growth doesn’t come from more strategy. It comes from expanding your capacity to hold it. In this episode, I share five unexpected things you actually need to grow your business in 2026: a regulated nervous system, belief that matches your vision, coaching and community that hold you higher, space for integration, and aligned action. If you’re ready for a new kind of growth that feels grounded, calm, and sustainable, this one’s for you. My Belief was in the Shitter

In this episode, I share the real story behind a season in my business that I did not see coming. After a disappointing high-ticket mastermind experience, my belief took a hit. I pushed forward, kept serving, kept creating, and on the outside it looked like I was still winning. Inside, I was quietly convinced that my biggest success was behind me. My coach recently held up a mirror and said the thing I needed to hear. My belief was in the shitter. The results I was experiencing were simply reflecting that truth. If I wanted to grow again, I needed to upgrade not my strategy, but my belief in what was possible. This conversation explores: • How sales trauma can shrink our capacity for expansion • Why belief directly influences revenue, opportunities, and momentum • The moment I decided to do the belief work again • What changes when we stop playing to protect ourselves and start playing to grow I am naming a new goal for myself that feels bold, thrilling, and a little bit scary. Four hundred thousand dollars a year. I am committed to believing it into reality because belief creates the gap that strategy and action can fill. If you are feeling stuck in a version of success that no longer reflects your potential, you are not alone. Your belief may just need a reset too. If you are ready to uplevel what you believe is available to you, come join me. Let us rise together. If you want support with your next level, send me an email at [email protected] and tell me where you are at. If you are not sure what your next step should be, book a free twenty minute introductory call so that we can define it together.

    Resistance before The Room

Ever felt that wave of self-doubt, tension, or resistance right before you step into a big moment, a talk, a meeting, or a room full of people? In this episode I unpack what that resistance really is (hint: it’s your nervous system doing its job) and how to move through it with awareness of the mind, emotions, and body. Through my own story of pre-event nerves and intuition, I share how to reframe resistance not as a sign to stop, but as an invitation to expand. Learn how to regulate your nervous system, trust your intuition, and show up grounded in your purpose even when your body says “not yet.” Journal prompts: When does resistance show up most for me? What might it be trying to protect? What helps me return to safety and truth? Want more tools? Check out CEO Flow!

The Myth of "Sell them what they want, Give them what they need"

In this episode, Heather breaks down one of the most popular myths in the coaching and business world — “Sell them what they want, give them what they need.” We live in a culture obsessed with quick fixes, 3-step formulas, and strategies that promise instant success. But what we actually need isn’t another external solution, it’s the internal work that no one can do for us. Heather shares her personal story of chasing strategies, signing up for all the programs, and offloading responsibility for her growth and what finally shifted everything: taking ownership, rebuilding self-trust, and doing the deeper work of nervous system regulation, emotional maturity, and mindset transformation. If you’ve been looking outside yourself for the next answer, this episode is a loving call to come back home to your own wisdom. How to Set a Boundary the Right Way

I first ready the book "Boundaries" but Dr Cloud and Townsend when I was 18 year old. I was attending Bible School in New Zealand, and my now therapist bestie and I would read excerpts to each other in the garden! Haha!  We were pretty wild back then - not much has changed.  But even though I studied boundaries over 20 years ago, and many of us talk about them in casual conversation now, I think we are all kind of confused about what a boundary really is.  If we think a boundary is telling someone else what they can or cannot do - we've got it wrong.  If we think a boundary is about the other person's behaviour rather than ours - we've got it wrong. So what is a boundary? How do you set them? And what happens when the other humans in our life don't play by the rules we are setting?
