Each week features a plethora of student initiatives, upcoming events, and current affairs, brought to you through interviews with clubs, faculty, societies and associations.     CiTR presents SLC with Coastal Motion vibes

    This show involves a pre-recorded presentation done by the CiTR student executive and the student programming coordinator promoting CiTR and how it has made and recorded history throughout the years as well as how this kind of organization is an incredible way for students to learn valuable skills about leadership and independent, DIY radio! Interspersed with a DIY style group that produces regular videos with local UBC bands and musicians promoting their work and giving artists better opportunity for exposure in Vancouver.

    Broadcast on March 17th 2015 Student Special with Kyra from Speak Easy and Eviatar from the Social Justice Centre

    It's the AMS services edition of the Student Special! This week we welcomed Kyra from Speak Easy and Eviatar from the Social Justice Centre to talk about their services available to the UBC community! Speakeasy provides peer support for students facing a wide variety of challenges.With the support from Peer Support Volunteers who are extremely carefully, and well trained, they aim to help students deal with a wide range of problems. Their goal is to help you resolve problems yourself, by supporting, empowering, and guiding you through unfamiliar territory.The Social Justice Centre is hosting it's annual conference from March 24-26th and also on March 30. In a series of events from panel discussions, film screening, and fundraising concert they are raising awareness to the social situations that are happening around the world.
