Cinema Guano

Surprise! We're back! A little of what's being going on (you'll hear more in the episode). Over the summer, one of our beloved meowscots, Memphis passed away after a prolonged stint in the hospital and it really hit me. Hard. It's been difficult to do much creatively and most of my creative energy has gone towards projects with Neighborhood Theater Group when I have it. I honestly wasn't sure about continuing with the show at all but, thankfully, my lovely partner and co-host, Crysta convinced me to keep going. So here it is, this month's episode where we screen 1984's Voyage of the Rock Aliens!

 We're back! After bouts with covid, extended food poisoning and (post recording) a car wreck that totaled Crysta's vehicle, we're finally able to release some new material. This week, we screen one of Greg's favorite 80's throwbacks, "Biggles Adventures in Time" (1986).As an additional note, Crysta and Greg both had one act plays accepted for the upcoming "Bug Pit Summer Play Festival" August 4th - 9th! Look for more details coming soon. 

In this week's date night episode, we screen City of Lost Children (1995) and name check Pushing Up Roses multiple times (janky Dorito eyes)! We really need her to do a tie in review of the video game adaptation of this one. 

Happy Holidays! This year we screen the 1996 made for TV movie The Munsters Scary Little Christmas with special guests Kay Gray and Aaron Isett! Its sure to be creepy holiday fun (in more ways than one, trust us). 

This week, we screen the cult classic, Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) with special guests, Neighborhood Theater Group stage manager Dawn Petersonk and ensemble member Maegan Murphy in the most fun episode we've recorded in ages!

Season 3 finds us divided on 2018's Book of Monsters with returning guests, Kay Gray and Aaron Isett!

In the season 2 finale, we screen the 2021 Nicholas Cage vehicle, Willy's Wonderland with live human guests Josh Hamilton and Adam Sommerfield and many visits from meowscot Tully (she's responsible for any "boing" sounds you may hear this episode).

This week we close out 2020 in the only way we can, with the zombie Christmas musical Anna and the Apocalypse! 

This week, we screen 1974's "Phase IV," the one and only directing credit of graphic design legend Saul Bass. 

This week, we watch Krull (1983) with special guest, Adam Somerfield! A note on the episode, we tried recording a guest long distance for the first time via Discord and Craig and, while we picked Adam up just fine, there were some issues with the audio that was picked up on our end, leaving Crysta's audio clipped and cut off in some areas. We've done the best we can in post-production but it's far from our usual audio quality. We appologize and will continue to do our best to bring you top quality audio production in the future. Now, please enjoy the majesty of Krull. 

Quarantine episodes continue with the long anticipated Turbo Kid! Will it be everything we've heard? (Hint, probably not so much).
