    A.I. Artificial Interference

Giles faces a technological terror...with a familiar voice! What happens when Giles tries to embrace artificial intelligence?  Let's just say his vision of a smooth, automated front desk experience doesn't quite pan out. Between an AI with a mind of its own (not to mention a voice that sounds suspiciously familiar) and the arrival of a certain enthusiastic resident, things go sideways in the most hilarious way possible. Can Giles get the kiosk working? Can AI make any sense out of the new information it is getting? And how does Miss Falmacher figure into all of this? Listen now to find out in an episode that proves sometimes the best technology is no technology at all (especially when Danny Hillcrest is around). This episode features a voice clone created specifically for use in this story.  comedy4cast has been bringing listeners hilarious scripted comedy reminiscent of classic sitcoms and old-time radio for nearly two decades. Danny Hillcrest Previews More 2024 Summer Movies

Buzz gives a surprise endorsement to these previews. Can it be? Has Buzz "Scoop" Crackerjack Thomas actually changed his mind? Does he now approve of the way Danny Hillcrest preview reviewing movies? In this episode, Danny tells us everything he knows about about the upcoming Summer films "Despicable Me 4," "Fly Me to the Moon," "Twisters," and "Deadpool & Wolverine." He even plays clips. But remember, Danny makes up the clip dialogue himself, based on very little research. He also seems to have somehow managed to hold onto his sponsor, the world's worst clearing product, Smellz-a-Lot hand soap. Lending their voice in this episode, as Scarlett and Kate, is Bonnie Kenderdine. >> Support comedy4cast by becoming a patron on Patreon>> Or you can get Clinton a Dunkin' card or a cup of coffee via Ko-Fi>> Follow us on X, Instagram, Facebook, MeWe, Mastodon, and BlueSky>> Give us a call via the Super Secret Phone Line: (213) 290-4451>> Drop us an email at podcast @ comedy4cast.com>> Also check out Clinton's other podcast, The Topic is Trek>> Certain sounds effects heard on comedy4cast are courtesy of freeSFX and FreeSound.org Click here for a transcript of this episode.

This time, he'll give you the lowdown on some of this Summer's hottest upcoming blockbuster films. And, as usual, he hasn't seen any of them. No problem. Sit back with a big ol' bucket of popcorn and let Danny tell you everything he knows. Hmmm. Better make it a SMALL bucket of popcorn instead. Big Shot, Chapter 3 – Puzzles Galore

The maître d' spills some Café Americain about Danny. The stranger in town is laser-focused on finding Danny Hillcrest. A fact that puzzles everyone who knows Danny. Even so, Giles, the front desk clerk at the Venus Arms Hotel and Towers, attempted to be accommodating. He suggested the stranger speak with the hotel restaurant's maître d'. A good suggestion. The supposedly-French headwaiter is all too happy to dish some dirt on the departed Danny. Big Shot, Chapter 1 – Danny In Distress

It looks like Danny Hillcrest is in over his head this time! It's the beginning of another April in Middling Fair. As you may know, the fourth month of the year is traditionally a time of chaos in town. And this year appears to be no exception. Even the Narrator is having issues! But it is Danny Hillcrest that seems to be serving as the lightning rod for disaster this time around. His attempts at selling his holiday rom com script to Hollywood have been less than successful. While that's unfortunate, it's not enough to cause a panic. And yet, Danny is jumpy. Scratch that. Danny is EXTRA jumpy. But why? Odd and Ends – Frank Talk About The Road

Transportation troubles. Our regular cast of characters are all still busy working on this year's big, multi-part story. Even Danny Hillcrest is unavailable. Although rumor has it Danny will be back very soon with some info on Summer movie. Until then, we're once again daring to step inside Clinton's mind to find out what's bouncing around in there. Listen and be amazed. This time, it seems that Clinton finds himself confused by everything that has to do with transportation. And we do mean everything. First, he completely misunderstands the wording in a seemingly harmless TV commercial. The request the ad makes sounds reasonable enough -- to most folks. But it soon lands our host in a lot of trouble with the law. To make matters even worse, while Clinton is trying to deal with that problem, he gets some shocking news. Someone has gone and changed the name of a beloved transportation icon. What? Why? Clinton has to find out. All this is enough to make his mind begin to question everthing that has to do with our highways and byways. He even begins to question the wisdom of the markings that guide us along our way. You may never look at roads the same way again. >> Support comedy4cast by becoming a patron on Patreon>> Not able to be a patron? Odds and Ends – Digit Dilemma

Clinton takes a look at numbers. We all use letters and numbers ever day and never stop to think about them. But that doesn't stop Clinton's brain from looking at them sideways. In this episode he questions everything about every single number after 13. It could leave you wondering about digits, too. Of course, that logically leads him to questions about every single letter in the alphabet. Truly life-changing stuff here. He also brings up an odd news story about humpback whales and somehow ties that in with his discussion of letters and numbers. Blame this whole digit dilemma on his odd brain. >> Support comedy4cast by becoming a patron on Patreon>> Not able to be a patron? Ghost Of A Second Chance

Heading down underground. For the first time in months, Cindy decides to visit The Tunnels. But she is still hesitant to make the trip. With all the spheres gone, the space is now without power or water and sits all but abandoned. What will she find in the labyrinth of corridors and chambers? Before she can answer that question though, she has to deal with Danny Hillcrest. It seems the would-be screenwriter is still trying to sell a rom-com script to the streaming services – with little success. He describes a re-write that he hopes will be a winner. High hopes for a Hollywood hit Danny Hillcrest dreams of creating a blockbuster movie. But will that ever happen? After all, he has tried before. Who can forget his script for...uh...we forget. But maybe he'll pull it off this time. What do you think? In this episode you get to hear Danny's latest swing at getting invited to a high-powered meeting in Tinseltown. It's a pitch for one of those holiday rom com movies that seem to breed like reindeer. The format is so popular, he figures he can't lose. But it's Danny, so we're sure he'll find a way. Batter Days, Chapter 19

Rock and Ruse While waiting for gas to arrive at the Ottertown Truck Stop, everyone finds themselves in the station's so-called "De-luxe Parking Lot." That includes the artists and their odd art-project vehicles, Goggles, Kipper, Mulligan and, now. Captain Broughha and the Magenta Fedoras. This could get messy. But, rather than trying to hide, Goggles suggests they openly share everything they know about the golden sphere with Broughha. A corner full of monsters?  Lending their voices in this episode are Bonnie Kenderdine as the Snow Globe Artist; John Bell, from the "Bell's in the Batfry" podcast (thebatfry.com) as the Station Owner; and Gary J.
