Keflavík Drone Editon
Colin & Mingo's eleventh podcast, from December 2006, was called "Keflavík Drone Editon” (and that’s not a typo). This is a special Magakrampi & Blanda editon of the Bleu Cheeze Ripple Ice Cream Presents the Maxwell Montes Download. We are treated to the debut of a complex, multi-cultural instrumental track called "Keflavík Drone” which would later be featured on the album “Spurning." www.trovish.org/cm/podcasts.html This is a real editon.

Chica de Titicaca Edition
Colin & Mingo's tenth podcast, from November 2006, was called "Chica de Titicaca Edition.” Bleu Cheeze Ripple Ice Cream sponsored yet another foxy podcast. An unnamed narrator suggests that Señorita Inez might be present at Club Chica de Titicaca. Maxwell Montes takes the mic, but is unable to describe the anatomical impossibility of the Chiapan Surprise. After an "intense experience" occurs, the unnamed narrator takes over again, and tells us that everyone else has been left speechless and local emergency services are overwhelmed. This one also ended up as a track on Magakrampi & Blanda's album, "Spurning". www.trovish.org/cm/podcasts.html It was all a dream.

Cool and Frosty (not Warm and Toasty)
Colin & Mingo's ninth podcast, from October 2006, was called "Cool and Frosty (not Warm and Toasty).” Bleu Cheeze Ripple Ice Cream sponsored this short podcast for all of those who are concerned about the weather and who have a ready supply of squirrels on hand to correctly interpret the weather forecast. This one also ended up as a track on Magakrampi & Blanda's album, "Spurning". www.trovish.org/cm/podcasts.html Bleu Cheeze Ripple Ice Cream. It’s Bity.

Summer Trax
Colin & Mingo's eighth podcast, from September 2006, was called "Summer Trax.” From this podcast on, the opening and closing sounds have been standardized. The “Summer Trax” include: * "The Maxwell Montes Megamix,” a trippy sonic creation which later appeared on Magakrampi & Blanda's album “Spurning” (retitled "Maxwell's Song”) * A new but untitled track from Magakrampi & Blanda, quiet and subtle compared to the “Megamix.” This track also ended up on “Spurning” (and it got a title: "Cold Star”) * An exclusive new Colin & Mingo ringtone. Maxwell Montes Re-Preview
Our seventh podcast, from June 2006, was called "Maxwell Montes Re-Preview.” I’m skipping the super-short sixth podcast (“Maxwell Montes Preview”) because it was hard to understand—the material was better presented in the one linked below. We began our second season of the Super-Culturama Starcast with the introduction of a new continuing personality, "Maxwell Montes." Maxwell Montes, creator of the Montes Method, and bad-ass villain "Maxwell Mentos" from "The Duodenum Twins vs. the Devlish Brine Shrimp," gives us a preview of the upcoming podcasting season. We should expect to hear more about Purple Chihuahua Man, Señorita Inez and her Chiapan Surprise, and the world-famous Quintana Roo Tabernacle Choir in future installments. www.trovish.org/cm/podcasts.html Bleu Cheeze Ripple Ice Cream. Holiday Music from Colin & Mingo
Our fifth podcast (technically a “Super-Culturama Starcast”), from December 2005, was called "Holiday Music from Colin & Mingo.” We closed out the year with a foxy, digitally remastered recording of the ultimate holiday song, "Groovy Christmas” (originally available on our album “Combat for Decency”). There’s also an announcement of the opening of the film “The Duodenum Twins vs. the Devilish Brine Shrimp." www.trovish.org/cm/podcasts.html Bleu Cheeze Moistened Foxy Bathroom Wipes. They’re bity!

Geoff Collens Interviews Gerard the Pastry Chef.
The fourth podcast, from October 2005, was called "Geoff Collens Interviews Gerard the Pastry Chef.” This foxy "super-culturama starcast" strayed somewhat from the formula of the previous ones. But all 13 minutes of it are very foxy. Geoff Collens interviews world-renowned pastry chef Gerard. Geoff asks Gerard 10 foxy questions which have been statistically calculated for maximum effectiveness. You will learn a lot of foxy facts about pastry by listening to this podcast. www.trovish.org/cm/podcasts.html e-Crisis, Breezeway, and Gazebo. America’s foxiest wipes.

Geoff interviews Thurm Glupston
The third podcast, recorded and released in August 2005, was called "Geoff Collens Interviews Thurm Glupston." In this so-called "super-culturama starcast" the music bed could have been a little lower in the mix, but our "new sponsor" liked it anyway. Crank it up. Geoff Collens interviews Thurm Glupston, host of a series of successful talk shows in the late 1980's. Geoff was Thurm's sidekick in the old days when the program was audio-only. We find out what Thurm has been doing since the show last aired, whether there are any plans to revive the show, and what happened to the cast and crew, including Woody B. Greene (a man who could turn into a plant), Kitty Cologne (a cosmological cosmetologist), We'll Save You Man (a supermarket super hero), and the Duodenum Twins (in their big screen debut, "Duodenum Twins vs. The Devlish Brine Shrimp", which sadly seems to be missing from IMDB even now). We also hear a little about what the cast from "UFO: CROAP" has been up to. e-Crisis, Breezeway, and Gazebo. Ask for them by Name! www.trovish.org/cm/podcasts.html

Colin & Mingo 20th Anniversary Special
The second podcast was the "Colin & Mingo 20th Anniversary Special." In this podcast we hear the "This is a real thing" intro for the very first time and there's a music bed (both obviously missing in the first podcast). We discuss the group's putative origins in Keflavík, the year of mutation, and some of our influences. We hear a short clip from "Mutated Dream", which is considered to be one of the first significant Colin & Mingo tracks (although it is generally unknown to our fans but reportedly hit #1 on the dance charts in the Faroe Islands at some point). There is a "viewer mail" segment in which Colin & Mingo answer questions from Texas, Oregon, Florida, and Nevada about their former British accents, working with Phil Collins, access to the Colin & Mingo back catalog, and whether there is any connection between Colin & Mingo and Magakrampi & Blanda. Magakrampi & Blanda on the Super Cultural Panorama podcast with Geoff Collens
The first Colin & MIngo podcast, recorded on July 18, 2005, was called "Magakrampi & Blanda on the Super Cultural Panorama podcast with Geoff Collens." We did not yet have an intro or a music bed. We got a lot better with the production values as the podcast series progressed. The lack of music makes the recording feel a little dry, but please stick with it. We introduced the enigmatic musical supergroup "Magakrampi & Blanda," supposedly from Iceland, but in this interview I would best characterize the accent as "Canuck". Makes sense due to the specific musical influences cited. We get to hear an instrumental track from Magakrampi & Blanda which was untitled at the time but would later be called "M.A.S.S." and later appeared on their debut release, "Spurning." (This track makes up about 2 minutes of the 7:39 running time of the podcast.) "Bleu Cheeze Ripple Ice Cream: It's Bity!" http://www.trovish.org/cm/podcasts.html
