    Venture Tales 8.0

    On this episode, David the intrepid traveler tells a story of getting tasered multiple times by Brazilian federal police.  The music at the beginning of this episode is “A Melhor Hora da Praia” [ translation: The best hour from the beach ] by  Nação Zumbi feat.     Venture Tales 6.0

    On this episode, David shares his experiences on a party bus, hooking up with women, getting ‘married’ and more during Carnaval in the Brazilian towns of Recife and Olinda.  The music at the beginning of the segment is called "Voltei Recife" (Translation: I returned to Recife) from the Brazilian artist, Alceu Valença.     Venture Tales 5.0 (1st Podcast of the year!)

    We are back with another episode of Venture Tales and 1st podcast of the year!  On this episode,  David recounts his experience of being detained by Moroccan police and meeting women while visiting the town of Meknes.  This episode will be the 1st of a series of stories from David the intrepid traveler's adventures in Morocco.  The other stories will be covered in future podcasts.    The music at the top of the podcast contains samples from the song "Inas Inas", by the great Moroccan folk musician Mohamed Rouicha, performed/remixed by DJ Statex.     We have a special guest on this episode, David's friend Milo from Coroico, Bolivia!  Milo is the owner of the restaurant Coroico Star and also runs mountain bike tours on the famous Death Road Trail.  Most of this episode will be in Spanish with David translating from Spanish to English and vise versa.  Also on this episode, David talks about getting sucker punched and more!     Skratchin' and Chillin' with DJ Jointz and DJ Fasttrack (4/10/19)

    On this episode, DJs Statex, Fasttrack and Jointz have a skratch session at DJ Jointz studio the night before the Skratch Lounge Seattle 9 Year Anniversary/ Skratch Battle Invitational.  After our skratch session, we just chilled out and discussed a variety of topics, including the Pope’s headwear, the Guitar Center 2004 DJ Battle, In-N-Out Burger and more.  We also got to play with DJ Jointz new toy, The Language Master, which was notably used by Kid Koala. Big ups again to Jointz and Fasttrack for good times!
