The end is here. Hosting The Permanent Rain Radio has been such a wonderful experience, and we've cherished every moment we've spent on-air! TJ of Port Moody's Sam The Astronaut joins us in-studio to chat about songwriting, debut LP "Girls of Summer" and performing in an igloo. We're treated to a listen of demo "Midnight, Carlight." I apologize for the lack of creative episode names, 'melody' was the first word to emerge from my search of 'music' synonyms. On the bright side, our latest episode is full of melodic, fun tunes from a variety of up-and-coming acts from our province (and beyond). Artists on the bill include Jesse Werkman (Edmonton), ICELANDIA (Kelowna), The Katherines (Vancouver), Sit Calm (Winnipeg) and Sorry Girls (Montreal).

Chloe and guest co-host Si Jia are joined in-studio by Vancouver singer-songwriters Evan Clarke (of EvanIvan) and Josh Bogert.Evan, whose debut album 'Afterlight' was released in September, chats about the making of and themes behind the new record. An alumnus of Nimbus School of Recording & Media, the folk-pop artist also discusses his evolving sound and upcoming plans. Josh, who also stars in Family Channel's 'Backstage,' released his debut self-titled EP earlier in November. He chats about what's to come from the hit television series, new release, and extensive musical background.We're treated to a live acoustic performance by each musician, and also spin A+ tunes from Summaries, Darling Twig, VACAY, Twin Rains, GROTTO MALL, Little Crow, and BLAME CANDY.

Chloe is joined in-studio by Sepehr Rashidi of Indigo District to chat about his music, genres, cool rooftop sessions, and branding. The remainder of the episode is comprised of a playlist featuring artists - that all have a B.C. connection! Pretty sweet. In essentially the sequel to our August 23rd episode, Natalie cheats time and is back for one last episode (she promises) before the back to school blues. The Permanent Rain Radio is going on a one month-long hiatus because, final exams. But before we go, Chloe stopped in to CiTR for one April '16 episode to spin some great music, and give her sign-off to the NHL (regular) season. It was a gloomy time for hockey, but the music wasn't! This week's playlist featured a plethora of B.C. acts like Youngblood, Sheena Marie, Kaslo, Twin River, Talk Sick, Mellt and Kyla Ferrier. Chloe plays some new tunes from Before You Exit, Rykka, San Felix, Noble Wolves, Seaborne and Jada Klein, and Smash Boom Pow plays a live set at CiTR (featuring songs off their forthcoming EP, Higher Power of Desire). This is exciting stuff.

Chloe rings in March with an all-new episode featuring all-new music. As always, she provides a trusty update on her life as a hockey fan, and also plays some tunes from David Vertesi, Graftician, Bre McDaniel, Sophie Lowe, and Wind-Up Birds. While her episodes are getting progressively shorter, she contends that the music is by no means lacking quality. Does this even make sense?

She is a co-president of the UBC Canadian Liver Foundation, so we talked about the fantastic organization, too.
