Tone Test May 10 2014 - Paul Gilbert "Scarified" cover
A quick jam of a Paul Gilbert song to test out some recorded tones. Recorded entirely "in the box" using Cubase 5, Steinberg UR22, TSE x50 amp sim and redwirez cabinet impulses.

Neutron Star
Actually been working on this for nearly a month trying to get the drums and mix just right. Wrote this song with a friend while jamming and it turned out totally wicked so I recorded it. Quite pleased with how it turned out!
-
Epoch (Wings of Time)
Bought a Steinberg UR22 audio interface and recorded this to test it out. The preamps sound great, now the weak link in my recording chain is my mixing skills... Still pretty happy with how it sounds.
-
Prelude To Apocalypse (Jan 3, 2012)
Sounds like the music in a videogame right before some epic battle goes down.
-
Adventure Couch to Parallel Realities (Jan 2, 2013)
Cool riff I was jamming this morning. Just kind of threw it together and managed to nail pretty much everything on the first take.
-
"First Guitarist In Space, Can't Hear Himself Play" (Dec 6, 2012)
Had something pretty cool going with the looper last night, decided to just run the loop out into the pocket studio instead of recording a whole track. Just wanted to capture the idea. Horrible static though.
-
WIIILLLLSSOOOONNN!!!! (Oct 7 2012)
Wanted to record something to show off the low end with that new Jackson JS3V bass I got.
-
Unnamed Thrash Song (Sept 21, 2012)
Working on drums for a full band version of this, hopefully done by monday.
-
Acoustic Demo #60043.1 (Sept. 22, 2199)
Random spaced out sounding acoustic thing. Smoke crack.
-
Giant Robot Showdown (Demo Song Sept 19 2012)
A quick little demo based on a neat riff I thought up this morning. Once again, sounds way better through headphones!
-
Zoom G5 Tone Test (Krank REVO-001)
90 second tone test for my new Zoom G5, specifically the Krank Revolution amp sim. No EQ, reverb, drums, or bass, just guitar direct into my recorder via XLR output. Sounds fucking huge!
-
Slowly We Rot (Obituary cover Sept 3 2012)
Didn't do vocals cause I can't very well, but used real drums instead of a drum loop, got the bass in tune, and improvised a pretty kickass solo at about 2:10. \mm/ <---Too much metal for one hand PROTIP: This mix sounds way better through headphones, listen to it that way if possible.
-
One Hand Jam
So, everyone knows by now that my left hand is pretty much paralyzed. What you don't know is that I'm STILL better at guitar that you. So, yeah, fuck dubstep, go fist yourself.
