Jeff Day’s architecture students roll up their sleeves and get to work at Nebraska Innovation Studio. They are part of a multidisciplinary team working on the OUR STORY project, which will fill a gap in the Omaha market for small, aging-ready house designs.

Community and Regional Planning faculty and students met at an open house with citizens of Ogallala to gather information and opinions about the city’s future growth and land use development. The objective is to create strategic goals and recommended actions for better city planning in the next 20 years.

The College of Architecture kept busy this semester preparing towns for population booms, raising awareness of flood risk, visiting Rome and honoring an outstanding faculty.

Award-winning art director and UNL alum Alex Gordon Stotz, one of the creative driving forces behind blockbuster hits like “Barbie” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power," returns to campus and meets with students. Stotz's visit was presented by the College of Architecture and the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts in collaboration with Sheldon Museum of Art.
