Chaos, Crumbs and Clarity
by Bry Jaimea
Chaos, Crumbs & Clarity is a beautifully messy guide to life, love, and crying over laksa. Hosted by a recovering perfectionist and certified Elder Millennial, we dive into the honest, emotional, and occasionally ridiculous side of personal growth. Heartbreak hangovers, self-worth spirals, nervous system naps, learning to say "no" without a 17-paragraph essay. This is self-development with a side of Cheezels. No hustle culture. No five-step plans. Just real talk, soft humour, and a fair number of tangents. Gently unravelling, and doing it with style.Discover more: @bryjaimea and bryjaimea.com

We Need to Stop Clapping for Basic Decency
In today's episode of Chaos, Crumbs and Clarity, we're unpacking why we need to stop clapping for basic decency. You know the script. A man texts back within twenty-four hours and we're screenshotting it to the group chat. A man plans a date more than three hours in advance and we call him a unicorn. A man manages to listen, pay attention, and behave like a fully formed adult, and our nervous systems short-circuit because we genuinely don't know how to receive it.Here's the truth nobody is saying out loud. The bar has been dragged so low that Satan himself needs a chiropractor after a competitive round of limbo. We've been culturally trained to be grateful for behaviour that should not require gratitude. We've been told these things are bonuses when they're actually the entry requirement. And in the meantime, women have been quietly doing the basic decency thing forever, without applause, while men get standing ovations for outputs we generated for them.Today we're talking about why a great man is genuinely just an average woman, who benefits when the bar stays low, the invisible labour women have been performing for free for centuries, and the friend-test that cuts straight through every excuse we've ever made for mediocre men. The Wine Aunt Manifesto
In today's episode of Chaos, Crumbs and Clarity, we're unpacking the Wine Aunt manifesto. You know the trope. The childfree woman of a certain age who is meant to be quietly tragic, the cautionary tale at the family Christmas, the spare without a seat. The whole tired narrative that says if you didn't pass anything on biologically, you somehow missed the point of being a woman. But here's what nobody tells you. There has always been a woman like her in every village, in every culture, across every century. She wasn't the spare. She was structural. Anthropologists call her the Allmother, and the communities with her in it thrived differently from the ones without. She held the babies so the mothers could sleep. She showed up with wine when marriages cracked open. She brought back stories, opinions on Barolo, and an inappropriately shaped souvenir nobody asked for but everyone secretly ordered for themselves.Today we're talking about being childfree by chance, the grief nobody warns you about, the unexpected relief that follows, and why the Wine Aunt is not the cautionary tale you've been sold. She is the connective tissue. She is essential. And she has excellent shoes. Let's get into it.For more visit BryJaimea.com or follow over on IG @BryJaimea

Who Said Anything About a Crisis?
In today's episode of Chaos, Crumbs and Clarity, we're unpacking the midlife crisis myth. You know the one. The narrative that says women in their forties are supposed to be falling apart, panicking about relevance, desperately reinventing themselves before it's too late. We're told we should be burnt out, lonely with our cats, spiralling into some kind of existential breakdown that requires a retreat, a programme, or a very expensive rebrand. But here's what actually happens. You get comfortable. You get clear. You stop apologising for knowing what you like and who you are. The charm becomes fully operational. The gut instinct you've been overriding to be polite finally gets the microphone. And instead of a crisis, you get something much better. You get the glow up.Today we're talking about why the bar for female happiness is set so absurdly low, how your forties are actually when life gets good, and why no one needs to audit a woman who has spent decades deliberately curating her own existence. Let's get into it.For more visit BryJaimea.com or follow over on IG @bryjaimea
