Clearly Struggling with Destini and Kelly

In true Clearly Stuggling fashion, Kelly and Destini are sharing honestly about their lack of hygeine (enough already!), depression, and self esteem. 

We managed to catch a momentous event in our relationship on the pod! Destini and I have our first fight. And we spend an outrageous amount of time talking about running. 

Ahhh...the age old question. Do I want to go see Magic Mike or do I want to run a 5K?

Just in case you needed a reminder, we don't have great hygiene. Also, we're handing out valuable information about periods and birth control. We are not doctors or even really smart people so don't take anything we say too seriously.

We recorded episode 13 on Friday the 13th and then didn't upload it until the 15th. New year, same us! 2023 is the year we make it weird!

This episode is about two things: the live action Beauty and the Beast and how much we are NOT feeling the holiday spirit. 

Luckily we have our senses of humor still intact. With everything the world is throwing at us, we're gonna need 'em!

We are so sleepy! The world has got us down and the only way for us to survive is to start living like the Sleepytime bear. 

Halloween is coming and we're talking about costumes. Yes, two grown adult women are going to talk about dressing up for Halloween. It's pretty cool. 

Just when you thought this pod made the leap from hot mess to suc-cess (rhymes)...nope. 40% of this pod is us having sound issues or talking about having sound issues. 30% of this pod is us talking about what to cut out because of said sound issues and because another 10% is Kelly being inadvertantly mean to Destini. And 10% is quality content.

We're talking about weird things that make us feel sad or embarrassed. And we're honing on Destini's TikTok gimmick.

This week, we've started to feel like maybe this podcast is really taking off! We're going through all the responses from our listeners and finally talking about Destini's future as a TikTok star.

We are here with more medical mysteries and more struggles than we ever thought possible. Also, considering changing our name to A Coupla Crusty Old Ladies.

It is still hot here in LA and it's hard to talk about anything else. But we try. We try for a full hour. And for the first time ever, we come up with the topic for our next episode!

We promised we were back to regular recording but we accidentally lied about that. NOW we're back. We're covering Covid (duh), the heat in LA, and Destini's secret trip.

Here's a real shocker: we're starting season 6 talking about Covid. But we'll also talk about Kelly's bidet and Destini's outburst at the veterinarian and everything else we've struggled with over the past few months. 

Mask mandates are gone. We're working too much or not at all. Everything is going to hell! But at least we have game shows!

Destini is shocking the world by revealing the risks she's taken in the past few weeks. You will not believe it's actually her!

As long as Covid continues to threaten us, we will be staying home and staying safe. So  we just don't have a lot of interesting things to talk about. We are no longer the only ones struggling. But don't worry...we are really struggling.

Just when we thought we reeeeally knew each other...on this episode we discover that both of us watched Bachelor in Paradise. This episode is a solid 3.5 out of 5.

You read that right. Destini and Kelly are now in an exclusive club--people with beautiful DMV pictures. We're also talking about our strengths and weaknesses, being artists, and who on this pod is the producer and who is the talent. 

We really didn't think we had anything to say...but Destini is about to GO OFF! She's sharing her strong opinions on just about everything!

We're back after a short break and we have a lot of catching up to do. Of course we cover Martin Short. Of course we cover Covid. And of course we're covering all of our struggles. 

We're talking re-entering the world post-vaccine. And we're talking about pineapple. Makes sense.

Yeah, we're still talking about Covid and vaccines. But we're also talking about getting back out into the world and the very weird effect it's having on us.

We've fully given in to the Covid of it all. Now that we're well on our way to fully vaccinated, we can't help ourselves. 

In a very interesting twist of fate, Kelly is having a good week and is borderline not struggling. And then somehow we cover high school reunions, gun control, feral pigs in Florida, and of course Covid.

This is a very special episode of Clearly Struggling. We spend a lot of time talking about our insecurities and then hyping each other up. 

One thing we know for sure: we have a real knack for taking a truly terrible situation (being locked in our homes for a full year and time passing by so fast and not getting any of that time back and maybe not amounting to anything at all in our short lives) and making it funny!!! 

Really dumb struggles abound on this episode. Have you ever accidentally thrown an entire soda around your kitchen? Have you ever had a bad attitude for a full year? Let's talk about it. 

We're covering new listeners, vaccines, jury duty, and more. The struggles are huge this week but hopefully you'll find them as hilarious as we do!

We're all over the place as usual, but one thing we can agree on: even when we've had a terrible week, we're happy to be here with you.

Some struggles are dumber than others but the bottom line is--we are struggling more than ever. We're talking about the cats and the plants and the vaccine and all the other ways our lives are falling apart. 

Yeah we're talking about Doritos again. But we're also talking about mental health and the pandemic and maybe our dumbest struggles ever!

We're talking about Covid (bummer) but also changing our attitudes so we can struggle less (yay)! 

We're talking about the inauguration!!! And Destini gives Kelly a gift that may be the next step in the entire Clearly Struggling Empire!

For better or worse, you can hear everything on this recording! After an intense week, our struggles don't even seem that bad. But that will not stop us from complaining about them!

Ugh, we know the sound is screwed up AGAIN! It doesn't matter how many times we test it, it always changes when we actually record. But please enjoy the high quality content!

After a million technical issues, we think we finally have it all figured out. Podcast-wise, anyway. Our lives are not so figured out and this was a week of serious struggles. 

We're back! And not just for a Christmas special. This is the real deal. After months of quarantine, we feel like things are finally funny again!

Just a little audio snack since we've been away for a little while. We miss our friends (listeners) so much!

Apparently when we randomly disappear without warning, we worry people.  And given our struggles, that's probably appropriate.  But don't worry, we're back! And it turns out that a few weeks in isolation makes us pretty darn funny.

The days are going on and on and we're still here trying to make you laugh even though we're scared and anxious! We thought we'd try to tackle a topic that had nothing to do with coronavirus, but we didn't do it. This is still about coronavirus.
