Born in Tampa, Fl; November 6, 1989 to Tanya (mom) & Darrick (dad). Artistic young and vibrant Michael also Known as "Chico Got Barz" was and is a man of many talents, music being his super Talent. Graduating from Tampa Bay Tech High school CGB went on to college which he soon found at was not a great fit at all for him or his background. Trying his hand at many different thing his heart never strayed of music and that burning desire compelled him to polish his craft leading to the person you today know as Chico Got Barz. In a field so saturated CGB definitely sets himself apart from the rest. With lyrics that are a direct reflection of today's time and a powerful statement standing up for his people when he spits "Black Lives matter, LGBT Lives, Trans Lives matter/ disagree then fuck you" on his OOOUUU track.
