CBRS Podcast 68 | Hivefest, DHF, Listing, Onboarding, Games and more

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/ac78a61c ## We’re back: CBRS Podcast, episode 68 It’s been a while. Life got busy (kids on holiday, work, a thousand small things) and honestly, we hadn’t sat down together in weeks either. People even messaged us: “What happened to the #podcast?” One friend had already binged every episode and was asking for more. That felt good. So we grabbed coffee, caught up, joked around like always, and recorded episode 68. Here’s what we actually talked about. HiveFest is back, and it’s in Barcelona @HiveFest is happening 17–20 September in Barcelona. Not far for many of us, warm weather, and yes, we immediately started dreaming about #coldbeetrootsoup. Both of us want to go. The plan is simple: show up for a few days, soak it in, fly back. Minigunner already messaged home about it and Artakush is checking flights right after the Podcast. 2 hours by plane, or 24 hours on FlixBus if you’re feeling brave. We’ve done the cheap-ticket life before. Five euros to Italy sounds great until you remember the 36-hour layover. Alongside HiveFest there’s @ChainCulture on the 18th. It did well in Malaysia, and now it’s coming to Barcelona. We’re curious how it lands in a city that already has a lot of #blockchain activity, and whether it can pull in people who aren’t already deep in #Hive. Our take: ChainCulture is a strong idea. It’s a kind of “here’s what Hive can do” day for projects and builders. But once a year tied only to HiveFest might not be enough. If the goal is to accelerate real adoption and attention for Hive-powered apps, maybe it needs to happen more often, or travel to other hubs. One day doesn’t have to be wildly expensive; it could even grow into something that moves between events once the name sticks. Wallets, listings, and “where did the money go?” We touched on Cold Wallet adding Hive across a huge number of countries. Genuinely cool for reach and trading. But it raised an old frustration: when Hive pays for integrations, we often don’t see clear public breakdowns. Listing fees in this space can be serious money. Tens of thousands isn’t unusual. As a community-funded chain, we want to know: what was spent, what’s the deal, what’s the expected return? Same with past promos (cards, giveaways, transaction contests). Cool ideas on paper; sometimes hard to verify in practice. One of us tried a card project back then and couldn’t get HBD flows working, and we still don’t have a satisfying post-mortem on whether that spend paid off. Wallet presence matters. So does transparency. We’re not against investing in growth; we’re against guessing. InnoPay: small steps, real venues @InnoPay is moving. Presented at events like Aachen Summit, started in Luxembourg with a handful of venues (restaurants, bars) where you can pay in HBD, digital menus in the app. Log in, see where you can spend. Now there’s a first spot outside Luxembourg: Zembar in Bucharest, the first venue in Romania accepting #HBD. That’s the kind of progress you can point at. (Separate from other “creator”-style projects that seem on hold. We’d like to catch up with people like @Starkerz again, especially with @SPKNetwork / @theycallmedan work in motion, renting storage, earning Hive. But that’s another conversation.) DHF, Magi, Keychain, and being careful with millions We went deep on how the #DHF should work, because right now it feels tense. @magi.network is back with another large proposal (after earlier funding while still under VSC). Development is moving, but the liquidity pool is tiny (~$2k). Rumour of a whale topping it up helps; we still need users, not just liquidity. Meanwhile Hive @Keychain is so central that almost every Hive user depends on it. That creates a kind of monopoly on necessity: when they ask for DHF support, the community often has little choice. We’re not trashing Keychain. They’re important. But the dynamic worries us. Our shared view: Fund in #milestones, not open-ended firehoses Early milestones should show real progress, and before the next tranche, some path to revenue (even partial sustainability) Learn from cases like LeoFinance: funded when it made sense; not funded again when results didn’t match the pitch Prefer the @meno model: build something that works first, then ask @ecency got a shout-out for publishing operational transparency and infrastructure sizing for 2025–26. That’s what reporting should look like, on-chain and off-chain, so outsiders can see Hive development too. And yes, Hive’s price came up. We’ve seen 20 cents feel “slow”; seeing six cents (and block rewards feeling thin) makes big new asks like $330k hit harder. It’s not “never fund.” It’s fund like adults: structure, forecast, proof, milestones. Scrobble from @acidyo is doing interesting work: tracking what you listen to across platforms (YouTube, Spotify, etc.) and tying it into Hive. There was debate whether it stores metadata or actual audio; ties to @meno and voice-message style storage came up. Either way, it’s a nice example of one builder shipping something another person needed. “Finally, I can continue my idea.” That chain reaction is how Hive used to feel. We also nodded at @ecency again for transparency, and at old-school milestone reports people voted on: finish work, publish report, community rewards you. That rhythm could map cleanly to modern DHF if we’re disciplined. Games, ads, and not always asking the DHF @minigunner has been deep in @polana (JAM / Polkadot ecosystem) as community manager. We cleaned bots, down from ~20k to ~3k real humans with verification, ~500 very active inside. JAM isn’t ready for months, so idle hands turned to building a football manager game called Gaffer.gg with #Cursor: click-based, no heavy engine, five weeks in, 430 players already in a small community. The lesson bleeding into Hive thinking: Games need energy and revenue eventually Ads aren’t evil if they’re optional, support the dev, and refill in-game energy. Many players will watch 30 ads before they’ll pay a subscription Pump ad revenue into Hive (buy/support the ecosystem) instead of only draining pools Tarot Core and similar Hive games could use the same mindset: watch ads to support the game and each other That led to Gaffer.gg, a fuller soccer management game, weeks of real work, visible in the app. The plan: one serious flagship-style game for Hive. Fun for Hivers, sustainable via ads and community support, not “DHF or die.” We have the people. We have the numbers. Support doesn’t always have to mean another proposal. We’re glad to be back in the studio. Episode 68 is in the bag; episode 69 is next, and we’re aiming not to vanish for weeks again. Thanks for listening. CBRS Podcast 67 | Hive B-Day, Transparency, Apps, Hackysack, Hivedebit & More

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/4b82aff2 Welcome to the CBRS #Podcast, Episode 67. Even though one of us spent the week sick as a dog, literally tearing up in bed, we powered through to bring you this episode. Here is everything we covered in this packed rundown. image created with Gemini AI Happy 6th Birthday, Hive! We kicked things off by singing a little "Happy Birthday" because Hive just turned six years old. It is incredible to see how much the £ecosystem is changing and growing. We gave a massive shoutout to @Godfish, who smashed out five games in less than a month and is absolutely reaping the leaderboards. We also discussed the Polana Gaming Hub, highlighting its internal currency token and XP leaderboard. Plus, we announced that our Wheel of Names now features @Splinterlands Dark Energy Crystals as rewards, and we noted that we will be adding more Layer 2 tokens soon. image created with Gemini AI Health Apps and Hacky Sack Festivals We shifted gears to talk about some awesome real-world projects we are involved in, blending health, youth, and alternative sports. We recently met with an old friend to discuss building a #diabetes app specifically designed to give youth healthy routines. This same friend is putting together an expo festival for alternative sports in Zoetermeer, Netherlands. We were offered to run an hour-and-a-half #HackySack workshop for kids at a neighborhood festival! This led us to brainstorm creating a Hacky Sack app where players sign in to see who is playing HackySack so they can join in. We also made sure to shout out our friend from #Venezuela, a four-time champion who juggles and creates incredible tutorial videos for Hacky Sack tricks. image from @Hivedebit Hive Debit on iOS and Marketing Transparency Next, we dove into the latest #blockchain news and the importance of community #transparency. We shared the exciting news that the @Hivedebit is now available on Apple iOS. We had a brief, funny mix-up where we thought it launched on the EOS blockchain, leading to a quick joke about Dan Larimer. We then broke down a recent marketing meeting hosted by @Starkerz, which included folks from @Blocktrades, @Good-Karma, and @Jarvie. We emphasized that projects need to show their receipts and be transparent about how they spend DHF money. We also discussed the unfortunate downsizing at @Ecency, noting that they cut salaries and squeezed out developers until only two were left. To keep everyone updated on Hive news, we suggested that the community desperately needs regular "Town Hall" meetings. A Call for Podcast Tech Help Before wrapping up the episode, we asked our listeners for a little technical assistance. We mentioned that our podcast RSS feeds are currently having issues syncing with some podcast providers. We put out a call to Brianof London, hoping he could help us figure out why the feeds aren't pushing through properly so we can get back on track.

CBRS Podcast 66 | AI Game Dev, 3Speak Updates and Hive Inflation

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/b6efd0c0 ## Hello Hive ❤️ We’re back at the CBRS Studio for the 66th time! It’s been about three weeks since our last #podcast, but no matter what, we’re still cooking. We’ve got a packed episode today covering everything from building blockchain #games with AI to some serious community news about #Hive. The Birth of Hivecade: Coding with AI The last three weeks have been a wild development ride. It all started when @minigunner needed a specific repair software for a client, and a 12-year-old @dovycola jumped in to help code it using Python and AI! After seeing how fast we could build functional software, a lightbulb went off. If we could build that, what else could we do? The answer was simple: connect it to the #Hive blockchain! Minigunner spent the next few weeks over-saturating our screens and building out #Hivecade. Here is what we managed to cook up with the help of AI: We built fully playable games like Battleship, a Tetris clone, Hive Invaders, and Hexa Break. We connected everything to the Hive @keychain so players can log in and compete. We implemented an online radar, leaderboards, and user profiles that pull data directly from the Hive #blockchain. We made sure everything was totally mobile-friendly so you can play on your phone. We even built a spinning wheel #giveaway tool that automatically sends Hive rewards directly to the winner's wallet! The craziest part? We aren't game developers! It took a lot of prompt tweaking and troubleshooting when the AI gave us bad code, but we kept pushing. 3Speak Updates: Leveling Up Video On the video front, @threespeak has rolled out some fantastic new updates that we are super excited about. They launched a brand-new video player featuring a new SDK. You can now watch and edit Shorts directly on the main app. They introduced Playlists to better organize content. If someone remixes your video, you automatically get 5% of the earnings as a thank you! SPK Network 2.0 &amp; Community Creations The @spknetwork just launched version 2.0! They are rolling out a new Layer 2 governance model, which is a huge step forward for #the ecosystem. We also want to give a massive shoutout to the community. After seeing our posts about Hivecade, @gibic decided to take the plunge and use AI to create a Rock Paper Scissors game on Hive. It just goes to show that the sky is no limit—if you have a vision, the tools are out there for anyone to build! WorldMapPin Revamp Quick update on @detlev: he is currently hard at work renovating and remodeling @worldmappin. We will definitely be bringing him on the podcast in the near future to talk broadly about all the cool changes coming to that project! The Bad News: Hive Inflation We have to talk about the elephant in the room. In February, an extra 10 million Hive were added into circulation. This is heavily impacting #inflation, and it's something the community needs to address. We highly encourage everyone to jump into the Discord discussions and start talking about this. The community has the strength to figure this out, but we need everyone's input. Thanks to everyone for tuning in, commenting, and supporting the stream! The community gives us the drive to keep building. See you next time! <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/eY8mQtu-fG4" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" >

CBRS Podcast 65 | Big Spending and Future of Hive - special guest Starkerz

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/0aa714bf ## Hello Hive ❤️ In this extra-long and candid episode we welcomed back @Starkerz, one of the most experienced builders on Hive. We dove deep into his journey from mechanical engineering and oil &amp; gas project management into #Bitcoin, then Steem -&gt; Hive, and eventually co-founding @threespeak together with @teycallmedan. The conversation covered why Hive remains special (no ICO, no pre-mine, no CEO, true parallel economy potential when combined with Bitcoin + Monero + HBD), the birth and rocky road of #3speak, recent frontend/backend improvements that finally brought upload speed and reliability back, and exciting upcoming tech like client-side encrypted messaging, one-click website archiving to Hive, contactless HBD airdrops via phones, and easy onboarding features. A big part of the talk focused on Hive's current challenges: persistently high #inflation (9–12%+ instead of the scheduled ~5%), massive DHF spending (especially via ValuePlan), questionable proposals (rally cars, boreholes, large recurring budgets with unclear ROI), and the resulting constant sell pressure dragging the price down faster than the broader market. @Starkerz argued for temporary belt-tightening: reduce DHF outflows, ask big proposals to enter maintenance mode, cut ValuePlan to sustainable levels (~$40k/month), add more accountability (reports, milestones, possibly downvotes or spending caps on DHF), lower HPD/Hive APR rewards, and redirect funds toward measurable digital marketing, new-user retention, and showcasing Hive's real utility. We ended on a hopeful note highlighting talented people still grinding (@Meno, @Eddiespino, @kesolink, @Tibfox, @mantequilla-soft), revolutionary tools already live or coming soon, and the belief that fixing the economy first can create the conditions for price recovery, better onboarding, and long-term growth. A raw, sometimes controversial, but very human discussion about what Hive is, what it could be, and what needs to change to get there. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/v7ZY0TaSgvY" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" >

    CBRS Podcast 64 | Importance of Hive-Echo and 3Speak

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/dedff1be In this episode of the CBRS Podcast, we kick things off with some chaotic post-birthday vibes. @artakush wooden table got absolutely wrecked from the party (liquids everywhere &amp; white stains), so now it's time for sanding and rewaxing the table. He and his friends had a blast though: 4.5 kilos of shashlik, salads, desserts, plenty of drinks. Hive-Echo is Important We then focused on Hive blockchain topics, especially the current state of the community. There's real frustration about lack of unity and support. Many users seem to be there just to take (rewards, value) without giving back through engagement, reposts, or simple votes on important posts. We highlight how one dedicated person @Starkerz pushed a great development update on X, but it barely got traction until we boosted it with @Hive-echo. The call is clear: follow #Hive-Echo, drop one vote or repost per week for good stuff, support creators and projects to lift the whole ecosystem. Bigger accounts especially should step up, because spreading awareness directly helps Hive's visibility. Challanges at 3Speak We talk about @threespeak. Starkerz and @theycallmedan have poured tons of personal money and effort in over years, dealing with developer issues, server costs, and declining activity when things weren't smooth. Recently things improved a lot thanks to @meno (a key contributor with smart fixes that unclogged pipelines and sped things up). Uploads now show clear progress, and performance feels much better. We debate a proposed change: posting videos to Hive instantly (so the post exists right away), then letting #encoding happen in the background with a memo/transaction update when ready. Pros: reduces uploader frustration and might keep people posting. Cons: viewers might open a fresh post and see nothing playable yet, hurting retention, watch time, and votes. Overall we lean toward keeping the current flow (wait until fully ready before showing publicly) to protect viewer experience, while praising the recent UX gains. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HQS2JoPRkRQ" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > We brainstorm ideas to grow #3Speak and #Hive adoption: better marketing, widgets for easy Web2 integration (watch/post without a full Hive account), archive tools for quick content saving, potential Twitch/ streaming collabs, donation features, and more. We also touch on community events (maybe a low-key #Hive-meetup in the Netherlands someday, keeping it simple and affordable) and the broader need to focus on real users, creators, and impactful small wins instead of flashy distractions. We wrap up feeling motivated but honest about the challenges: unity, consistent support, and smart focus are key to turning things around. Thanks for listening, Hive on!

CBRS Podcast 63 | Voice Of Holland Blind Auditions Week 1

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/62221f04 Hey everyone, welcome back to the CBRS #Podcast! In this episode we switched things up a bit and dove into the return of #TheVoiceofHolland. After a five-year break (it stopped around 2021 due to some serious issues with misconduct allegations and jury-related drama), the show kicked off again in January 2026, and we decided to check out the first blind auditions episode together. We watched several performances and shared our honest takes: The opening act (a 24-year-old woman who looked way older) had a solid, unique #voice, though not mind-blowing from the first notes. The coaches turned pretty quickly. A few others felt like the judges were being extra picky this season, searching for something truly special rather than just good singing. Standouts included a powerful older guy with great energy, some rock-flavored entries that got us excited, and one high-note killer at the end who really impressed us. We noticed a lot of safe song choices, niche styles, and moments where contestants seemed nervous on stage. We agreed the show feels faster now (everything pre-recorded), and the coaches seem focused on building strong, winnable teams. Overall, it was fun to see fresh talent emerging again, even if not every #performance blew us away like in the early seasons. We reflected a bit on our own #music backgrounds and how shows like this mix raw voice, personality, and potential. To wrap up lighter, we chatted about dad jokes, planned some comedy reviews for next time, and joked about still figuring out our podcast niche. It was a nice, casual vibe — hope you enjoyed tagging along! Catch you in the next one.

CBRS Podcast Episode 62 | Random talk between two Friends

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/33e51057 Hey everyone, in this episode of CBRS #Podcast we just sat down, no big plan, and started chatting about whatever came to mind. We kicked off wishing everyone a happy #Lithuanian Independence Day. Talked about how huge it still feels for us, the Baltic Human Chain, the legendary basketball win against USA, The Other Dream Team movie, and how that iconic Lithuanian flag skeleton t-shirt randomly popped up on Phoebe from Friends and even on Matty Matheson years later. Pretty cool full-circle moment. From there we went deep into how real togetherness and community feeling seems to be disappearing these days and everything turned into "us vs them", strong opinions that don't allow any #discussion anymore, and how younger generations sometimes don't feel the same weight of independence that we still carry. We also touched on demographics, low birth rates, why pension ages keep going up (Netherlands already at 68…), and whether governments are just cleverly extending working years or if it's really because there aren't enough young people paying taxes anymore. Of course we couldn't skip current world events: massive unrest in #Iran (internet blackouts, Starlink helping), old photos of how Western/modern Iran looked before 1979, the crazy #Venezuela story about an alleged non-lethal weapon + helicopter snatch of #Maduro that sounded straight out of Call of Duty (yes, the 2020 game literally has a final mission in Venezuela), and how thin the line between games and reality sometimes feels. We had a good laugh about the recent Dutch snow chaos (country completely unprepared as always), our failed attempt at smooth-talking three ladies on the street, building snowmen, and stupid scooter vs bike decisions in icy weather. Later we talked about doomsday prep letters from the Dutch government, how Eastern Europeans have been casually preparing for "winter apocalypse" our whole lives (basement full of hunted meat, pickles, soups under the bed), and why having some basic backup stuff when you have kids just feels responsible, not crazy. Quick crypto moment: #Zcash core team leaving → big price dump, #privacy coins pumping hard lately. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/fsBqMZFHbuM" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > We finished with plans for the future: more #fun episodes, reaction videos, maybe play pool + anonymous jokes, trying to make silly short content, playing with AI game creation tools (dreaming about a stupid CBRS soup-shop idle game), being careful with all the current phishing waves, and just enjoying making stuff together even if we still haven't found "the perfect niche". That's pretty much us guys :) random, honest, sometimes serious, mostly having fun. Thanks for listening/reading, see you in the next one!

CBRS Podcast 61 | NewYear, Venezuela, Social Media, Migration, games and Technology

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/ef592f8b ## Hello Hive In this new episode, @Artakush and @minigunner kicked off 2026 with a wide range and casual discussion. We started by reflecting on the wild Dutch New Year's fireworks celebrations, criticizing the upcoming 2026 ban as counterproductive, predicting it will lead to illegal, more dangerous fireworks and increased accidents. The conversation shifted to global events, including speculation about a fictional US intervention in #Venezuela to remove Maduro, debating the mix of humanitarian motives and resource interests (oil, gold, minerals). We akso expressed unease about geopolitics, migration challenges in Europe (high migrant percentages in Dutch cities, housing and benefit disparities), welfare fraud scandals, and declining European birth rates contrasted with higher rates among immigrant communities. YOUTUBE VIDEO Topics expand to the downsides of social media and technology: how it destroys real social interaction, harms child development, promotes unrealistic standards, and contributes to family breakdown. We worry about AI deepfakes blurring reality, the loss of cultural identity in Europe, and humanity's over-reliance on screens. On a personal note, @minigunner shared his New Year's resolution to focus more on supporting his children through upcoming school transitions. We also touched on gaming (Civilization, cheap Steam keys, new series like Future Man), #Hive blockchain updates, community tools, and plans to grow our YouTube channel with shorts and videos. The episode wraped with optimism about continuing the podcast, calls for more real-life interaction, less screen time, and finding inner peace in a chaotic world.

CBRS Podcast 60 | Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and big changes

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/etlaijeu ## Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Hey everyone, #MerryChristmas and Happy Hanukkah! We hope you had an amazing time with family and friends, great food, and lots of joy. Why We Skipped Some Episodes We missed a couple of episodes lately because life got super busy with work, kids, and family. The podcast started feeling like extra work on top of everything else, especially for @MiniGunner who was juggling too many tasks. It built up and we just needed a break to avoid burning out. Big Changes Coming in 2026 Starting in the new year, we're keeping the CBRS Podcast going but making it more relaxed and fun. We'll talk about whatever interests us – funny stories, random life moments, reactions, sketches – not just #Hive stuff. We want to go back to our roots: just chatting, laughing, and enjoying ourselves like when we first started. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0DIEeWMyBZI" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > What We're Stopping and Trying New We're stopping the daily @Hive-Echo posts because it added too much pressure (sorry about that!). If someone wants to volunteer to take over, we're open to passing the torch. We'll post episodes when we feel like it, without a strict weekly schedule. The main focus will shift more to YouTube, and we'll experiment with other platforms. We're still representing Hive, but we want to reach new people who just enjoy our vibes and positivity. We can't wait to get back to having fun with you all. Happy 2026 – let's make it awesome!

CBRS Podcast Ep 59 | Hive Updates, Tools and Transparency

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/wosuripp ## Hello Hive ❤️ Hey everyone, it’s us – the CBRS Podcast crew! We just dropped episode 59 and we’re super excited to share everything that happened. Life got in the way a little (sick kids, late nights, the usual chaos), but we finally sat down in person and recorded a fun one for you. Here’s the full recap, straight from us to you. Wheel of Names Winners – Big Thanks to 3Speak! We kicked things off with the famous Wheel of Names giveaway, proudly supported by our friends at @threespeak. Five lucky winners walked away with 10 HIVE each! Huge congratulations go out to: @maykit55 @ivyann @shoyebxyz @patienceakpan @palabras1 Thank you #3Speak for making this possible every week! We’re tweaking the format a bit moving forward – probably two wheels per episode with 5 HIVE each – because we’re now focusing more on boosting individual Hive posts on X instead of the big weekly stats threads. More support, more love, same good vibes! Created with AI Hive Creative Rewards, Onboarding Transparency &amp; Cool New Tools We talked about some awesome community stuff happening right now: The @hivecreators Rewards 2025 is live and they actually asked the community for category ideas before launching – that’s how you do it! We hope there’s a “Best Podcast” category (fingers crossed for us, but honestly @thepeoplesguild, @acgalarza and a bunch of others are killing it too). Massive shoutout to the onboarding transparency tool @checkinwith.xyz for showing exactly who onboarded whom from October to December. Real people bringing in real people, just like the old-school face-to-face days. This is gold for everyone. @louis88 dropped the Hive Keyword Fetcher – finally an easy way to search old posts with specific words, all the way back to the beginning. Game changer! @skatehive can now be found on the Apple App Store – huge milestone after all these years! @threespeak released their weekly node report – full transparency on who’s running nodes and how long they’ve been up. Love to see it. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/z2zuElGeB4g" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > Random Fun: Dreams, Stand-Up Comedy &amp; Parody Songs Of course we went off-script (because it’s us). One of us had the wildest dream ever: showing up to an open mic dressed as Trump, long socks over the knees, forgetting the “Biden pills” and killing it on stage. The crowd lost it, then boom – woke up. Safe to say stand-up comedy might be the future now. We also re-recorded some old parody songs with friends and laughed way too much about @mynewlife (sorry brother) jokes and banana volcanoes. Classic CBRS chaos. Let’s Keep It Real in 2025 At the end of the day, the message is simple: transparency, real connections, supporting each other, and building stuff that actually matters. Less fake hype, more real action. We need your comments, your ideas, your posts – every bit of activity helps the chain grow. Thanks for listening, thanks for being part of this crazy Hive journey with us, and see you in the next episode! Much love, Your CBRS Podcast crew

CBRS Podcast 58 | Fixing Hive Inflation, Hive-Echo and HBD to the Moon

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/yanfdlso ## Hello Hive Hey everyone, it’s us from the CBRS Podcast! We just dropped episode 58 and it turned out to be one of our most important ones yet. We recorded it in our freezing studio in the Netherlands (yes, our hands were literally going numb), but the topics got us so fired up that we forgot about the cold. Here’s what we talked about this week. Hive-Echo Wheel of names As always, we kicked things off by spinning the Wheel of Names for the Hive-Echo CTA Week 44 giveaway. Huge congratulations to the five winners who each took home 10 HIVE: @roswelborges @gr33nm4ster @palabras1 @mdakash62 @oadissin Your prizes are already in your wallets – enjoy! We also shared that we’re working on a little refresh for Hive-Echo: new design, clearer info, and we might pause the daily Shorts to focus on amplifying the truly important updates and information that actually help people understand what Hive can do. We Need to Fix Hive Inflation – It’s Time to Get Serious The main thing we discussed is the big post from @threespeak about reducing Hive inflation. We completely agree: right now we spend too much on Marketing that does not work, and we’re giving out DHF (proposal) money way too easily. We said #Hive feels like a basketball team that’s injured but still trying to play the last quarter instead of healing properly. Do we want short-term cash or a blockchain that lasts 20+ years? We choose the long game. Some ideas we loved: Stop funding games and apps that only live inside Hive and don’t bring new users or real value. Split #DHF proposals into tiers (small, medium, big) with clear milestones. Finish phase 1 → get the next chunk of money. Do the same with ValuePlan – no more one or two people deciding where marketing money goes. Let the community vote in small stages. The reward.app made it too easy to cash out everything instantly. Take away the possibility to liquidate Hive and only allow 50/50 rewards. If big accounts sometimes set 100 % beneficiary to @null for a while and burn Hive, that would help too. Every little bit counts. Bottom line: we have to stop the crazy inflation now or the future looks rough. Awesome New Tools That Bring Fresh Money Into Hive Good news everyone! You can now send Solana, USDT and USDC (both on Solana and Ethereum) straight to any Hive account and it gets swapped into HBD automatically. Together with the existing BTC → HBD bridge this is huge! That means every café, shop or hotel that already accepts HBD should also list themselves on btcmap.org (and solanamap, etc.). When Bitcoin or Solana people spend there, we get fresh HBD into the Hive ecosystem. Total win-win. Community Fun and Cool Projects We Love Right Now @Holozing Christmas Advent calendar is live and it’s pure joy. We opened day 1 together on stream – everyone should join! Over 4,100 Holozing vials sold and more than 2,000 already opened. The new creature “Wuzing” looks dope. We’re super excited for battles and the full Pokémon-style game. Hive.io got a fresh, colorful redesign – finally shows more community spirit. @meno dropped voice messages on @Snapie – seriously, go try it, it’s amazing! @theycallmedan is working on a decentralized Discord replacement on Hive. Can’t wait. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gMo1555MetQ" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > Closing Thoughts – Let’s Save and Build Hive Together We ended the episode begging everyone to go read the #3speak inflation post and leave your opinion. This is the moment to speak up. Christmas is coming, but the real gift we can give Hive is fixing the economics so it stays strong for years. Next week we’ll try to get @Starkerz on the show to go even deeper. Thanks for listening/watching, stay warm (unlike us in the studio), power up, and see you in the next one! Much love, Your CBRS Podcast crew

CBRS Podcast Episode 57 | Hard Forks, Big Updates, Disneyland Drama, and More Hive Love!

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/yfyzfvbu ## Hello Hive ❤️ Hey everyone, it’s us from CBRS Podcast! We just dropped episode 57 and, as always, we had a blast recording it. Here’s everything we talked about in simple words straight from us. Hard Fork 28 Went Smooth – But Check Your Witnesses! We started the show with the usual BOOM and jumped right into @Hive-Echo and the Wheel Of Names to shout out the latest winners. Congratulations to @patienceakpan, @roswelborges, @palabras1, @oadissin and @handsome44. Hard Fork 28 happened a couple days ago and everything ran super smooth – almost no problems at all. The only thing we really want everyone to do is go check your #witnesses. Some are inactive or still running old versions. Pick fresh, active ones that updated to HF28. It only takes a minute and it helps the whole chain stay strong and fast. Huge Wins for Curators + New Features Live Now The #curation reward change is honestly one of the best updates we’ve had in a long time. Before, if you voted multiple times in a row your voting power kept dropping even at 100%. Now? You can vote 1 time, 5 times, 10 times – it stays the same strength every single time. That means curation rewards are about to go way up. Perfect time to start voting like crazy and earn more! We also got recurring transactions to the same account (you can now set up multiple ones), plus HBD is excluded from the calculation of inflation in DHF – that’s roughly 25% less inflation overall. All the small details are in the official posts from @gadrian, @keychain and @gungunkrishu. Hive Feels Strange + Price Almost Touching Steem! The vibes on Hive right now is completely different from one or two years ago. It doesn't feel like a real community and people stopped building, posting, caring. @Snapie is now fully browser-based Snapie.io (just log in with your posting key – no download needed) Tnak you @meno. @MusicZone is still going strong for all the musicians out there. #Vibes Competition is officially gone for good. And the HIVE price? We hit $0.9871 not long ago and it's very close to Steem price at $0.678. Half a year ago Steem was only 12 cents and we were at 30+ cents. Look at us now... <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bXH6ZwOhBOQ" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > Disneyland Destroyed Minigunners Wallet @minigunner spent the weekend in Disneyland with the family – three full days of pure magic and pain. We’re not gonna lie: 200 euros disappeared in what felt like 20 minutes on food, toys, and bubble wands that cost 30 euros (we could buy 10 of those on Temu). But seeing the kids light up, snow falling while Minigunner's daughter little Elsa stood in her dress – man, those moments are priceless. You have to treat yourself and your family sometimes. Life isn’t just grinding – it’s also making memories. We also talked about some cool projects from @acidyo and @hivetrending like @CommentRewarder (still going strong but sometimes struggles with liquid Hive), we do love the new @ReblogRewarder idea, but think it will create even more headaich with Liquid HIVE, and last @TheMarkyMark’s new DHF proposal, fingers crossed it gets funded. That’s pretty much it for episode 57! Short, sweet, and full of good vibes. If you haven’t yet – go watch it on YouTube, hit that like button, subscribe, and give us a reblog. We’ll see you next week with hopefully an extra special guest to talk about the future of Hive. Much love guys – stay blocky!

CBRS Podcast EP.56 | Hive-Ech0, Splinterlands, Discord, AI and more Updates

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/ynaibhnx ## Celebrating Our Podcast Milestone Hey everyone, it's us from the CBRS #Podcast, back in the studio with Minigunner and Artakush, or Art AK as some call him. We're fresh from our adventures and ready to chat. We just hit our one-year birthday for the podcast, even though it's a bit past the actual date. We figured episode 55 was a perfect time to celebrate because it felt right. It was pure joy for us, realizing we've kept this going for a whole year, almost effortlessly. Sure, there were tough moments, like when @ThreeSpeak wasn't working or when one of us was pulling all-nighters. But overall, it was awesome. We even had a special cake made by some amazing folks at Adore Cake Atelier, and we showed them the pics and links. It brought in new followers too. We're getting better at this time-traveling vibe in our episodes without all the arm-flailing. Hive-Echo, Splinterlands and Decentralized Discord Let's jump into the usual news roundup. First up, @hive-echo Wheel of names. As always we had a full wheel of Hive usernames ready to win some Hive. Here are our 5 winner who will get 10 HIVE each. @offia66, @bilalber, @soma18, @ladyaryastark, @momins Thank you to everyone who is supporting this innitiative and participating in the wheel of names. A hge shoutout to @threespeak for supporting Hive-Echo with votes and Liquid HIVE. @Splinterlands has a new partnership with KlinkFinance, and they're running a grand prize tournament with a whopping $1,500 reward. That's huge! We've noticed changes in the game, like with entries, scrolls, and card openings. Lately, we're not getting as many gold cards or legendaries from chests, even though chests now cost 2500 Glint instead of 1000. It feels like things are getting diluted as the game grows, which makes sense with more players. You need at least 100,000 SPS staked for bigger rewards, but we're still enjoying it. Congrats to #Splinterlands on the partnership. It's similar to what we thought about doing with #Intract, task-based stuff to bring in new users. They're finally doing some marketing, and it should happen monthly to keep growing. We also talked about @theycallmedan hinting at a #decentralized Discord built on Hive. We've been waiting for this for years. Imagine instant transactions right in Discord, where half of Hive's users already hang out. It could replace town halls and make everything smoother. But it needs to be separate from #Hive branding, just powered by, like Splinterlands. That way, it attracts people outside our community. We're excited to see it live. Portable Nodes, Threespeak Updates and AI Minister Shoutout to @thebeedevs for their Portable Raspberry Pi nodes. We were geeking out over this. We've thought about getting one to run our own node, display its health, and show HBD and Hive balances right here in the studio. They have awesome casings, like Transformer-style or portable ones. It's affordable and perfect for #Hive enthusiasts. If anyone can help us set it up, hit us up. @ThreeSpeak got some sweet updates too. The app is way faster and smoother now, thanks to @meno working hard behind the scenes. He cleaned up a ton of code. We uploaded a 1.2 GB video, and it encoded in just half an hour instead of half a day. Love it! We shared our thoughts on Albania appointing an #AI minister, a lady who's already facing opposition. It's wild, like Joe Rogan’s idea of an AI president to cut out corruption. But it's scary too, with no emotions involved, just tech running things. We're living in crazy times: wars, AI governments, crypto crashes, digital IDs. It feels like movies like The #Matrix or Ready Player One predicted this. Back in our Hacker Second days in Lithuania, life was simpler. Now, with instant info everywhere, it's overwhelming. We stick to Hive to keep our sanity. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OSFAR8B9SoA" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > Wrapping Up with short Hive Updates Hive price hit rock bottom at 10.85 cents, we think the lowest ever. But grab some while it's cheap; things will normalize. HBD is key as a #stablecoin. @Commentrewarder is struggling with payouts due to low prices and high usage, so we're voting on their daily updates to help. Everyone should do that; it's a vital tool. @acidyo and Team @OCD are focusing votes there too. With great power comes great responsibility. DHF now supports @themarkymark's and @holozing's proposal, which is awesome. @LordButterfly is pushing for changes at @ValuePlan, focusing on transparency: show reports, receipts, and results. Projects getting funds should update regularly. We need to view Hive from a business angle, not just charity. Apps like Splinterlands thrive with plans. Hive isn't a charity; users should have strategies, like consistent posting. Back in Steemit days, we shouted about it to everyone. Now, we're in a bubble, not spreading the word. We must build dApps that go beyond Hive to attract outsiders. Community projects like the #waterwells are important for Social Impact, even if they don't bring users directly. But rethink them: partner with other blockchains like #Bitcoin or @dashpay or @digibytecoin communities for bigger reach. We tried philanthropy with #Monero before. Let's form consortia for more efficiency. That's it for this episode. Check us out on YouTube, like, comment, subscribe. Thanks for the support. Stay safe and enjoy these AI governments. Up to the next one!

CBRS Podcast Ep 55 | Happy 1 Year Birthday CBRS Podcast

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/gxtzsyrt ## Our CBRS Podcast Turns One: A Wild Birthday Bash! Hey everyone, it's Artakush and Minigunner from the CBRS #Podcast, and we just hit our one year milestone with episode 55! We kicked things off with pure chaos and joy, counting down like rockets and popping champagne. We're tipsy, we're loud, and we're so grateful you're here with us every week. This podcast feels like our Sunday church, sometimes Monday mass, but always a blast. One full year of weekly chats about #Hive Blockchain, life, and everything hype. We even squeezed in an extra episode to make up for that one vacation skip. Huge congrats to us, to you, and to the whole #community. We're just getting started! The Great Cake Disaster (That Turned Epic) Let us tell you the saga of our birthday cake. One of us (Artakush 😁) ordered this beauty weeks ahead from a local bakery, all custom and fancy. Pickup day arrives, and boom, they thought it was for next week! Baker's worst nightmare, right? Wedding-level panic. But we don't do problems, we do #solutions. The amazing lady there whipped up a fresh lemon poppy seed masterpiece on the spot, complete with "CBRS Podcast" icing. It melted a bit in the heat, but we saved it. We made our wishes, blew out candles twice for good luck, and dove in. Sour, sweet, perfect. Not what we planned, but exactly what we needed. Hive Wins, Updates, and Parrot Mania This week was packed with Hive fire! First, massive shoutout to all the @Holozing Pack openers. We finally cracked open those 3D cubes, snagging golden cards, rare creatures, and holos. One of us scored a mystery character no one else has. Holozing's DHF proposal is close to passing, and they're teaming with @Blocktrades for next-level H-A-F NFTs. Game-changing stuff. Congratz to all the @Hive-echo Wheel of names winners. 10 HIVE each go to @momins, @uyobong, @kawsar8035, @sahi1 and @oadissin. Thank you for sharing Hive related content on Web2. Big congrats to @VSC.network for rebranding to @magi.network. Fresh name, colorful vibe, perfect for pulling in outsiders. @LordButterfly, you're killing it! 137,000 HBD Distributed to about 6400 users. Insane growth. @themarkymark's tool is a transparency beast, showing where funds flow. Vote for his DHF, folks! Oh, and #private coins like @Dashpay and #Zcash exploded: 80% weekly pumps, over 1000% in 90 days. Privacy is back, baby. YT VIDEO Cheers to You, and What's Next This podcast is our weekly sanity save, our creative juice refill, and we do it all for the community. Massive thanks to delegators, @ThreeSpeak, @Starkerz, @Theycallmedan, @GuiltyParties, @eddiespino, @roelandp (call us, man!), and every single one of you who comments, supports, and vibes with us. You make this fun. We're already planning #HiveFest Lithuania with spreadsheets full of speakers, spots, and wild ideas. Year two? We're coming harder. The cake was lemony perfection, champagne flowed, and we ended stuffed and happy. Check us on YouTube, support on Hive, and we'll catch you next week. Happy birthday CBRS! You'd better risk it, but can. Yes!

CBRS Podcast Episode 54 | Hive-Echo, Freechain, Splinterlands and Keychain Giveaway

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=coldbeetrootsoup/wqsplvlq ## Welcome to Our Latest CBRS Podcast Episode Hey everyone, we're back in the CBRS #Podcast studio with @Minigunner and @Artakush. It's been a couple of weeks with not a ton of news, but the stuff we do have is super exciting. At least a couple of things on our list got us pumped up. We kicked things off by spinning the wheel of names for the @Hive-Echo Initiative to pick this week's winners. Congrats to the winners: @sumaiya777, @ezemhugo, @roswelborges, @eliza01, @ibbtammy 🙌😊. Huge Thank You to @threespeak for supporting this amazing innitiative. We also chatted about a cool new tool from @hivecreators that we were able too support with @Hive-echo. It lets you see how many transactions you've made on the #Hive blockchain. Hive just hit over four billion transactions, which is wild because it's all free with no fees. If you want to check your own, head to https://op.hivecreators.co/. We shared our stats too. @coldbeetrootsoup has 189,000, then @Artakush has 156,000, and someone else is at 29,000 😂. Halloween Fun and Giveaways on Hive Shifting gears, we talked about the Hive @Keychain Halloween giveaway. It was a blast, and the winners have been announced by @aliento. First place got 100 Hive, second place snagged a 10,000 HP delegation, and third place took home a 5,000 HP delegation. We're not sure on the delegation length, but it's probably for a good while. Big congrats to all the winners. It was a fun way to celebrate the spooky season on the #blockchain. Major Wins for Hive Projects Now for some seriously awesome news. We gave a huge shoutout to @LordButterfly for getting the movie #FreeChain picked up by #AlJazeera. That's massive, like one of the top networks in the world with 400 million viewers. He could have just dropped it on YouTube, but waiting paid off big time. The film dives into our Hive journey, the power of community, Web3, and blockchain basics. It's not just for us Hivians, it's to show the outside world what we've built through tough times. We were surprised not more people commented or hyped it up, but maybe it needs time to spread. Some folks questioned the spending on projects like this, but we think it was a smart move. Stay tuned for updates from Lord Butterfly, and when it airs, we'll rally the #Hive army to support it. We also covered the first 18 proposed @hivehubs. These are spots from East Asia to Poland, South America, Mexico, and Venezuela where people gather, spend HBD, and just hang out. It'd be cool to see them on @worldmappin soon, maybe with toggles for different features. Then there's @Splinterlands, which hit the top spot as the leading collectible blockchain #game. We saw it on X from #PlaytoEarn, and it's impressive how it's kept growing for years. #Community first is key, and it shows. Our rolls from the last season weren't great, but the game keeps us hooked with events and strategies. Chances in draws are slim against thousands of players, but it's all about the fun and improvement. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bTK3QGHQj4g" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" > Hive Price Update and Our Milestone On the price front, Hive dipped to about $0.1197, close to its all-time low of $0.1028. We're watching closely and hoping for a rebound. Wrapping up, next week marks our 55th episode, which means we've been at this for a full year. Time flies like a Butterfly 😂, and we're so grateful for all the support. If you're watching on YouTube, hit that like, comment, subscribe, and share with friends. Let us know what topics you want us to cover, we're always around. Thanks for tuning in, and see you next time!
