The Romero Dead Franchise comes to an end with the very last two entries...for now. RIP George A. Romero.

-
31 Days of Episodes: Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Day 2 of George A. Romero's Dead franchise. In this episode, I reflect on the legendary sequel to Night of the Living Dead that paved the way for a lot of tropes zombie movies use today.
-
31 Days of Episodes: Night of the Living Dead (1968)
It's that time of year for 31 Days of Episodes, and I will be focused on some franchises that I haven't talked about yet. I am starting it off with the 1968 classic that paved the way for zombie movies today.
-
The World of Tron (1982-2025)
In this episode, Alan and I discuss the Tron trilogy. This is a Disney property I have always felt didn't get enough attention and deserves more. These are niche movies and I feel they are hard to recommend.
-
Beetlejuice (1988) & Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024)
Whatever you do, don't say his name three times! In this episode, Alan and I discuss the two movies about the ghost with the most.
-
Summer Flicks: Freddy Vs Jason (2003) & Friday the 13th (2009)
The final episode of the Friday the 13th Franchise is here! In this one, we talk about Jason finally fighting Freddy Krueger and the reimagined adaptation six years after that.
-
Summer Flicks: Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday (1993) & Jason X (2001)
Summer is about over, but we still have some Friday the 13th flicks to talk about. In this episode, Francisco joins the conversation about the final Jason entry...or so we thought at the time, and its teased "Vs" follow-up...or so we thought at the time. Instead, we get see Jason...IN SPACE!
-
Summer Flicks: Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990) & Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1997)
The saw is family. This is the continuation of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise with a couple that are not as good as the first two, in my opinion.
-
Summer Flicks: Evolution (2001) & Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
Summer is almost over, but we still have a couple more flicks to talk about. These two don't really have a connection, other than being summer released comedies that we both enjoy.
-
Summer Flicks: Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988) & Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)
The Friday the 13th Franchise continues with two of the weirdest entries in the series so far. In part VII, we basically get Jason Vs Carrie, and in part VIII, Jason leaves Crystal Lake for the Big Apple!
-
Summer Flicks: Stand by Me (1986) & Independence Day (1996)
In this episode, Alan and I talk about two of the best summer flicks a decade a part. From a coming of age drama about friendship and loyalty, to an explosive alien invasion and the ultimate fight for mankind.
-
Summer Flicks: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) & The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)
In this episode of Summer Flicks, Ezra joins to talk about, in my opinion, the only entries in the Texas Chainsaw franchise that are good. The rest of the series had their ups, but mostly downs. More episodes of the franchise coming soon.
-
Summer Flicks: Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985) & Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI
In this episode of Summer Flicks, Alan and I continue the Friday the 13th saga with the unpopular 5th one, and the wonderfully satirical 6th one. The 5th one tried a new direction, but ultimately failed. The 6th one had a more successful direction that would change the rest of the franchise forever.
-
Summer Flicks: Money Talks (1997) & Tropic Thunder (2008)
Two random comedies we enjoy that were released around summertime.
-
Summer Flicks: Friday the 13th Part 3D (1982) & Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)
Continuing the saga of Friday the 13th for the summer, we go through the 3rd dimension to the death of Jason Voorhees...at the time.
-
Summer Flicks: Sleepaway Camp Franchise
Special guest Francisco joins me in discussing the other camp slasher series that started with a pretty good first movie in 1983 with, still to this day, one of the most twisted endings in horror history. The rest of the franchise, unfortunately, gets worse and worse.
-
Summer Flicks: Friday the 13th (1980) & Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)
Why wait until October? It just feels right to watch this summer camp series during the summer. In this episode, Alan and I review and discuss the first two (out of twelve) movies from one of my favorite horror franchises.
-
Summer Flicks: The Great Outdoors (1988) & The Sandlot (1993)
The only connections between these two are a young actor in both, who quit the spotlight early during their career, and the fact that these two are classic staples growing up in the 80s and 90s.
-
Summer Flicks: Five 1990s Vigilante Movies
In this episode, Alan and I talk about five vigilante movies from the 90s. Meteor Man (1993), The Phantom (1996), Blankman (1994), The Shadow (1994), and Mystery Men (1999).

Summer Flicks: Speed (1994) & Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997)

-
Summer Flicks: Heavyweights (1995)
In this episode, Alan and I talk about a comedic family classic from the 90s. To this day, the Blob still looks fun.

-
