Hey family Back in 1998 African Rhythms Radio CiTR 101.9 FM Mike and David, had been doing radio for over a year...in this mostly Chicago/ Chess Records Special, we cover some familiar and unfamiliar songs and artsts...including the amazing group " Windy City" ...as Mike points out " you better be able to sang, if you are going to name your group after the great city!"

here is a wonderful African Rhythms Radio ( here @ CITR Radio) show from Jan 1998 . In this show mike brought back a few 45s from NYC and we cover some Deep Soul, Philly and much more ...it was a wonderful moment and 22 yrs later during this challenging time, a nice chance to go back ...peace David -

Bill Reiter had a show on Radio here in the 60s and 70s called Groovin Blue...it was the 1st to play funk and soul in this city..here he recreates the feel on with David
